Just curious: is anyone else here not at all impressed by the ME's testimony and professionalism? He doesn't measure the depth of knife/stab wounds? He doesn't make note of angles or directions of wounds? I mean, c'mon! He's also not too detailed in his answer to questions; almost as if he's just a spectator at an autopsy.

His description of the effects of a punctured lung were sinfully incomplete and his statement about the inability to determine or form an opinion, as to the order in which the wounds were inflicted is ridiculous. You can most certainly compare the deeper soft tissue surrounding the wounds and speculate the order of events based upon the amount of blood that had accumulated in the soft tissue before the point of death. 14 years in school and this guy can't even bring himself to care about this victim enough to expound upon statements that could be confusing to the jurors. the thing is you measure the knife wounds to see what kind of knife it was that did it and another thing this was obviously not natural causes as you could tell when you got her, and you would know if you investigated good enough if the tape was Loose, a little tight or very tight, extremely!! , and I thought there is a scientific way to find if they were stabbed or suffocated first what came first. 38:38 question and answer so wouldn't you be able to tell by the blood evidence amount if she was first suffocating because if she was suffocating first wouldn't there be less blood out of the body???? Belly Dancer, I so agree. The camera/audio issues with this channel's presentation of some trial coverage is abysmal more often than not. Very unprofessional and amateurish. However, I'm not aware of too many alternatives; ScalesofJustice are no better with the audio: whenever I listen to the latter, it always sounds as if there are a herd of Elephants dancing up and down the court hallways, very often overriding the narrative, and it's also stressful to listen to for any length of time.
It really has nothing to do with Law & Crime or their equipment. It’s the equipment that is in the courtroom that has poor quality. They are given access to the audio feed from the court, not from their own mics. And when they do place mics around the courtroom people complain about hearing coughing in the gallery or jury box...it’s a no win situation.🤷🏻♀️

It's either Law and Crime Network or the court that doesn't want to show the autopsy pic's. If you check on youtube you can get videos that show actual autopsies.
Autopsy pictures are way too personal and graphic to be broadcasted. The point is to allow the public to follow the case. The point is not to further take away the victim's dignity by showing full pictures of her outsides and insides to people that don't absolutely have to be seeing it. She was a real person with a real family. Please respect that.

I think that was because of the duct tape on her. She could still breathe when he stabbed her. So he's not able to say which one killed her. Because she could have bled to death before she suffocated or suffocated before she bled to death.

Judges have a WIDE range of discretion. All judges do things a bit differently yet still within the law.

Due to the state of decomposition he did state there was no blood in the body. That poor woman suffered horribly, we do know that unfortunately...

I think it’s a Law & Crime policy not to show them and in many cases the judge also orders that they not be broadcast or disseminated in any way.
