- The most ferocious and terrifying dinosaur in all of the Jurassic franchise, the Indominus Rex, visits the skull island in the 2005 Kong film. WIth her hybrid nature and heavily packed genetic code, does she have what it takes to survive? Let's find out!

What did you guys think of the result? Did you like the style of video? Wanted to differentiate it from the traditional bracket style yk.
Indominus Rex is awesome! Let me know if you want more JURASSIC content :D
fda can you do male muto vs kong from gxk
You seemed to have underrated the V Rex, the ones in the film were inbred, a healthy V Rex would have killed the Indominus, and how you used Rexy as an example for a fight is quite inaccurate, everything Rexy has, V Rex is better except intelligence. The last V Rex King Kong fought fell off a cliff and got half a dozen punches to the face. That and gunfire (although not being as strong as modern guns) were completely unaffected by them and just made them angrier, they are very resilient to pain and have really good endurance. For an Inbred V Rex, it's prob 50/50 head on, but a healthy V Rex would destroy the Indominus
You forgot something fda the V rex weight is 45 tons and rexy weight is about 7 to 10 tons so indominus Rex is not knocking over a 45 ton dinosaur and the size difference is crazy big
@@ashleyjones2459 since when weight matter ?
For example
Mecha Godzilla is 605000
Godzilla is just 100000
Which mean mecha is litterlly ×5 times Godzilla weight
And Godzilla was able to push him back
Not trying to compare Godzilla with indo
But it's just height and weight dosen't matter sometimes
Having cuddle fish DNA does not make you a good swimmer as you can see the indom has no aquatic features also there is no saying when she will adapt to this new environment.
One quick correction, having cuttlefish DNA doesn't make the I-Rex a good swimmer, at all. She has zero aquatic traits
Good point
That is true
It's a hypothetical, we've never seen the indominus swim due to obviously.....
The t-rex, which is the base genome of the indominus, was an actual great swimmer in real life, assuming that converted over to the jurassic franchise, adding cuddlefish DNA should port over some extra traits.
It's just a "theory" or "hypothetical"
It only gave her camouflage
@@Officialfdaseeing how mosa just yanked the indom yeah no the indom can’t swim sadly
Even though the monsterverse skull island has bigger creatures, pj’s skull island is way more terrifying
Cuz it's more realistic and bugs...
@@GreenBarsArchivesdid you say pj’s skull island is more realistic?!
@@positivity-matters Can't you read? I did.
@@GreenBarsArchives First of all, excuse you, sorry I was just curious enough to ask a question, no need for hostility 😒. And also how is it more realistic?
@@GreenBarsArchives Damn bro, don't kill him like that. He was just asking XD
Okay, minor correction due to the sauropod slander but the Skull Island brontos are very different from the fossil ones as the Skull Island brontos have a proportionally shorter tail and are stated to measure over 100 feet long, being larger than any of the Jurassic franchise sauropods except the Dreadnoughtus and the Skull Island brontos are stated to actually fight back against Vrexes but run from Venatosaurs due to the Venatosaurs using surprise and numbers to spook the younger members of the herd causing the adults to follow. Just wanted to add this info because so often sauropods are treated like just a walking steak by vs match ups and pop culture media even though the closest living land comparison to them are elephants and giraffes which readily turn violent when threatened.
Correction: the v rexs are much, and I mean much stronger than regular t Rex’s. V rexs had much stronger bite forces at 8-9 tons while a regular rex would likely have 6-7 tons. They are also way more fast and agile to adapt to the ecosystem and terrain of skull island, I mean come on watch the movie and see that these things are agile as hell. They also weigh more than rexs and are clearly way more durable shown by them taking a beating from King Kong and walking it off. A vrex would beat the irex from the movie but you can debate for a fully grown Indom to win
The I-rex is also smaller at 40 feet long and 20 feet tall while a V-rex is 25 feet tall and 50 feet long
Actually a real rex would weigh around 9-11 tons 🤓☝️
9 ton bite force but cant even draw blood to monkey skin that got pierced by bullets easily
@@Bradley-xp2nl
Those same bullets targeted Kong’s soft spots I.e. his chest and belly. This is like saying crocodile hide isn’t tough because the belly is soft.
