Thank you SOOOO much for the new opening scene. Was soooo tired of the old ones. Hopefully there are a few more new ones to come. Love the new look if the channel with the better geaphics, and totally rnjoying seeing you in front of the camera more. Keep it up!!!
With Danse Macabre everyone sacrifices before the D20 is rolled. Charles only had one creature, but it’s done that way so you can’t pick before you see the result of the roll. The toughness wasn’t added to the roll. A 13 was rolled and Umori was sacrificed so it should have been an 18 and Charles should have gotten one of your creatures to his board. The back and forth between Charles and Corwin was interesting. I thought for sure it was going to cost the survivor of that feud the game since Andrew and Fred just kept politicking with each other. Charles even missed an opportunity to take the monarchy back after Andrew and Fred made the deal, but chose to focus blind rage at Corwin.
When no one was dealing with the scute swarm, I was sitting on pins and needles thinking you were gonna run away with it, but honestly, each deck did something that was pretty bombastic, so that was an excellent game to watch! And the animation at the beginning is the coolest thing ever. I love it
Okay love the new intro, it's adorable and very on theme, also the newish thumbnails are nice. Onto the game itself, boy howdy Terror of the Peaks is a card isn't it?
Nit picky of me, but why didn’t you sol ring turn one. T2 play scute and then play the tapped land for a scute trigger? Instead you ended up with the same result except you didn’t get a scute trigger
I understand that they're not Sorceries and don't 100% fit the theme of the deck, but that Umori deck is probably the best home for the on-color Magecraft critters I've ever seen.
@@COJred1 Funny how you can have two different outcomes from the same starting point. I built my own take on this deck and the Magecraft cards dominated the game. Maybe Yawgmoth's Will and the Chain sorceries from Onslaught helped with that. :P
This is uncanny. I just started bilding a Henzie Toolbox deck. I was looking for videos where he was featured but I couldn't find many. And today you decide to upload this match where Henzie isn't just featured, he gets to pop off.
This really wasn't a Henzie popoff or even a particularly good game from it. You almost never want to do what Corwin did and sac your Henzie like that. Without Henzie the deck is overcosted Jund cards with attack/damage triggers but no haste or death triggers but no sacrifice.
@@Kestral287 thats not really true, u WANT a few deaths on henzie, it was a little bit difficult tho, henzie usually suffers against wide boards. Why do u want henzie to die? more deaths more discount, more creatures entering and doing stupid stuff xD
@@wolfyingVR That's not remotely worth the tempo loss. It takes five blitzes to be worth the mana reinvestment, and that's assuming nobody capitalizes by just offing Henzie again to choke you out. The discount is a cool deterrent but not an angle to play for - but if you are going to play for it you also need to actually play for it, which this video did not.
@@corwinniederer9763 yup, it lacked the 2 or 3 big etb and big creatures per turn xD, I have my henzie focused in etb, atack trigger and ltb, and maybe 2 card of graveyard recursion, and i have lots of fun xD (and I kill my commander at least 1 time so I gave 2 colorless reduced)
How many basics you running in the Necrobloom? I have been fine tuning my list so I can get 7 different land names more consistently because getting those zombies out fast is pretty much the entire gimmick of the deck.
@@MTGMuddstah That's why I split my basics between normal and snow-covered in landfall decks. I never have trouble triggering FotD, even with 11-12 in the deck.
Okay so around 10:00 when he gets the Artisan of Kozilek to get back terror of the peak. He couldn't of done that. Artisan is a cast trigger, not a ETB. Other than that fun game to watch though
I think it was less the Companion requirement and more just a self-imposed deckbuilding restriction trying to maximize the value of the Commander if I had to guess. *After checking the decklist yeah there are creatures in it so clearly he just designed it with a specific theme in mind*
Beyond curious at the lack of removal in these games and when there is removal it doesn't hit any of the top targets. Also noticing you have a lot of lands decks is prob a bad sign since lands decks are one of if not the most unbalanced deck type in magic. went through my phase of them and decided it was enough after a lot of games and consideration.
Muddstah is going through a major glow up with the new intro animation and thumbnails
He deserves it after all the content he's put out!
Oh, so this is why a goblin needs to be sacrificed to Goblin Grenade...
Digging the new thumbnail and intro. Nice upgrades.
Love the new graphics. Happy to see the channel thriving.

