To add insult to injury, a weakened Kong was able to knock back, catch punches and there is even a statement saying that he physically overpowered mechagodzilla. A fresh Kong gets destroyed in a battle against a Godzilla not even at his full power. Full power Godzilla is implying g19, which is overkill.
I’d definitely say he could. Keep in mind that Godzilla never used his atomic breath once on MG, And as soon as Kongs axe got the power of Godzillas atomic breath it was practically over. And taking into account that Godzilla had just been travelling and fighting for around a day or two, I think a well rested Godzilla would probably be able to beat him.
You have a decent point but you forgot that kongs axe was supercharged but the damage on mg was concentrated on the spikes of the axe . Meaning it would pierce and cut but g21 beam wasn't concentrated enough to cut through. It would prob just knock back and hurt mech goji. If g21 beam was punch to stomach and kong axe charged like knife the knife would doo more damage. What I'm saying is g21 beam would do less damage to mg21 than kong 21 axe.

To play as the devil's advocate for a second, im glad to see Apex MechaGodzilla get some justice in regards to both statistics and general feats despite bejng operational for 10 minutes. Although there was one thing to consider about this fight on a more emotional level. Stated from the artbook, he was built as a mechanical doppleganger with skeletal features to send a primodial fear into Godzilla, which proved to work effectively through the fact he was clinging onto the side of a building, and Godzilla seeming pertrified and staggered, while heavily exhausted of energy. Either way, you handled the topic well, it was great

Gidorah was stronger than Godzilla. Godzilla only beat him because he got overcharged by a nuke. Then charged up further by mothra. He would of died otherwise. Also mecha g was designed to fully counter and kill Godzilla. Full stamina or not he still loses. And kong took out mecha g after him being double teamed and his circuits fried. Both mecha g and gidorah would have killed Godzilla if he hadn't of gotten help

In short: Yes, Godzilla can. I agree with this video. A point I wanna highlight is MG, while more agile, and having a super computer giving it the ability to adapt to Godzilla. MG's biggest weakness is the fact he's mechanical in nature. We see in GvK when Bernie Hayes alcohol is pored into MG's circuits, this causes the Mecha to short circuit and undergo lag. Which helped to give Kong the edge to put this behemoth down once and for all. While Godzilla cannot exploit this weakness, what Godzilla CAN do, is exploit MG's limited time it has while active. Let's remember MG burns through a SHIT ton of energy. While powered by the Hollow Earth energy, this energy isn't infinite. Eventually Mecha Godzilla will run out of power, and given how Godzilla can fight Kong for 12 hours, and patrol and keep other kaijus in check for months without rest. That would of been a good point if you hadn't considered the fact that both are trying to kill each other, there is no delaying a fight, Godzilla does not know that MG21 runs on a limited time span therefore he reasonably wont be exploiting that weakness, its like trying to fight a robot version of yourself and somehow thinking "if I prolong the battle enough, I'll win" meanwhile its literally killing you, not too strong of an argument. Also was it not stated that MG21 could of lasted the entire day? Not where that source was from but I remember seeing it, doesnt mean its valid but in no way do we know MG21's energy capacity is all I'm saying.

People do realize that durability doesn't deteriorate unless you take damage (and the most Goji took from Kong was that leg stab and the knockout, other than that, he took little to no dmg from Kong), ye sure he's tired but he should be able to take those hits just fine if you think he has good enough durability. These aren't just normal hits, they're fast, hard-hitting strikes propelled by rocket boosters, fueled with Hollow earth energy, coming from a titan made of literal metal. He's gonna get beaten to a pulp whether he starts fresh or not. Also in no way was it confirmed that he took that meteor impact head-on, otherwise, Shinomura, the titan literally next to him, would have been disintegrated. Shinomura literally got evaporated by a nuke and yet somehow survived an explosion more catastrophic, like where's the logic here. We only see the meteor pass by over them, we never see it hit him directly.

Going in fresh and if he spent 12 hours fighting the Mecha, even if he lost, the Mecha would be low on power and run out. Imagine legit wasting months of your energy, then recently fought Kong. Godzilla was extremely exhausted going into the fight with mg21, therefore if he went in fresh like this video purposes, Godzilla has the durability to outlast MG21. If MG21 has infinite energy, then a different story, but he doesn't. He's limited and will eventually run out of power and power down.

Even if the official weight for Mecha isnt a typo its absolute nonsense. His weak durability (in comparison to Godzilla) shows that it cant be more dense than Godzilla and thus it cant weight more or that much more since its height is similar.
Adam said he would have won the beam clash in his opinion, and that he was around half his atomic energy after the hollow earth scene AND the kong fights. That’s still over 1000x more powerful than Godzilla’s and as seen in the movie, that would make zero sense considering a weakened atomic breath was able to compete with the proton scream, before having more energy added to it

