Really good video. There's a lot of Sol- Sloopers out there who just want to get home from work, eat a gummy, and get an hour session of OCD chill. Just enjoying the sunshine and the waves.
Yup, this right here except a few hours at a time. I've been tempted to setup a discord for solo-sloopers to hang out and maybe find a small crew but then I remember why we are solo sloopers LOL
I hate playing solo in high seas bc it feels like it's always a brig or gally on my ass, so I have been grinding commendations on safer seas until my duo can get his computer sorted 😩
Lmfao. Yeah. I was playing today as a Solo and seen the Galleon’s sails in the distance while I was digging up treasure chests. Luckily they were heading another way and my ship’s mast was hidden behind the tall rocks of the island from their view point. I kept a sharp eye though after that cause my luck they’d find me. I once had my ship stolen while I was treasure hunting on an island. Luckily I had found a Row Boat and loaded it with all the loot instead of my ship 😂😅 so I seen them sailing off with my ship before they saw me. I cashed out and rowed my ass a nice circular path around them when they returned to search for me and I managed to tow my way past them, a crossed the ocean to the outpost and sell all of the loot. They only managed to sink my empty unmanned ship.

Best way to have a chill session: -Raise Reaper emissary -hoist Reaper's mark flag -place skull of siren song chest/key on vessel -place reaper's chest/bounty on vessel -flip hourglass -do FOTD -run default ship cosmetics Sit back and relax. Nobody will bother you.
Question: when you say to flip the hourglass, do you mean to switch sides? I'm fairly new so there's still a lot I don't know, but I do remember interacting with the hourglass and choosing the "good" side (green), so do I flip to the other faction?
I did a Ashen Lord at Cannon Cove the other day and had someone steal my Chest of Rage as I was trying to load it about my ship, kept everything else including the Ashen Lords Skull so just left them with the annoying bit of loot 😅
Thanks Cap! I tried this run yesterday on Safer Seas for a while. When starting, I surfaced just under a Skeleton Fleet cloud. It was my first session with a controller after using only M+KB before so you can guess how the fight went 😂. And then I found an Ancient Skeleton but my aim with the controller was so bad that it got away 😭. BTW I found five bottles but the maps and skeleton contracts pointed elsewhere (but close), like Wanderers Refuge or Reaper Cay.
Falcore, I just noticed something huge in the emporium. Go to the pirate section and look at the cold costumes on the 3rd page. They tell you a little about each costume. Take a look at what the 2nd costume says. It hints at a new frozen area on the northern part of the map!!
I did this, but unfortunately a reaper brig snuck up on me, and sunk me. I’ll tell the story: I saw them hiding behind nearby islands when I was at Cannon Cove, but I just sailed to Rum Runner Isle, then they snuck up and sank me. Science I knew I couldn’t do anything after they had cannoned me in the face (by accident, they were noobs 😂) I just played music, and said Ahoy. But they killed me many times as I was sinking, playing music (they were wannabe toxic reapers) so once I finally sank, I immediately sailed to reaper’s hideout, (where they were heading) but didn’t get there before they spotted my sloop. There was a boarding attempt, but he got sniped right as he got up the ladder, climbed up to the crow’s nest, and I blundered him as he jumped down. He then tried to eat a pineapple, but I sniped him again. After he respawned, he dived to a new server 😂 (coward!) I wanted a fair battle! I only had like 2k worth of loot at most, so he and his crew mate(s) didn’t make much
As someone who has been struggling with getting a lot of Gold and Doubloons in Sea of Thieves due to Reapers and fled to Safer Seas, You may have just showed not just Me, but Everyone who still likes to play Sea of Thieves, basically how to get Lightning in a Bottle in both Safer Seas and High Seas
I like the method but the specific location is a little greedy, being basically right in the middle of the map. You're kind of inviting PVP by being there, and since you're going to be off the ship collecting stuff it might not be as chill as you hoped.. Which is why he recorded it on Safer Seas I'm sure. That being said, the idea is portable so I'd probably dive to Plunder Outpost and do this on Shark Bait Cove and the islands around there since it has a lot of shore line with all the inland water which increases your chances of finding bottle quests and it's also in the bottom corner of the map so not much chance of being messed with. Love the outside the box thinking though, anything to help the solo players!
Didn't even watch the video to know if this man said what I was going to say so here it is, devils roar, sail then all your sessions, no problems, no issues, peaceful treasure hunting over there *just ignore the mass amounts of rocks coming at you, the ground shaking on each island at random, and other possible tragedy's*
I mean. Now you're just going to see a ton of people trying to do this causing an increase in activity here. Realistically, this can be done ANYWHERE and have the same results. This is literally how I play every time I solo. No real goal, just picking up random stuff for funsies and sailing around. People can interrupt you at any moment. There is no surefire way to have a "chill session" on High Seas. The only way to ensure you always have a chill session is to stop caring about loot. Just enjoy your time playing the game and you'll always have a chill session.
Something else I enjoy doing for a casual session is ignore gold and focus on commendations! Sure collect lots of treasure too, but focus on something like shipwrecked chests, or slowly working towards those emmisary comms like "complete ... voyages". Especially with the diving now this can be very fast and lots of fun just exploring islands!
