Love the conversion. I did something similar but only added carpet to the raiser. If I did again, I would do the whole room like you. Wish I could do carpet installation. You made it look pretty simple but I have no tools that you used. Great job!

Biggest question- do you ever miss your garage ? Cool finish and I wanna convert mine but sorta scared - have a 22x42

Haha! That's actually a great question! We don't miss the garage, but situation of course can be different for you! We did not really 'converted' it so technically we can transform it back pretty easily :-). We have a pretty long driveway to fit the cars so are okay!

Hello, Great Video - aligns with my project as well, I am also looking to convert my 2 car garage into a small living room/movie room. Few questions :) did you partition the garage or used the full? also, can you tell me how did you make the screen? did you use soundproofing as I am living in a condo-type home with shared walls? and pointers for ventilation and removing the garage smell (typical dust/warehouse)...

Glad that it aligns with your vision! I used the full garage as I used half for Movie theater seating and rest for game table. I put curtains all around to cover the garage door, some walls and "some" sound proofing. If you want to do proper sound proofing, you need to go beyond and use some sound barriers or sound absorbers. May be a good power wash can help with the garage smell? There is a cheap one available in Harborfrieght for $80-ish that I used.
