8:37 Minor correction here, but wouldn't it be six Treasures? The Grim Hireling and the Pick both trigger twice, yeah? EDIT and spoiler: ...guess it didn't matter.
Since permanents phase in BEFORE a player untaps, why does king of oathbreaker’s trigger wait until upkeep to be put onto the stack? I had assumed that the untap step worked similarly to cleanup step in that no player naturally has priority, but if something happens that would trigger an ability, the trigger is still put onto the stack right then and a round of priority would be forced into being.
502.4. No player receives priority during the untap step, so no spells can be cast or resolve and no abilities can be activated or resolve. Any ability that triggers during this step will be held until the next time a player would receive priority, which is usually during the upkeep step. (See rule 503, “Upkeep Step.”)
So I’ve been in a few arguments about what phases out king of the oath breakers and everyone keeps telling me if it don’t say target in the text it will not trigger king of the oath breaker so how does remedy phase them all out?
@@DarkEinherjar Right I get that, but the "one or more creatures" part of the text means that it doesn't trigger for each creature individually, or with how much damage was dealt. That means you still get two treasures doubled to four, but you would have to hit a different player to get another four right?
I cannot tell you how devastated I am that he is saying "Maximus Draws" and not "Max MisDraws". I thought this was a running but I was just mishearing it!
I often notice that the players are really vindictive against Andrew whenever he does anything lol. Beast Within the commander? Get all these tokens aimed at you. Some games it's more obvious than others. I sometimes wonder how the games play out and how the players react to some of the actions. There have been games where it felt like they had a vendetta against him lol
A minute after Ian goes for a play that could one-shot a player or two, Andrew responds the correct way, so of course Ian alls-in against Andrew even though the others are as threatening or more lol. I feel like we're seeing a rare case where a player's win-rate might improve if he removed removals from his deck.
I hate playing with spiteful people like Ian. The entire table at 25+ health and oh no, he countered my spell so now I have to be vindictive and get him off the table lmao cry more. I stopped playing with people like Ian. GG everyone else, just sucks he can't have fun and enjoy the game and have viewers enjoy as well. Thanks for the video and effort though, Andrew. Love the vids.
I've wanted to build this version of Elesh Norn as I thought it was sweet so seeing it in action confirmed my opinion of it!
As someone who own commandor deck very similar to this I can 100%say that this is one of the most fun decks to play
I've been playing this version of Elesh Norn for a while now and can say it's fun but get ready to have a pile of tokens and dice at the ready.
@@frostninjutsu Got that covered!
The Elesh Norn bit in the intro slew me, excellent work!
I want to see a game where you play Felix against Felix, then attack Felix with Felix, and demand Felix stop hitting themselves.
Spider-Man meme
Funny you should say that.... Might want to tune back in about a week or so from now.
@@MTGMuddstah What’s more ironic is my name is Felix too
6:33 Hahahah once you know someone IRL named "Félix", it's impossible to break the habit and pronounce it "Feel-ix" again.
WOW. The thanks you get for stopping one of the Craterhoof lites. No respect, lol.
Not overloading his his damn was a mistake, he could of bought more turns than keeping the fog
Very cool Elesh Norn deck

Love to see that King of the Oathbreakers deck- so cool!

Þe opening Elesh Norn bit was golden lmao
Why not overload Damn at the end there?
It probably makes little difference because Max had an active Emeria, so he'd be bringing a creature back from the graveyard every upkeep.
@DarkEinherjar true but he didn't really have much of a chance otherwise
I was wondering the same thing.
@@valroy4859 Micah was in topdeck mode, as shown by the two lands in his hand at the end, so if he lost his board too, it would've been even worse.
If Ian tapped goose for mana and while blocking then doesn't it have deathtouch?
Another great video! Thanks guys
It's me, or Ian forgot a lot of Volo's triggers?
Doesn't Grim Hireling say one or more creatures? Meaning you only get one trigger per opponent?
Felix doubles combat damage to player triggers.

A fair vanifar? What is happening?
It was a Volo deck with Vannifar at the helm.
can you cut less of the games? 15 mn is too short