Most of the agility feats I've heard people attribute to the v rex are ones actually performed by the venatosaurus.
Couple things worth noting...
Vrexes don't have gastralia like trexes do. This makes them more flexible but also makes the belly a soft target. Indom can exploit this weakness with her sharp claws in a fight and is likely to learn about it after enough vrex encounters
Against Kong, indom's unhinging jaw, IQ, and long arms would be hard counters to the tactics he uses against the vrexes. Her jaw, between its flexibility and durability, would be near impossible to break, and her arms would still be a threat while attempting to do so. Trying to grab indoms arms creates a reversed situation where the jaws are an unchecked weapon. Indom would prove especially dangerous in a jungle, where camo could be used for hit-and-runs. Even a battle with Kong is unlikely to be fatal for indom
Kong vs Indom has 2 results: indom dies or indom gets battered and retreats
@@LewisZilla indom forcing a retreat or taking kong down is entirely possible, especially since this is not a cage match but them openly existing on the island. Indom can ambush, communicate with other dinosaurs native to the island, etc
@@xenodragon77 While I do agree with most of what you said, I highly doubt the Indominus Rex would be able to communicate with any of the dinosaurs on skull island, as I'm pretty sure the ability to communicate with other dinosaurs is exclusive to dinosaurs that are actually part of it's DNA. The only reason she was able to communicate with the Raptor Squad in Jurassic World, aswell as Toro the Carnotaurus in Camp Cretaceous is only because the Indominus Rex has both Velociraptor and Carnotaurus as part of her DNA. But last time I checked skull island doesn't have any dinosaurs or other creatures that are part of the Indominus Rex's DNA.
@@TheStupidBirdI never understood that in the movie, animals irl can communicate with between different species just fine, they don’t have to have each others dna 🧬 to do it. Why did they feel the need to put that in?
@@spideyfanw1748 Ok, maybe it can communicate with different species to some extent, albeit mostly just through body language and maybe the overall *_tone_* of its roars and other noises to let other creatures know if it's aggressive or playful or whether or not it's a threat, or something along those lines (as is probably the case with most IRL animals communicating between different species aswell). But the point is it wouldn't be nearly to the same extent to how it communicates with like Velociraptors and Carnotauruses and possibly even other dinosaurus that are part of its DNA, where it basically communicates to them and commands them in their own language or what ever.
0:08 Me personally I’d rather fight giant bugs than watch The Acolyte
Yessss
I feel like Indom would give Kong much harder time cuz King had experience with V-Rexes, her longer arms and abilities will give her a big advantage, but both aren’t ordinary specimen
Indominus Rex it's pretty badass
The V-rexs are relatively equal to the indo-rex
While they lack the thermal vision and camouflage they still possess great strength and speed and reasonably good intelligence since it takes reasonable intelligence to fight with a group
You’re right though the indo-rex could still beat one of these evolved T-rexs but in a group indie stands no chance
I don’t thing the indom would be able to swim very well. Considering its anatomy it would at most be able to doggy paddle. If the animal had shorted legs and a thicker more muscular tail then it will be easier for her to swim. I don’t think gaining the dna of an aquatic animal will give the indom the ability to swim unless they went through regress training. The fights with the piranhadon will likely be in the fish’s favor but the indom can still win if it learns enough from its opponent and or the water is shallow enough.
Well the Piranhadon I'm pretty sure do beach themselves so that small animals can clean their teeth, so I Rex could exploit that to ambush the fish when its in a vulnerable position.
Bro imagine the indominus falling into that bug pit and then getting swarmed by a bunch of bugs 💀
Nah she would have a broken leg after the fall and might get eaten from the inside out from the insects or more grousom the carnictus .
