Windy Day is my favorite title track of theirs, I remember listening to it for the first time and feeling my brain explode at the drop, it was so unexpected, I don't know how I didn't lose my voice at the Oh My Girl concert I attended cause I absolutely screamed my head off during this song (and every other one, really).
Secret Garden and the Fifth Season are the epitome of Oh My Girl's fairy concept, they just make me feel like I'm in a fairytale and I love it
To be honest I wasn't sold on Remember Me for quite some time. It's not bad, but I just didn't like it nearly as much as the other title tracks (with the exception of Coloring Book). But watching it live completely changed my opinion of it, it was so incredibly fun, especially Mimi's part when the whole crowd went "WHOOOOA" and she was visibly enjoying having such power lol
Now I really want to relive that day, brb gonna rewatch their concert via fancams

oh my girl, for a girl group has my perfect music style in aesthetic and just overall their music is exactly what i like, the other group might be gfriend but gosh everytime oh my girl have a comeback i know i wont be disappointed unless they do a sudden extreme shift in musical directions

I just learned Oh my girl was going to disband if they weren’t successful with Secret Garden omg🥺😭 I’m so thankful for Secret Garden✨ besides getting their first win, that era is even more precious now❤️❤️❤️

“Remember Me” threw off so many people when they first heard it. “Wait- that was the chorus?? Oh...okay.” It is certainly unique, especially for OMG. I heard it when I hardly knew anything about them, music included, and fell in love with the song. (And it remains a top favorite Kpop track.) I dig the mini album too, which is always ideal, but the song definitely got a LOT of replay from me; it was one of those songs I was obsessed with, which is typically limited to 2 or 3 songs every year.
I still can’t sort out what had me so obsessed with it. Usually I realize that it’s due to nostalgia, and while it feels like this is why, I cannot pinpoint anything specific.

Deer antlers, like snakes' skin, are a mythical symbol of rebirth and growth in Korea and elsewhere, and the deer has been an integral part of Oh My Girl aesthetics. (They even hired a live deer for CLOSER music video, and Yooa wore a horn of plenty for her solo
debut.)

Also, in terms of the problematic stuff they’ve done relating to cultural insensitivity...just putting it out there that just bc Korea is a developed country, it’s still extremely homogeneous which leaves room for ignorance and misconceptions. So it’s bc of this I truly don’t think it’s fair to be calling Oh my girl racists. Sure they might be uneducated about a few things, but they don’t have any malicious intent (seriously, they’re one of the most kind, genuinely caring ggs ever✨). Ofc it’s important to learn about their incidents, and not shove them under the rug- but as a long time miracle I just ask u to please not hold them to their past mistakes. We can only hope the best for our girls🥺💖

Not trying to cover up or defend what they did in the past, but it's not entirely on them. It's on the entire Kpop industry which is so ignorant that the same mistakes keep popping up. Heck just yesterday it happened again with another group. As far as I know, Oh my girl hasn't done anything beyond what their company did 4 years ago. And they rightfully got dragged and called out then, even until now. So I'm not sure what you're still looking for regarding this matter.
As to your comment about what they are STILL doing, I'm guessing you are referring to YooA's solo. Yes, there are some natives that got offended, but there are also some who do not find it offensive simply because the face painting is too generic that it cannot be pinpoint down onto a specific culture. In fact, they find it offensive that non-natives find it offensive because it means those people associate any face painting with their culture. And that is a stereotype they do not appreciate. These are not my words, I'm simply writing down what some natives said in a TH-cam video about this.
My point is, let the natives have a discussion first and let us just support whatever their conclusion is. Because nowadays people don't even bother listening to others before jumping onto the hate bandwagon.
This is not Twitter, so I'm hoping we can have an adult and respectfull discussion about this.