Personally, I think this is a 50/50 chance. Godzilla was exhausted by the hollow earth beam when he actually fought his mechanical doppelgänger. The Godzilla we’re talking about is 100% power Godzilla. Although he could win, Mechagodzilla has a shit load of power. He was literally made to destroy every titan and make humans rule the world. Mechagodzilla might be a little dumb though, as he is controlled by dumbass Kevin. Even after his controls were fried with alcohol for a little bit, he still fought like nothing happened. His hollow earth power is fucking powerful. I think this would either be a tie or Godzilla wins extreme diff.
Already I start to see several flaws within the points seeing as they're backed up by misinformation. The biggest section of misinformation used was definitely the argument about MG21's weight, being allegedly 600k, it was used as a point to be compared to both size and strength. Thing is he isn't 600k in the slightest, it makes sense logically and physically seeing as he was knocked back a bit by G21's charge despite him not being affected at all meanwhile G21 got dazed, who saw that coming. People do realize this is the same book that says his proton scream outputs an energy yield greater to that of the observable universe, people realize that right? So why on earth would people believe his inflated weight of 600K? This weight incosistency was spread throughout the roduction of GvK too, it wasnt just MG21 who had a typo in his weight. If I were to give him weight, personally I'd go lower that Goji by just a bit as he isnt as dense as G21 in terms of mass, doesnt make him light though.
Several other arguments gone wrong: - In terms of durability always keep this in mind between the 2, Mechagodzilla overall wins in terms of defence against physical attacks, Kong's axe which is more than likely more powerful than any physical attack Goji can dish out (keep in mind that hand held weapons double striking power, this is proven by science) did jackshit to MG21 other than create sparks, this is because MG21 is generally coated in hard, metallic armor, proven to be great against slashes and attacks involved with sharp edges. Can't quite determine how MG21 would fair against stabs or blunt attacks as the only 2 things proven to actually damage MG21 is G21's prolonged Atomic Breath (a hollow breath like attack would destroy him) and Kong's fully charged axe which is essentially a 1000 degree axe, this perfectly transitions into the next point which is that Godzilla overall wins in terms of defence against energy based/ high temperature based attacks, this is clearly proven by him taking hits from nukes, beams, and so on. Despite this, even just being merely hit by the Proton Scream is enough to clearly surpass his durability against energy based attacks, the Proton scream is probably the most powerful thing Goji has taken due to it being the only attack to ever show visible burn marks, and this is GOji being graced by the beam, he took head on for at least 2 seconds and his chest was already red hot, meanwhile a full charged Ghidorah firing beams from every direction only left small burn marks on Goji. In my honest opinon, Godzilla probably wouldnt last against a prolonged Proton Scream just like how Mechagodzilla cant last against a prolonged atomic breath. Also side note, calling MG21 pathetic over not being able to take the axe hits is just like bruh, G21 only took 1 hit and it was when Kong was striking at a terrible angle, I dont think people realize how much of a difference that strike would have been if Kong was standing up, it would of likely cut off Goji's arms seeing as it was able to pierce his skin unlike what fda said. Take note that the axe never hit his head other wise we would of seen a scar of sorts, its never shown to make direct contact with Goji's head, if it had made contact I dont think either of them would of been blown back, Godzilla got knocked out from the explosion that came from the axe, not the axe directly hitting his head.
More arguments: - Long range weaponry in mind, I'd say they're fairly equal in terms of beams as both have shown very similar feats, even if I'd say MG21 has shown better overall. Attack potentcy wise, both beams are rather equal in a sense that they both leave brun marks on adversaries with similar heat based durability, Godzilla with full power was apparently leaving burn marks on MZ who as stated had similar levels of durability to Goji himself, meanwhile Mg21 with his proton scream just gracing Goji for about 2 seconds was able to leave the most damage on Godzilla via an energy based attack, the Proton Scream, other than Goji's own atomic breath is by far the most powerful beam shown in the monsterverse. It's able to perform feats a kin to that of the atomic breath itse;f, being able to push Godzilla onto his back with ease, and keep in mind that he's on ground still being knocked back despite having his feet planted in the earth, this is important as we see that Godzilla was only able to knockback MZ because he was air borne, granted he was pushed off of the ground for the brief time but still, MZ isnt able to resist the power of the beam up until he regains stability and is able to plant his feet on the ground which ends up stopping himself into the ground. Again, even if the Proton scream has shown more power to it, I'd still consider them equal as the gap isnt all that wide. Tbh I wouldnt be surprised if the Proton Scream could do just about anything the atomic breath would do, a fully charged proton scream could probably replicate the hollow breath as both are on equal terms in terms of power and potentcy, it can knockback heavy ass titans just like the atomic breath, both are similar in so many ways that its unbearble to ignore. Also regarding the beam clash, do take note that it is specifically shown to the audience that Goji is charging up a breath meanwhile there doesn't seem to be any indication of Mechagodzilla doing so, this means the beam clash consisted of a beam though weak was fully charge against a poweful beam that in no way had time to charge and was just fired instantly, and if you argue "charging doesnt make a difference" then why the hell has it been done by both kaijus at different points in time on different ocassions, there's clearly a power differnece between a fully charged beam than an instant beam.

