      I missed that. My mind went to being free of the energetic influences of others in being sovereign. I think that Adam and Damo are only against the mandated element, the "or else" part of it all.

    When we release do we drop the weight constantly but not collapsing?

    • @cal.5081
      @cal.5081 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's not dropping the weight so much as releasing the soft tissue, so it hangs off the bone. Bones up flesh down, as it goes. That can be experienced as a sensation of dropping the weight into the feet. If the crown remains "suspended from above" you will not collapse. And then you are right about the constantly releasing. But the mind must be calm and releasing while the body alignment is correct for the flesh to let go. Please see Sifu Adam's course for detailed instructions :)

    Somebody please explain to me what makes Demo Helper Guy grunt, forcefully stomp his foot, and jump back at Teacher Man's very subtle "song" technique at 2:42.

    • @mj137jm
      @mj137jm 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have edited this comment several times for clarity and also because I have watched the sequence several times in slow motion. I now see many more details that are not included here. Although this explanation is not completely accurate, it should help anyone who is genuinely seeking an answer. There is a Chinese saying that goes, "If I give you one corner of a square cloth, you should be able to find the other three." This is my final edit.
      Adam released the elastically stored potential energy into the demo partner's stiff force as an jin. An jin can be applied downward, trapping the the person between the floor the contact point. When well developed the one receiving it will become very overloaded in their muscles, tendons, joints, etc., unless they can sufficiently song (release, relax without collapsing). That is why the demo partner grunted.
      When the an jin ended the demo partner bounced up because his elastic tissues were loaded like a spring pushed down, which also bounces up when the downward pressure is suddenly removed. In this case the an jin was going on a vector that was down and back relative to the demo partner. When he bounced up and forward and back into Adam. Since his two feet were effectively off the floor the released energy from the bounce into Adam now caused the demo partner, for a brief instant, barely visible in slow motion, to rotate counter clockwise relative to the viewer. In other words in his own frame of reference the demo partner's head was going backwards and his feet were going forwards for a very brief moment, almost invisible even in slow motion.
      At this point the demo partner reactively shot his hips back using the the an jin from Adam and then feet back and down the floor using his own power, causing the stomping sound and avoiding a fall on his butt or back. When he landed on his feet he was trapped again and the sequence once more and played out a little differently.

      @@mj137jm Have you ever personally experienced this dramatic type of jin release effect yourself, upon your own body?

    • @mj137jm
      @mj137jm 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@yinyangthang Yes, many times from various real teachers including some teachers under Adam Mizner. I can even do it myself but not as nearly effectively yet as Sifu Mizner. For an EXTREMELY simplified idea about how this works, think of using your index finger to knock a bottle cap off a table and across the room. Which of the following methods would knock it further?
      !) You put the end of your thumb on the fingernail of the index finger making an O shape, push the thumb and finger against each other, stretching the fascia, line it up with the bottle cap and release.
      2) You curl your index finger, line it up with the bottle cap and straighten it as fast as you can with direct muscle contraction.

    Excellent taiji sovereignty! What concept of *political* sovereignty, though, is at work in your suggestion that any mandatory vax must be a violation of sovereignty? Usually political sovereignty hangs on the idea that citizens agree - explicitly or implicitly - to a system of political process and hence agree to “own” the outcome of that process, even if they don’t privately like it, so long as the process is running as it should. That’s why in the U.K., Australia, the U.S., India, and so on, citizens should admit that political sovereignty (and hence political liberty) is intact so long as process is legit, even when they don’t like the outcome, as with elections, tax policy, regulatory policy, health policy, and stuff like mandatory vaccinations for public schools. Is your view of political sovereignty different from this, Sensei, or do you hold that in no case of the mandatory vaxxing we experienced, in any country, was legitimate political process observed?

      @@monstertrucktennis Logical, but we seem to pick and choose our sovereignties. Many people didn’t want to get vaccinated for various reasons (some logical, some ridiculous), but those same people still cover their private bits in public because the government is telling them they must cover their private bits. We also tend to follow other laws because we accept that control in our lives.
