I have watched so many of these mining videos and finally someone explains things where I can understand how the heck this all works! Thank you for explaining how the gold travels and collects in the quartz, so thankful to finally get some understanding of this amazing world you live in. Fascinating they were doing this in the 1800’s with much less technology, very hard and dangerous work those miners were living. Stay safe!

so it's mainly a crushing and grinding unit to get powder around 1mm. Then gold trap and gold pan to recover the gold. It's for small scale capacity, exactly suitable for the small miners or whom pay interest in gold rush.

  • @revbobmartin

Here is a great 👍 idea that will help your back and time. A small portable feeling belt up to the level of the truck system or ground. You could also just carry the fulcrum legs, belt, 3-4 8’x12”-24”+ sectional with motor. If it works out for y’all like I know it will please consider a royalty for the plans especially if you sell them we could talk further.
I truly hope y’all took samples and made some thin sections to get some ideas on the original grain sizes before the crusher and grinder.

still a great rig ausome set up. I would add a metal tube roof that you can put a tarp on keep you and the equipment dry. And a jack all to use on the truck to level sluice run. still quite hard to improve on that set up, good work.

If you use a graduated cylinder with water displacement to determine the volume of the button , you can infer it’s specific gravity. In that way you can interpolate the percentage of your button that is actually gold.

Something that just peeked my curiosity when I was hooking up shredder to my Kubota compact tractor. You could probably work up a model of the mobile hammer mill and sluice adapted for PTO off of a small tractor. I would imagine a lot of small miners have compact tractors with front end loaders for moving material.

How much are the bags to hold the tailings. Would you sale them. Winter time work, sit in the garage and become a pan pro. Then hook up propane and the steaks maybe a wobble pop or two for lunch. Maybe some melting. 👍 what would you recommend first, Jaw Or Hammer, what $anC of the matter. Dose it rollup the gold, or dose the water injection limit the that from rolling balls. Thanks!!!

It would have been nice if you mentioned all of this. After crushing the ore it looked like the crushed ore was way to big to run through the sluice.