I'm ready to take fire for this since I know people are gonna meat ride Godzilla. And I will say this is based on facts, logic, and opinion when applied to dissecting the fight. So facts and Logic = What we know is true/cannon And my opinion = What I think is most likely to happen and or what I believe is most logical AND READ ALL THIS BEFORE BITCHING IN THE REPLIES. And also fda I will disagree with some points made, while I still think you had good intentions, they falls hort when actually facing the practicality of things. But I do respect ur take. But I will say regeneration should be a point considered. Especially since that regen in the monster on the G-Man is based on over time. If its just Godzilla and MG21 bro is NOT getting any breathing room whatsoever. Lets begin. 1. Godzilla was NOT toying with Kong. Godzilla was on a kill streak from the get-go. He was spamming that atomic breath cuz he was actively trying to kill Kong. Kong at his best and with more experience would smash Godzilla. Kong had to be an underdog for the story and we know that. Kong is inexperienced, has the odds stacked against him, and is not takin any W's strictly for the story alone in that particular movie. And if you think Godzilla is toying with him, may I need remind you; the first thing Godzilla does when meeting kong is try to drown, yes DROWN, kong first second he has. Hes also specifically trying to bite kongs face/skull for a quick and effective kill. Hes actively trying to kill King Kong. What you guys need to understand is Godzilla is not a human being. He doesnt scrap/ fight just so he can. Ff godzilla is pullin up to fight, the fight is ending when it ends and hes winning. He legit is just that strong and efficient at killing. My other point. He is a KILLER. People complain that a fight in the Monsterverse just never lasts long. It doesn't for a good reason. Now swing that back to Kong, hes what is essentially a "human" fighting a 200 ton Super Crocodile for the first time. He was not actively trying to kill Godzilla in the sense that Godzilla was trying to kill Kong. The ONLY reason why he jumped down the hole from hollow earth is because he felt the threat and challenge that Godzilla imposed after he blew his kingdom come into hollow earth. And when kong fights, he is genuinely just holding his own. He is being forced to fight godzilla by means of survival. And since he needs to survive he needs to fight and stop this fight. His motivation is, Hes discovered himself and his past, gains motivation, but now he has to face a part of his history right in front of him since now its a threat he can't ignore. Lets take a look at godzilla. The smoke seeker. Godzilla in the legendary universe is a force of nature. He is the embodiment of balance to the fall. If shit gets crazy hes there to solve it. So under the looming calls of an otherworldy entity that is giving the idea that something terrible may return, godzilla travels the world in search of it. This call coming from Mechagodzilla. But from another stand point he never understood the source. So any other alpha titan/ titan leader, would be seen as suspect and possible reason. So kong, and anyone on that list is catching the fade. Kong is looking to destress the situation and end a conflict by more "correct" means, while godzilla was locked in and trying his best to kill and put down Kong. Its CLEAR, godzilla had his every bit of tryhard on versus Kong figuring stuff out on the fly. 2. Godzilla may have a good day and beat mg21 but you forget Godzilla WOULD tire. MG21 does NOT. Key phrase. He will not give into exhaustion. I don't care about any points made in the possibilities. Godzilla in a ratio and based scenarios system; if we put him up against MG21 100 times, with a reset each time. Full power, full possibilities, full consideration of their strengths and weaknesses, no human, no plot. Godzilla would win based on options given a total of 20 times out of 100. Versus MG 21 winning by thought and demeanour of 50 out of 100. The rest of the scenarios are pushed to a draw, undecided, or simply just never-ending. Out of every fight that would take place, Godzilla is overwhelmed, overpowered by, overtaken, and genuinely dominated by MG21. As much of a G-Man fan I can be, especially Legendary Godzilla. I can't see nor emphasize enough to where he could win a fight against MG21. It doesn't help the fact that Kong is the only viable option in that movie against MG21, which I understand from a writer's standpoint it makes sense. But in power scaling it makes no sense what so ever. Power scaling in the Kajui community is very brain-dead and inconsistent. Every and I mean EVERY godzilla is planetary at best. Pushing their limits is gonna have to be left to whats been shown by the producers and writers. Not what they just blurt out or say in theory of a response. With that being said. Lets go over why Godzilla loses. With my number of battles won by Godzilla being 20/100 and MG21 being 50/100. There is a reason for these numbers. When it comes to the actual fights it would play out as such, and here's how I determined outcomes. BATTLE START: 1. Godzilla being the way he is is gonna try and skill check MG21 and rush at him to physically throw down. 2. After Godzilla is trying to be hand-to-hand/wrestle/handle and maul, he will soon realize MG21 is not only a better fighter, but he is also stronger and more endurant in contact-worthy hits. 3. Godzilla will either get knocked back or he will find a way to distance himself. He will start zoning MG21 or attempt to with his atomic breath. 4. A beam clash will play out since MG21 is described to mirror prior events and or intel and begin that beam clash and hold. 5. Since we are giving Godzilla his normal power and energy levels, therefor he is even. But MG21 is still looming in over pure power. 6. While the beam clash is occurring MG21 is going to rocket-check Godzilla and disorientate Godzilla and interrupt the beam clash 7. MG21 rushes in and begins to hash Godzilla with punches, kicks, and drags. 8. Godzilla will try to get up but he simply just can't. He's too large and too slow to simply get up quickly. 9. MG21 will back out with more damage and continuously attack and mercilessly prevent Godzilla from any advantage. ESPECIALLY since Kong isn't here to help out. 10. And then MG21 will at some point provide a finishing kill to end the battle and Godzilla. Now what I want you guys to understand is the branching point for this fight. Considering how Godzilla is consistent in his attack patterns. He's gonna follow the rules of this BASE scenario from steps 1 to 4. At step 4 that's where the infinite possibilities can come out. Because Godzilla himself has only one weapon that could properly be able to repel and hold back MG21 and that is his atomic breath. MG21 has from what I remember about 5 other things that could repel and hold back Godzilla. Those things are his power hand punches, his Ion Scream Laser thing whatever the name was, his rockets and other weapons, his rockets, and energy kicks. Its a night and day difference. And the 20/100 outcomes where Godzilla wins; I will list here. 20/100: 1. Godzilla Somehow gets enough time wot charge a beam so strong hes able to weaken MG21 and attack him with all he's got. 2. The humans interfere. (Even though it is a 1v1) 3. Another kajui with the right tools helps Godzilla. (Even tho its a 1v1) 4. Godzilla gets burning Godzilla form and uses it to help weaken MG21(Even tho he cant get help in a 1v1) 5. Godzilla fights Mecha in the water and traps him somewhere in the depths and condemns him forever to the infinite void of ocean as mg21 screams and watches as the world goes by. 6. Godzilla buries Godzilla somewhere by trapping him underground by blasting the earth or some shit. 7. Godzilla stalls and MG21 bugs out and shuts down by some random error. 8. Godzilla charges for like 2 hours and then MG21 so hard it malfunctions and shuts down. 9. Godzilla Bites something random Idk and it causes MG21 to lose oil or something. I seriously do not know. 10. Godzilla detonates the missiles while they are still loaded in MG21 11. MG21 somehow hits himself hard enough to kill himself. 12. MG21 falls and falls through the earth and can't escape the mantle. I'm really having to stretch these scenarios.💀 13. MG21 loses connection to the terminal 14. MG21 exhausts his energy by being to powerful. or over-exerting. 15. MG21 Overheats and explodes 16. MG21 overheats his energy and it becomes so hot it melts his entire body 17. MG21 moves a weird way while fighting and he jams his joints or circuits and slowly tears apart as he fights. 18. MG21 gets overtaken by the spirit of the Ghidorah and it psychotically tears himself apart 19. MG21 gains consciousness and just quits life 20. MG21runs out of battery after years of fighting or whatever Do you see how much of a stretch it is for Godzilla to win? Godzilla can reliably damage mg to the point it's fatal. MG21's 50/100 win ratio consists of him literally just killing Godzilla and being done with it. And most of them are him lasering him through his skull from the entrance of his mouth. I'm getting tired of typing here. So that is my take on how it goes. Godzilla is just not equipped enough, nor is he strong enough to take his own MG21. And yes he has crazy strength feats, but MG21 is just stronger and displays more consistent and unending strength. Versus Godzilla being able to tire out and not keep up. Not to mention he is fighting a version of himself that is the equivalent to YOU as a normal human fighting the Terminator with no way of defending yourself. Just straight carnage. But that's my point on the whole matter. It's not about what they done before or their prior strengths. Is the practicality. And actual logic and reasoning of the situation.