Remember when he deleted the original live stream? Lol
She could communicate with the raptors on the island
Nope. Those aren’t normal velociraptors
I feel like that would be speaking Italian to Chinese speaking people.
Yes I believe so if anything they would be an alpha predator of skull island. King kongs greatest rivial.
king kong and v-rex, i-rex?
3:13 is a CLEAN 🧼 transition
Yes she would, she would decimate everything on it 😭
I think we can also add her reproduction as a factor. IIRC, dinosaurs made in Jurassic Park has a capacity to reproduce with needing to mate
The Indominus Rex could swim given the T-Rex DNA as you said in a comment. Not sure about underwater swimming since no sight of gills. The thing is the Indominus Rex isn't fully grown in Jurassic World. In theory she could reproduce asexually given the pit viper DNA.
5:43 At least SOMEONE managed to point that out. The animal kingdom in general does gamble around the age of the animal. You're either young and inexperienced but super strong and/or fast, or you become old, wiser then your youth, but might get weaker and slower.
Someone actually animated a Kong VS IndoRex fight in 3D and it went as much as you would expect it to.
Both combatants being smart and strong, practically a tug of war on who'll be the victor but of course Kong gets the win due to his overall experience and mobility.
EDIT: It was by Iklass MJ and I highly recommend watching it.
I was like five hundred squad came out and I remember seeing cinemas with my mum's daddy so fun
Indomise would talk to the raptors and start jumping people
The V-Rex is also way more agile, and far stronger than the T-Rex. Without an ambush, it's possible the Indominus would lose a 1v1
Could the Indominus survive Ark
Hell no ☠️
@@Chewi155 Level 1 million moro's indominus would beg to differ

Could juvinile skyllcrawler survive JP or 2005 Skull island
Yes I can watch this now
Yes you can watch this now
While this is an overall W I'm a bit unsure about the V-rex, sure Indom did quite well against Rexy and while the V-rex's are better in numbers I feel maybe one V-rex would be enough to defeat Indom due to it being an evolved T.rex and being generally more experienced.
Now I’m thinking about it Kong would probably have to step in. because the indominus Rex would most likely kill for sport on the island.
So then Kong either realizing or doesn’t care. Kong would realize there’s not a lot of dinosaurs around anymore. the only thing that rams the island are V Rex. so Kong would be pissed and probably have to fight Indominus Rex for correction. on the island so the island predators don’t starve to death, including him.
Nice video can you do a video which is can A V-rex survive on Isla nublar
also is indominus your favourite dino in jw because she is
would she survive, YES would it be tough as hell, YES it will not be easy
It's most likely that the indom can't Swim because it's not shaped like a cuttlefish, so it can't swim like a cutterfish. See, my Point
other factor to add in, v rex where social, so what happens if the indo attempts communications?
This was awesome! Great video, also have a skull island what if idea. What if the ark rex or spino was in joe devitos skull island, where Gaw the 70 foot mega evolved dromaeosaur with thumbs and larger and stronger than an adult indominus Rex and vrex and can use tools like kong, and is the largest apex carnivore.
Yeah my dream came true

Here's an idea for a next video: can godzilla the series's godzilla/zilla jr survive on the monsterverse skull island

The theri DNA was for the claws
Awesome video FDA
THE T REX IS YOUR FAVOURITE!!!???? OMG SAME DUDE SAAMMMEE

I absolutely disagree considering Indom has better feats of strength, battle iq and and all other categories she clearly takes. The v rexes are absolutely featless and have wall level durability
Great video
Both movies traumatized me as a kid
The good question is can skullcrawlwr survive this skull island not ramarack. Let’s put like 5 juveniles into it. I assume skull crawler would just damage the ecosystem a lot since these creature are always hungry and have to eat non-stop.
Honestly the only threat to the indominus would be a pack of v rexes or kong
I wonder what would happen if she didn't kill her sibling.
