    One of your best interviews, Ebony spoke all facts people don’t understand once you become a 1099 employee your open to many opportunities this is not for people who are 9-5’ers true entrepreneurs. I have an BSN, MBA-HCM, and next up is my DNP PMHNP-BC the field is not saturated there is a high need for nurse practitioners according to the Census Bureau so find what specialty your good at and run it up let’s go Nurse gang 🙌🏾💪🏾❤️👩🏾‍⚕️💰🤑

      @@WEG906 The truth. I remember a convo I had with a classmate back in 2007-2008(ish). They were paying CRNAs at least $200k when they finished b back then. I spoke with a ped anesth who told me don't bother with med school, go for CRNA and spare myself some of the ish that comes with her position (too may call shifts, messed up scheduling, favoritism, etc.) But her hospital had gone through some terrible leadership changes, which I think contributed to her being miserable. At her seniority, she was not taking call more than once a month--eventually it was like a couple times a WEEK.

    Great interviewer and interviewee. Welcome to Honolulu if you’re a new NP some employers will pay you 143K and forward from there. The bonus is upwards of 7200 >, so close to 150K for new NP. We say Mahalo! 😊
    By the way most people think it’s expensive here but not if 2 income family. All the best to our nurses. Work smart not hard. 😊

    I’m currently an FNP student, live in QNS, NY and I learned about traveling FNP positions during COVID but I didn’t see a lot of them and I didn’t know the full spiel of it; like the Locum Tununs! I apologize if I’m saying it wrong, but I never wanted to be a business owner until last year! To start a practice is not impossible, but seems like a very difficult road so to have my own business as a 1099 and progress in the way that Ebb is doing it, sounds more feasible and amazing!!! Until seeing some of these videos, I was nervous and thought, “I’d have to pay back loans and when will I have financial freedom?” I wondered if I made a mistake going to NP school.. But now, after seeing this video, I feel more confident about my goals! Work life balance while earning a great salary is the overall goal for me!!!😇

I think about that couple who were so kind to me alot recently and about the great foundation I really had in life and all the lucrative careers I dabbled in and all the great experience. I just started this year getting a BAS all online part time before I hopefully transferring to an MEPN program. I'd do the PA route but with admission rates and with my husband active duty, I don't know if I could do a 3 year program, and then try to finish all my clinical in time before we could possibly move again. It is also very appealing to me having more ananimoty and much more stability in what I wanna do even if we have to move. It also helps from what I read as well there is a thing called compact states that allow you to practice also in those states much more than in the PA route.

    I’m currently a nurse in NY now and will graduate with my FNP in May. My husband is also a nurse and we plan to move to CA soon. Never knew that I could actually have an NP license in multiple states. Was wondering if I could apply for my NP license in NY now, at the same time as applying for RN endorsement in CA? Is that possible? Then maybe start working as an RN in CA first, before applying for endorsement in CA as an NP. The CA RN endorsement takes so long! Any advice would be great! Thanks

    • @TravelingNP
      @TravelingNP 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Once you pass your NP certification exam you can apply for your NP NY license. You can apply for your RN CA license now as it will take several months to get approved anyways. Then when you get your NY NP license you can apply for the CA NP one.
