This is the same attorney that did the opening argument. She has done an excellent job in both opening and closing...where was she when the POS was on the stand? One hell of a job lady..strong powerful woman lead by example ladies...👏👏👏👏👏
The rebuttal argument was compelling. That attorney has a bright future. She was so engaging, clear, metered, detailed and never boring. His words came back to haunt him as she wove them in at the end. Stellar.
CREATURE IS A PSYCHOPATH. Let it never see the light of day again. Stop giving these creatures another chance. He had 6 felonies. If he had stopped being given chances, this poor woman would still be alive. At least not brutally murdered on her grandchild's birthday.
Gets me thinking...... how different the legal and penal system would be if prior history would come into play. With "thought crime" on the horizon; could you imagine a jury having full knowledge of one's criminal history and character? If only they knew he actually did a dry-run on his own father years past.
What the hell did he say when he objected. Dude. I am sorry you have a speech problem. But you freaking have a speech problem. Address it better than you have. You made the choice to speak for a living.
Probably don't care since you commented 2 yrs ago, but at 22:35 the defence said 'Objection - Burden Shifting' (meaning prosecution must prove guilty, defence does not have to prove innocence)
14:00 prosecutor states that there was a carjacking. As far as I know, carjacking is a “chance crime” (i.e. not premeditated) whereby the car is in possession of person (i.e. in the car, not necessarily the driver), and stolen from the owner. Hijacking and theft are different... Since that both defendant and victim were in the house whereby keys are stolen in a premeditated way, shouldnt it be “car theft”. There is a pretty big difference in my opinion. Another point I do not agree with that premeditation in a murder can be proven by the number of stabs. In that reasoning, what about all these police “incidents” where a cop fired multiple times on a suspect whereby a cop is almost never charged since it was never planned. In this prosecutors reasoning, these incidents should all be regarded premeditated... My opinion. This person is guilty of premeditated murder. But why?! Because he is a “product” of the prison system. Defendant was made a murderr by what he experienced in the prison system. 19 years of solitary confinement... The corrections system doesnt correct inmates. It isnt called gladiator school for nothing by certain criminals.
We all have hardships in life. We don't all go out and murder innocent victims and justify it by saying, "Oh poor me, I'm so victimized or I'm so angry, I'm going to make someone PAY!" Like HE said and like HE DID.
Ha ha nineteen years of solitarily confinement! He spent a while in segregation block not confined to a cell . You could not get him out of there , in that place you get to come out of your cell including having a job , church and programmes but Mr poor me Nelson longest job lasted 6 days because he didn't want to work.... If your going to write such crap get it correct
23:33 implementations of her death? not to be nit picking a smooth rebuttal, even english as second language speakers know its implents of death and using them is implementation not the plural implementation..
Excellent prosecution very impressed 👏 this young lady will go far well done 👏 ✔ 👍

Barbara Nelen most definitely! 🙌
She's very good isn't she? I've admired her throughout this trial. Very good both on the law itself and as an extremely compelling speaker.
Amen Sister!

Wow, she is amazing!
She did an excellent job wrapping this up.

She is good.!
And I like the judge. The non-creepy pragmatic uncle we never had.
This prosecutor is amazing! I love when she said that “he didn’t expect Jennifer to be stronger than him” you know that one killed him!
Best way to avoid the death penalty..... ask for it! 😂😂
“The blood pizza”
Why can’t we see these live streams this week?

Gotta say it, that was a stellar rebuttal - near perfect.

Defendant is a psychopath. He made himself a murderer. The "system" did not do it. HE did it. Stop making excuses for this vile, heartless creature.

What police officer do you know who shoots 5 times, the TURNS THE VICTIM OVER, and shoots again, two more times??
I can’t find the sentencing part of the video. What did Scott Nelson get,,,,life or death?
