I worked the doors for 15yrs mostly clubs in Birmingham, done my SIA last year thinking of going back and walked it and my cctv same but I'll never go back now you can't even put strain on joints now so all this shown can't be used in the UK, plus a doorman bud told me now if you have a argument say with a snotty pissed up student or office type and they take your number witch you have to provide on request and contact the SIA you will be unable to work for up to 3 months even if you've done nothing wrong while they " investigate " trouble is most the kids etc know this so your in the shit nowadays, and even if there's no case found to answer to you've still lost your earnings yet nothing happens to the person that put in a formal complaint, so no thankyou it's a mugs game now, it was a good job and it could be done in a firm but fair way as I said I did it for 15+ yrs and never had to assault anyone to do the job but now all the rules are against you and the money's the same as I was earning back in the 90s so now it's a very bad choice, and close protection is only any good if you are ex services or you won't get the right / contracts / jobs you don't have to believe me but I'm 55 and I know people that have close protection licences so think very hard before spending 2k+ for such I'm just being honest with you.. All the best

karl53133 simple don’t show them your badge number🤣. And they cannot report you

@@lookbetll8353 hmm not that simple then they'll ask to see management or report that you refused to give number to SIA or even police not so simple as you will see in reality ... You will see for yourself when you actually do the job bud if you get a asshole determined enough you will have problems, as I said got many years behind me and worked some britty hard venues in Birmingham city centre so I'm not talking out my ass, and still know doorman that are having these problems on a regular basis and as I said it won't matter if your found to be in the right or not your licence will still be frozen while it's investigating which can take months like everything else is concerned with the SIA... Anyway all the best

karl53133 ahahaha I’m a security guard🤣. Working for ISS look at the SIA guidelines you do NOT have to show them. There’s a good TH-cam video proving you don’t need to also.

Felix Loyola the fact you failed the SIA exam is scary. You really shouldn’t be in this industry.

Thanks for the tip, but I don't have a particular set of skills which I have acquired over a very long career that would make me a good CP operative. But I will try.

This guy is not showing his badge, he has no radio, no company name for what security comoany he is working for, no stab vest. He is nothing but a paid actor to sell a sales pitch for a scam. I have worked for over 8 years as a guard and what he is saying is utter lies. Also you suppose to be working with another guard at all times and not on your own. This sales pitch is a joke.