I have to disagree here Mechagodzilla actually lifted Godzilla when they ran at each other and Mecha dashed behind him and the Durability of Mechagodzilla is underrated Godzilla was knocked out by just the explosion while Kong was only sent flying (both are still more Durable than Kong) if you slow down the fight you can see the axe never made contact with Godzilla and if it did Godzilla would be dead Durability should be around equal and Mechagodzilla was not even at full power I would say Mechagodzilla wins mid-high diff
He definitely was at full power, and even if he wasn’t, he still had 2 amps, the Ghidorah taking control of the body, plus the hollow earth energy. And why he can pick up Godzilla, Godzilla still physically overpowered him, and it wasn’t a dash, there were no fire, boosts or rockets, and let’s say he did dash, that means he was trying to move out of the way because he couldn’t take the blow. He was cut up by half charged, the one that knocked out Godzilla never made contact with his head, but was fully charged to the point where it overcharged, it had been charging down in the hollow earth for a few minutes+ long ass atomic breath blasts, and the blast coming off of it when it overcharged only knocked him out for a few seconds, at most minutes, he survived it easily stabbing into his leg despite it having been charged by the atomic breath + Multiple minutes down in hollow earth, and it’s not like it came back and affected him in combat.

Yeah! Whenever I see this debate it’s always very short and I wanted to take a closer look at it. Analyze both sides’ strengths and weaknesses and ended up coming to the conclusion of Godzilla winning
One thing though, with durability. Godzilla can't do nothing against Mg's armor except using atomic breath. As scratches or any impacts would do nothing but stun or push mg back. Also, we can only expect his blade at the end of his can-do tons of damage. With the durability as Godzilla can't do nothing to damage Mecha Godzilla but use atomic breath. Experience should be about equal since we know that Godzilla and Ghidorah were both in many fights since ancient times, and even if you can argue that Godzilla is been in more fights before Ghidorah's arrival, who knows how many skull crawlers mech g has demolished in these testings. Also I'm pretty sure that modern fights don't even make up a fraction of what fights Godzilla has fought in his life. Also Godzilla hasn't got Ghidorah's ability to absorb energy from other titans at all, hes only charged up when external forces help him, like the bombs and mothra. But yes, if goji gets close mecha can only pray that he runs sway fast enough, cuz his energy punches can only do so much damage.

