Your absolutely right about that my 2008 Yamaha r6 came with akrapovic headers and a sc project slip on but man you can’t go wrong with race fit I recently purchased one and man it’s amazing
I had a M4 on gsxr 600, great exhaust. But honestly if you're just doing a slip on, it doesnt really matter because slip ons dont really do anything besides make it sound better
Depends if a slip on gets rid of a catalytic converter or not. Some bikes have the cat built into the muffler and a slip on will get rid of it. My rsv4 for example has the cat in the muffler and a “slip on” is really a cat delete

It’s the best bang for the buck and sounds amazing-but that’s mostly due to the fact that the system eliminated the eleventeen catalytic converters that came with this Euro5 compliant bike.

I got both Racefit Growler and Austin Racing GP2R. Racefit is better quality, much lighter, welds are insane, sounds as great if not better than Austin and SC and it's cheaper too.

I was trying to find a used racefit growler for my 08 Suzuki 1000 and after one guy that tried to scam me thank God for PayPal that didn't happen, I finally bit the bullet and ordered one directly from racefit and I can't wait until I get it
I totally agree, thats why I went with arrow instead of akra and let me tell you the performance with the arrow over the akra is much better and sound alot better to! SC looks like a soda can with rivets
@@Pavorish yes between arrow and akra exhausts you can tell, you feel how undersized the exhaust tips on the akra are even when removing the baffles. anyone who has a few thousand miles riding with both exhaust will feel the difference , if not your just an idiot or a poser. so I guess we know which one you are!

You realize the 2 cans are for different years right? The s1 sc projects are for a 21/22. The race fits are for 19-20. But S1 sc: -4.5kg, +7.7hp, +6.6 torque from their website. Racefit: n/a on their website
Yeah. You realize the power gains are from the tune, not the straight pipe right? You can get those gains with an oem exhaust and an ecu flash. Also, no, i sold my v4s for 22k and sold my 1299s for 18.5k. Been flipping bikes for over a decade.
@Adobo Moto fair used flipping exists. So yes - after a tune the claimed hp/ torque won't matter as much, but I do care about the weight savings. Knowing I'm getting 8-12lbs saved is a big deal to me. Racekit may have the same but I wouldn't buy from them until I knew exactly what I should expect from it.

Yes racefit is a great exhaust, is it as good as Akrapovic or SC... probably not, their range is limited and their ability to provide mid pipe options and latest model bikes is always delayed beyond their competitors.
V4 is setup where a slip-on does the same thing as a 3/4 system via removing the cats/Euro5 trash. That said, it already has Ti headers…so it should be compared to a full system. Paying that Ducatista premium, bruh.
I've spoken to an Aprilia racer, who's said these stubby exhausts are really bad for the engine and can drop the midrange power by 10 to 20% ........yeek better put my wallet away.