Indom does not have any semi aquatic traits and although tyrannosaurs can swim they’re actually terrible at it compared to semi aquatic and marine species. She lacks webbed feet and flat tail. The large arms also make it more difficult to keep its head and nostrils above water. It can swim short distances but definitely does not have much of a fighting chance in deep water. As for the other species in skull island bear in mind everything in skull island has not only survived the mass extinction but also continued to evolve past it. The ceratopsians dromeosaurs and theropods in skull island are roughly twice the size of their extinct real life ancestors. So not only size but physical adaptations are more advanced. The ceratopsians in skull island have grown not only larger but also more aggressive and faster and hence why V-Rex’s have additional features that real life tyrannosaurs lacked other than being much larger alone they have tougher armor stronger bite force faster etc…
please do Could Godzillasaurus survive peter jacksons skull island pleaseee
2:38 lip broke through the glass not the metal
Kiryu do kiryu vs evengeleion next weak
Cuddlefish dna doesn’t make it able to swim any faster, it’s still a terrestrial dinosaur not a aquatic one
this is so cool
Did you forget about the skull crawlers?
Can you do the High Feral Dragon from the game Dragon City vs Skull Island? (Absolutely unfair)
Indominus hadnle a V-rex? Until the fact was kick in, that the Bull V-rerx was about 3 times as heavy as an Indominus rex, (Or maybe twice as heavy as an adult Indom). And size is matter, anything you all say.
Can you do can irex survive garten of banban 7
Sorry to sound like a nerd but actually the indominus is a female.
Guys did know that In skull island there is Titan creature so indominus rex isnt so big as the Skull island dinosaur cause the Titan is 100X times bigger than indominus and other dinosaur
We're not on monsterverse island...the only larger creatures that could pose a problem are the V-rex and Kong.
quick answer: no
The indominus has carnotaurus dna just pointing it out
Now would the ark giga survive Peter Jackson’s skull island?

Brontosaurus and apatosaurus are the same dinosaurs, it was a mistake in palaeontology. Just letting you know :)
Brontosaurus has been it's own species since 2016
What about the ultima saurus
If you see this comment do you think you can do a real life trex vs a adult I rex
A long while ago I saw someone theorize that the indom also has some human dna
I think that the indominus rex 2.0 will fare better against Kong, and perhaps even win Kong.
a queen is not weaker Xd
Just a little biology for you
Acolyte jump scare at the start, Skip ten seconds
but kong is the MAIN CHARACTER and the indominus is an ANTAGONIST so kong has some advantage right
V-rex DESTROYS I-rex. It's larger, heavier, has a more powerful bite. Hold up, vrex weighs 50% more AT LEAST according to google
Not Even A Question.
The Indominus has a chance against Kong, because there is a creature on Skull Island that you did not consider, the Venatosaurus (Raptors), as already seen in Jurassic World, the Indominus Rex is capable of Making a pack of Raptors Its own, so, there is no which is why she cannot do the same with the venatosaurus.
As seen in King Kong 2006, Kong has a hard time aiming at small targets, like the Terapusmordax (the Bats), so if the Indominus plays her cards right, she could use the Venatosaurus as a distraction while she overwhelms Kong with a multitude of claws and bites, so it is possible that the indominus could beat King Kong
Alone no? With a pack of raptors unlikely, these raptors on skull island would be far more aggressive, they’re not trained to follow commands like the raptor pack in jw. They don’t listen to other dinosaurs, they’re also evolved versions so they probably wouldn’t understand Indominus. The vrexs would probably go for her, as she makes more noise and looks like a bigger threat compared to Kong who keeps to his own. So she’d be a main target for the vrexs, and she’d quickly find out these guys have a lot of stamina, endurance and agility, while still being a lot heavier. A single vrex would give her a hard time. Max the females are apparently 20 tons. That’s double the weight of the adult indominus, the current one is 8 tons..
Great video. Indominus would beat Kong though in an accurate fight. Silverbacks lose to smaller big cats like leopards every time. Why would it win against an larger bird like lizard?
Said Silverback has already manhandled 3 leopards with one hand, he's not stupid enough to fall for her tricks either.