To add insult to injury, a weakened Kong was able to knock back, catch punches and there is even a statement saying that he physically overpowered mechagodzilla. I’d definitely say he could. Keep in mind that Godzilla never used his atomic breath once on MG, And as soon as Kongs axe got the power of Godzillas atomic breath it was practically over. And taking into account that Godzilla had just been travelling and fighting for around a day or two, I think a well rested Godzilla would probably be able to beat him.
You have a decent point but you forgot that kongs axe was supercharged but the damage on mg was concentrated on the spikes of the axe . Meaning it would pierce and cut but g21 beam wasn't concentrated enough to cut through. It would prob just knock back and hurt mech goji. If g21 beam was punch to stomach and kong axe charged like knife the knife would doo more damage. What I'm saying is g21 beam would do less damage to mg21 than kong 21 axe.

To play as the devil's advocate for a second, im glad to see Apex MechaGodzilla get some justice in regards to both statistics and general feats despite bejng operational for 10 minutes. Although there was one thing to consider about this fight on a more emotional level.

In short: Yes, Godzilla can. I agree with this video. A point I wanna highlight is MG, while more agile, and having a super computer giving it the ability to adapt to Godzilla. MG's biggest weakness is the fact he's mechanical in nature. We see in GvK when Bernie Hayes alcohol is pored into MG's circuits, this causes the Mecha to short circuit and undergo lag. Which helped to give Kong the edge to put this behemoth down once and for all. While Godzilla cannot exploit this weakness, what Godzilla CAN do, is exploit MG's limited time it has while active. Let's remember MG burns through a SHIT ton of energy. While powered by the Hollow Earth energy, this energy isn't infinite. Eventually Mecha Godzilla will run out of power, and given how Godzilla can fight Kong for 12 hours, and patrol and keep other kaijus in check for months without rest. The battle of attrition easily without a doubt goes to Godzilla. Great video, fda
That would of been a good point if you hadn't considered the fact that both are trying to kill each other, there is no delaying a fight, Godzilla does not know that MG21 runs on a limited time span therefore he reasonably wont be exploiting that weakness, its like trying to fight a robot version of yourself and somehow thinking "if I prolong the battle enough, I'll win" meanwhile its literally killing you, not too strong of an argument. Also was it not stated that MG21 could of lasted the entire day? People do realize that durability doesn't deteriorate unless you take damage (and the most Goji took from Kong was that leg stab and the knockout, other than that, he took little to no dmg from Kong), ye sure he's tired but he should be able to take those hits just fine if you think he has good enough durability. These aren't just normal hits, they're fast, hard-hitting strikes propelled by rocket boosters, fueled with Hollow earth energy, coming from a titan made of literal metal. He's gonna get beaten to a pulp whether he starts fresh or not.
Also in no way was it confirmed that he took that meteor impact head-on, otherwise, Shinomura, the titan literally next to him, would have been disintegrated. Shinomura literally got evaporated by a nuke and yet somehow survived an explosion more catastrophic, like where's the logic here. We only see the meteor pass by over them, we never see it hit him directly.

That’s still over 1000x more powerful than Godzilla’s and as seen in the movie, that would make zero sense considering a weakened atomic breath was able to compete with the proton scream, before having more energy added to it