Just the one animation for now!
Terror of the Peaks is a must deal threat... also, really cool approach of the Umori deck
And Scute Swarm. Both hung around way too long.

I was hoping no one would notice, I think I got a little jittery casting Danse Macabre with Muddstah.
@@COJred1 no big deal! Not like you’re the first person to ever misplay a card. Umori spellslinger is a sweet concept.
Thanks, I also forgot to attack with Umori before the Danse Macabre. Shhhhh
The group likes to pick on me. It's all good.
DAmn mate. Love the Poster-lik Images for the Thumbnails and the new animated intro. Love how you still put in the work to really advance as a creator

The thumbnail is very cool. Really grabs your attention.
4:25 Helping Fred with blowing mostly his stuff :D
I think he felt bad knowing he was going to do so, hence the tutor haha
Phrasing my guy😂
Now this is a thumbnail improvement right here. Fantastic new intro as well :)
New intro is so smooth. Looking good Muddstah
Crazy new intro! Very cool
new intro looking fresh!
I have an Umori spell slinger deck! Though I didn’t restrict it as much as you. Loved seeing it
Loving the new intro and title cards, btw!
Love the upgrades to the Channel. You did great on Hijinks
That goblin animation intro is sooo nice.
A game with some of my favorite commanders of all time AND a Muddstah Makeover??! GLORIOUS!!!
The cosmetic changes lately have been hugely positive - awesome to see. And excellent content as always.
I don’t understand everyone ignoring the scute swarm all game.
The thumbnail keep getting better, and i like that looney toon intro
The umori deck has inspired me
What a great new intro!
That intro is looking sharp
Your channel is evolving!
Man...New Capenna, the set that keeps giving! Industrial Advancement?!! Sweet card!
Where did those playmats come from? They look great
Umori with sorceries sounds like a fun deck. Gotta give it a go.
I feel so bad for Charles. One attack at Corwin and it's on sight, no matter that there are worse threats at the field.
One attack for half of my life.
I love the thumbnail
Hahaha that cartoon physics gag in the intro haha
Nit picky of me, but why didn’t you sol ring turn one. T2 play scute and then play the tapped land for a scute trigger? Instead you ended up with the same result except you didn’t get a scute trigger
That dance macabre was such a bizarre play. Also exiling your own bug when terror was out...
Loving the new animation.
Great improvememts all along. And sweet game too! Hope you feel better soon although I think your hangover voice sounds pretty cool 🤘
I understand that they're not Sorceries and don't 100% fit the theme of the deck, but that Umori deck is probably the best home for the on-color Magecraft critters I've ever seen.
I playtested with Professor Onyx, Sedgemoor Witch and Withbloom Apprentice, and they underperformed IMO, so I just added more sorceries instead.

@Alistor76 Make sense, if you look at my deck list, it is mostly bigger sorceries.
Can’t seem to find the vid with you on EDH Hijinks..don’t think it’s up yet

This was an ok showing of Henzie. Not ideal. It is a great deck. And lots of fun to pilot.

Loving þe new intro!
I would love to see the Necrobloom decklist, is it available yet? :D
That game was legit scarry to watch. Excellent plays by all!

He returned the Terror to hand with the Meren trigger, not Artisan.
I narrated that but it may have been muffled.
@@MTGMuddstah okay, that makes sense then. Apologies, also keep up the videos love seeing y'all game it out
I feel like Danse Macabre didn't resolve properly, or at least to it's full value.
If Umori is the commander you don't need to maintain its Companion requirement...

The return of Darth Andrew
At 5:45 you sac Steve and a land comes in but you only made an insect shouldn’t you have made and 0/1 plant from Necro?
You are correct! It was my second time playing the deck, so I may have missed some triggers sadly.
Is the necrobloom decklist still being a wip?
Slime against humanity is one of my favorite cards already and I only have 3 ;-;
Cool thumbnail!
Danse Macabre was mis played, he actually rolled an 18 because of the cards effect having counter him sacrificing umori,
A sol ring in not only a green deck but a landfall deck is wild.
I'm I the only one who wants to know what muddstah scried for and drew?

Henzie 🥱
thank god henzie won. scute swarm/landfall is so damn boring