@@LewisZilla That how fiction works. In real life this would much different. Also the V Rex would be closer to a grizzly in comparison to Kong.
In real life one V Rex alone would killed Kong.
@@TheGabberman9000 I think you severely underestimate primate strength, Kong isn't as sensitive or fearful as silverbacks are, if a grown male Gorilla turned around and decoded it no longer feared the Leopard do you believe it still loses? With its superior strength and equal bite force?
@@LewisZilla Does a silverback have more superior strength though? I mean Leopards sure lift heavy when climbing on trees with killed prey.
Tbh if sliver backs were fearless they would mid diff leopards, I heard a guy killed a leopard with his bare hands but it was a sneak attack from the man so...

male muto vs kong from gxk for video please
I have 3 things to say
1 rexys bite is made to be way weaker then the real life rex cus it looks scarie
2 rexys weights way less then the real rex
3 the v rex only focused to kill the women and not kong
To me a V. Rex would be an even match to the indom, by my pardon
Just out of curiosity, but if Indom fell into the bug pit, would she kill them all? 🤔
Also, bugs…so nasty 🤢
Well she’d die from the fall due to her greater mass and the gravity being exerted on her body.
Do mighty Joe young 1998
Its King Kong on this island
But can she survive the bug canyon
The V-rex would topple the indom. because the v-rex weighs 20 tons, the indominus rex would definitely stop at the v-rex. It could probably injure or kill the juvenile ones, but the adults would trash indom around. I feel like people give the indom too much credit when it comes to these types of matchups, the indom cleary isn't that strong. It's basically like the skullcrawler vs indominus rex matchup all over again. Like, all the skullcrawler needs to do is just jump on indom and stay there until she dies because of getting her bones crushed. Anyways, the v-rex would topple the indominus rex and step on it. Which would, once again. Crush the indom

Timeline: 2015 (before Indom was killed)
V rex slams the verse tbh
Apart from the mosa
In my opinion, she could become one of the dominant predators, being more stealthy and intelligent than the V Rexes, and if she ambushes an adult one, she will surely be able to defeat him, but if there are several of them, she is dead, and King Kong obviously beats her, so the best thing she can do is keep stealthily hunting everything she find, until she probably leave the other predators on the island without prey, and force them to kill each other because of hunger, or something like that, and while she don´t enter King Kong's territory, she will be fine.
Doesn't she weigh 9 tons and the v rex weighs like 20, that's a pretty big difference
Eventually their paths would cross due to Indy’s nature driving her to hunt anything it can for sport and Kong really would not like her messing things up at his island.
@@davidperry511no, the v rex isnt 20 rhats fanmade
@thedinohunter212 still much much larger than the indominus rex
@@davidperry511 no? Its the same length and height
I say that there are far more threats to the I-rex than what you displayed. In the book World of Kong there are many more species that could pose a challenge, like Asperdorsus a sauropod with spines on the top and bottom of their neck, tail, and spine. Numerous invertebrates with various venom cause her forest preferable terrain to be dangerous. Also no signs of swimming abilities were shown, so large waterways are a threat. But the major killer would actually be the dozens of parasites and disease carrying insects that would bring her low.
I Actually Really like this style of video, because it really is a it depends question, rather than a yes or no, The Irex would have a pretty good chance surviving on this island, thx 4 the awesome video
8:24 Irex be Playing Chess Though
Idk abt the swimming part really, against the piranhadon it could likely go either way tho i do think the piranhadon is a better aquatic fighter.
Against the v rexes, indom is cooked pretty much. She could take down an average sized v rex but an adult would likely kill her
And king kong, yeah, hes got a lot of experience from fighting the v rexes that indom isnt standing a chance tbh.
Other than these, indom should likely be able to survive skull island fairly easily unless it gives into it's desire to kill for sport and start taking on the v rexes or kong himself. And if shes staying away from the horns of the ceratopsian and getting stomped by the bronto.