Personally, I think this is a 50/50 chance. Godzilla was exhausted by the hollow earth beam when he actually fought his mechanical doppelgänger. The Godzilla we’re talking about is 100% power Godzilla. Although he could win, Mechagodzilla has a shit load of power. He was literally made to destroy every titan and make humans rule the world. Mechagodzilla might be a little dumb though, as he is controlled by dumbass Kevin. Even after his controls were fried with alcohol for a little bit, he still fought like nothing happened. Already I start to see several flaws within the points seeing as they're backed up by misinformation. The biggest section of misinformation used was definitely the argument about MG21's weight, being allegedly 600k, it was used as a point to be compared to both size and strength. Thing is he isn't 600k in the slightest, it makes sense logically and physically seeing as he was knocked back a bit by G21's charge despite him not being affected at all meanwhile G21 got dazed, who saw that coming. People do realize this is the same book that says his proton scream outputs an energy yield greater to that of the observable universe, people realize that right? So why on earth would people believe his inflated weight of 600K? This weight incosistency was spread throughout the roduction of GvK too, it wasnt just MG21 who had a typo in his weight. If I were to give him weight, personally I'd go lower that Goji by just a bit as he isnt as dense as G21 in terms of mass, doesnt make him light though.
Several other arguments gone wrong:
- In terms of durability always keep this in mind between the 2, Mechagodzilla overall wins in terms of defence against physical attacks, Kong's axe which is more than likely more powerful than any physical attack Goji can dish out (keep in mind that hand held weapons double striking power, this is proven by science) did jackshit to MG21 other than create sparks, this is because MG21 is generally coated in hard, metallic armor, proven to be great against slashes and attacks involved with sharp edges. Can't quite determine how MG21 would fair against stabs or blunt attacks as the only 2 things proven to actually damage MG21 is G21's prolonged Atomic Breath (a hollow breath like attack would destroy him) and Kong's fully charged axe which is essentially a 1000 degree axe, this perfectly transitions into the next point which is that Godzilla overall wins in terms of defence against energy based/ high temperature based attacks, this is clearly proven by him taking hits from nukes, beams, and so on. Despite this, even just being merely hit by the Proton Scream is enough to clearly surpass his durability against energy based attacks, the Proton scream is probably the most powerful thing Goji has taken due to it being the only attack to ever show visible burn marks, and this is GOji being graced by the beam, he took head on for at least 2 seconds and his chest was already red hot, meanwhile a full charged Ghidorah firing beams from every direction only left small burn marks on Goji. In my honest opinon, Godzilla probably wouldnt last against a prolonged Proton Scream just like how Mechagodzilla cant last against a prolonged atomic breath. Also side note, calling MG21 pathetic over not being able to take the axe hits is just like bruh, G21 only took 1 hit and it was when Kong was striking at a terrible angle, I dont think people realize how much of a difference that strike would have been if Kong was standing up, it would of likely cut off Goji's arms seeing as it was able to pierce his skin unlike what fda said. Take note that the axe never hit his head other wise we would of seen a scar of sorts, its never shown to make direct contact with Goji's head, if it had made contact I dont think either of them would of been blown back, Godzilla got knocked out from the explosion that came from the axe, not the axe directly hitting his head.
More arguments:
- Long range weaponry in mind, I'd say they're fairly equal in terms of beams as both have shown very similar feats, even if I'd say MG21 has shown better overall. Attack potentcy wise, both beams are rather equal in a sense that they both leave brun marks on adversaries with similar heat based durability, Godzilla with full power was apparently leaving burn marks on MZ who as stated had similar levels of durability to Goji himself, meanwhile Mg21 with his proton scream just gracing Goji for about 2 seconds was able to leave the most damage on Godzilla via an energy based attack, the Proton Scream, other than Goji's own atomic breath is by far the most powerful beam shown in the monsterverse. It's able to perform feats a kin to that of the atomic breath itse;f, being able to push Godzilla onto his back with ease, and keep in mind that he's on ground still being knocked back despite having his feet planted in the earth, this is important as we see that Godzilla was only able to knockback MZ because he was air borne, granted he was pushed off of the ground for the brief time but still, MZ isnt able to resist the power of the beam up until he regains stability and is able to plant his feet on the ground which ends up stopping himself into the ground. Again, even if the Proton scream has shown more power to it, I'd still consider them equal as the gap isnt all that wide. Tbh I wouldnt be surprised if the Proton Scream could do just about anything the atomic breath would do, a fully charged proton scream could probably replicate the hollow breath as both are on equal terms in terms of power and potentcy, it can knockback heavy ass titans just like the atomic breath, both are similar in so many ways that its unbearble to ignore. Also regarding the beam clash, do take note that it is specifically shown to the audience that Goji is charging up a breath meanwhile there doesn't seem to be any indication of Mechagodzilla doing so, this means the beam clash consisted of a beam though weak was fully charge against a poweful beam that in no way had time to charge and was just fired instantly, and if you argue "charging doesnt make a difference" then why the hell has it been done by both kaijus at different points in time on different ocassions, there's clearly a power differnece between a fully charged beam than an instant beam.
The axe did not touch Godzilla's head. It overloaded and exploded just before making contact.

I'm ready to take fire for this since I know people are gonna meat ride Godzilla. And I will say this is based on facts, logic, and opinion when applied to dissecting the fight.
So facts and Logic = What we know is true/cannon
And my opinion = What I think is most likely to happen and or what I believe is most logical
AND READ ALL THIS BEFORE BITCHING IN THE REPLIES.
And also fda I will disagree with some points made, while I still think you had good intentions, they falls hort when actually facing the practicality of things. But I do respect ur take. But I will say regeneration should be a point considered. Especially since that regen in the monster on the G-Man is based on over time. If its just Godzilla and MG21 bro is NOT getting any breathing room whatsoever.
Lets begin.
1. Godzilla was NOT toying with Kong. Godzilla was on a kill streak from the get-go. He was spamming that atomic breath cuz he was actively trying to kill Kong. Kong at his best and with more experience would smash Godzilla. Kong had to be an underdog for the story and we know that. Kong is inexperienced, has the odds stacked against him, and is not takin any W's strictly for the story alone in that particular movie. And if you think Godzilla is toying with him, may I need remind you; the first thing Godzilla does when meeting kong is try to drown, yes DROWN, kong first second he has. Hes also specifically trying to bite kongs face/skull for a quick and effective kill. Hes actively trying to kill King Kong. What you guys need to understand is Godzilla is not a human being. He doesnt scrap/ fight just so he can. Ff godzilla is pullin up to fight, the fight is ending when it ends and hes winning. He legit is just that strong and efficient at killing. My other point. He is a KILLER. People complain that a fight in the Monsterverse just never lasts long. It doesn't for a good reason.
Now swing that back to Kong, hes what is essentially a "human" fighting a 200 ton Super Crocodile for the first time.
He was not actively trying to kill Godzilla in the sense that Godzilla was trying to kill Kong. The ONLY reason why he jumped down the hole from hollow earth is because he felt the threat and challenge that Godzilla imposed after he blew his kingdom come into hollow earth. And when kong fights, he is genuinely just holding his own. He is being forced to fight godzilla by means of survival. And since he needs to survive he needs to fight and stop this fight. His motivation is, Hes discovered himself and his past, gains motivation, but now he has to face a part of his history right in front of him since now its a threat he can't ignore.
Lets take a look at godzilla. The smoke seeker. Godzilla in the legendary universe is a force of nature. He is the embodiment of balance to the fall. If shit gets crazy hes there to solve it. So under the looming calls of an otherworldy entity that is giving the idea that something terrible may return, godzilla travels the world in search of it. This call coming from Mechagodzilla. But from another stand point he never understood the source. So any other alpha titan/ titan leader, would be seen as suspect and possible reason. So kong, and anyone on that list is catching the fade. Kong is looking to destress the situation and end a conflict by more "correct" means, while godzilla was locked in and trying his best to kill and put down Kong. Its CLEAR, godzilla had his every bit of tryhard on versus Kong figuring stuff out on the fly.
2. Godzilla may have a good day and beat mg21 but you forget Godzilla WOULD tire. MG21 does NOT. Key phrase. He will not give into exhaustion. I don't care about any points made in the possibilities. Godzilla in a ratio and based scenarios system; if we put him up against MG21 100 times, with a reset each time. Full power, full possibilities, full consideration of their strengths and weaknesses, no human, no plot. Godzilla would win based on options given a total of 20 times out of 100. Versus MG 21 winning by thought and demeanour of 50 out of 100. The rest of the scenarios are pushed to a draw, undecided, or simply just never-ending.
Out of every fight that would take place, Godzilla is overwhelmed, overpowered by, overtaken, and genuinely dominated by MG21. As much of a G-Man fan I can be, especially Legendary Godzilla. I can't see nor emphasize enough to where he could win a fight against MG21.
It doesn't help the fact that Kong is the only viable option in that movie against MG21, which I understand from a writer's standpoint it makes sense. But in power scaling it makes no sense what so ever. Power scaling in the Kajui community is very brain-dead and inconsistent. Every and I mean EVERY godzilla is planetary at best. Pushing their limits is gonna have to be left to whats been shown by the producers and writers. Not what they just blurt out or say in theory of a response.
With that being said. Lets go over why Godzilla loses.
With my number of battles won by Godzilla being 20/100 and MG21 being 50/100. There is a reason for these numbers. When it comes to the actual fights it would play out as such, and here's how I determined outcomes.
BATTLE START:
1. Godzilla being the way he is is gonna try and skill check MG21 and rush at him to physically throw down.
2. After Godzilla is trying to be hand-to-hand/wrestle/handle and maul, he will soon realize MG21 is not only a better fighter, but he is also stronger and more endurant in contact-worthy hits.
3. Godzilla will either get knocked back or he will find a way to distance himself. He will start zoning MG21 or attempt to with his atomic breath.
4. A beam clash will play out since MG21 is described to mirror prior events and or intel and begin that beam clash and hold.
5. Since we are giving Godzilla his normal power and energy levels, therefor he is even. But MG21 is still looming in over pure power.
6. While the beam clash is occurring MG21 is going to rocket-check Godzilla and disorientate Godzilla and interrupt the beam clash
7. MG21 rushes in and begins to hash Godzilla with punches, kicks, and drags.
8. Godzilla will try to get up but he simply just can't. He's too large and too slow to simply get up quickly.
9. MG21 will back out with more damage and continuously attack and mercilessly prevent Godzilla from any advantage. ESPECIALLY since Kong isn't here to help out.
10. And then MG21 will at some point provide a finishing kill to end the battle and Godzilla.
Now what I want you guys to understand is the branching point for this fight. Considering how Godzilla is consistent in his attack patterns. He's gonna follow the rules of this BASE scenario from steps 1 to 4. At step 4 that's where the infinite possibilities can come out. Because Godzilla himself has only one weapon that could properly be able to repel and hold back MG21 and that is his atomic breath. MG21 has from what I remember about 5 other things that could repel and hold back Godzilla. Those things are his power hand punches, his Ion Scream Laser thing whatever the name was, his rockets and other weapons, his rockets, and energy kicks. Its a night and day difference. And the 20/100 outcomes where Godzilla wins; I will list here.
20/100:
1. Godzilla Somehow gets enough time wot charge a beam so strong hes able to weaken MG21 and attack him with all he's got.
2. The humans interfere. (Even though it is a 1v1)
3. Another kajui with the right tools helps Godzilla. (Even tho its a 1v1)
4. Godzilla gets burning Godzilla form and uses it to help weaken MG21(Even tho he cant get help in a 1v1)
5. Godzilla fights Mecha in the water and traps him somewhere in the depths and condemns him forever to the infinite void of ocean as mg21 screams and watches as the world goes by.
6. Godzilla buries Godzilla somewhere by trapping him underground by blasting the earth or some shit.
7. Godzilla stalls and MG21 bugs out and shuts down by some random error.
8. Godzilla charges for like 2 hours and then MG21 so hard it malfunctions and shuts down.
9. Godzilla Bites something random Idk and it causes MG21 to lose oil or something. I seriously do not know.
10. Godzilla detonates the missiles while they are still loaded in MG21
11. MG21 somehow hits himself hard enough to kill himself.
12. MG21 falls and falls through the earth and can't escape the mantle. I'm really having to stretch these scenarios.💀
13. MG21 loses connection to the terminal
14. MG21 exhausts his energy by being to powerful. or over-exerting.
15. MG21 Overheats and explodes
16. MG21 overheats his energy and it becomes so hot it melts his entire body
17. MG21 moves a weird way while fighting and he jams his joints or circuits and slowly tears apart as he fights.
18. MG21 gets overtaken by the spirit of the Ghidorah and it psychotically tears himself apart
19. MG21 gains consciousness and just quits life
20. MG21runs out of battery after years of fighting or whatever
Do you see how much of a stretch it is for Godzilla to win? Godzilla can reliably damage mg to the point it's fatal.
MG21's 50/100 win ratio consists of him literally just killing Godzilla and being done with it. And most of them are him lasering him through his skull from the entrance of his mouth.
I'm getting tired of typing here. So that is my take on how it goes. Godzilla is just not equipped enough, nor is he strong enough to take his own MG21. And yes he has crazy strength feats, but MG21 is just stronger and displays more consistent and unending strength. Versus Godzilla being able to tire out and not keep up. Not to mention he is fighting a version of himself that is the equivalent to YOU as a normal human fighting the Terminator with no way of defending yourself. Just straight carnage.
But that's my point on the whole matter. It's not about what they done before or their prior strengths. Is the practicality. And actual logic and reasoning of the situation.

I have to disagree here Mechagodzilla actually lifted Godzilla when they ran at each other and Mecha dashed behind him and the Durability of Mechagodzilla is underrated Godzilla was knocked out by just the explosion while Kong was only sent flying (both are still more Durable than Kong) if you slow down the fight you can see the axe never made contact with Godzilla and if it did Godzilla would be dead Durability should be around equal and Mechagodzilla was not even at full power I would say Mechagodzilla wins mid-high diff
He definitely was at full power, and even if he wasn’t, he still had 2 amps, the Ghidorah taking control of the body, plus the hollow earth energy. And why he can pick up Godzilla, Godzilla still physically overpowered him, and it wasn’t a dash, there were no fire, boosts or rockets, and let’s say he did dash, that means he was trying to move out of the way because he couldn’t take the blow. He was cut up by half charged, the one that knocked out Godzilla never made contact with his head, but was fully charged to the point where it overcharged, it had been charging down in the hollow earth for a few minutes+ long ass atomic breath blasts, and the blast coming off of it when it overcharged only knocked him out for a few seconds, at most minutes, he survived it easily stabbing into his leg despite it having been charged by the atomic breath + Multiple minutes down in hollow earth, and it’s not like it came back and affected him in combat.

Finally someone making a good case for why Godzilla wins this, most people were just looking at Godzilla getting beat up by MG and took it at face value without taking in the context of him being exhausted.
Yeah! Whenever I see this debate it’s always very short and I wanted to take a closer look at it. Analyze both sides’ strengths and weaknesses and ended up coming to the conclusion of Godzilla winning
One thing though, with durability. Godzilla can't do nothing against Mg's armor except using atomic breath. As scratches or any impacts would do nothing but stun or push mg back. Also, we can only expect his blade at the end of his can-do tons of damage. With the durability as Godzilla can't do nothing to damage Mecha Godzilla but use atomic breath. That can definitely make Godzilla's strength useless in a fight. @@Officialfda
Kongs charged axe also had less impact radius to hit. making it easier to break through Mechagodzillas armor. As for Godzilla, there's a huge impact area that makes it harder to get through.@@Officialfda

8:55 yes, while mecha g is faster with rocket propel, i think something worth mention is that when godzilla was fully charged, he ran so fast that when he collided with ghidorah (who was going around the same speed) they clashed so hard that there was shockwaves.

Experience should be about equal since we know that Godzilla and Ghidorah were both in many fights since ancient times, and even if you can argue that Godzilla is been in more fights before Ghidorah's arrival, who knows how many skull crawlers mech g has demolished in these testings.
Also I'm pretty sure that modern fights don't even make up a fraction of what fights Godzilla has fought in his life.
Also Godzilla hasn't got Ghidorah's ability to absorb energy from other titans at all, hes only charged up when external forces help him, like the bombs and mothra.
But yes, if goji gets close mecha can only pray that he runs sway fast enough, cuz his energy punches can only do so much damage.
