Absolutely fantastic fight. Especially that last one but the first F-16 flew right into that missile, even with the contrail being visible. The last battle people were firing missiles all willy silly with bad locks and especially right into the sun. Converse munitions. Wait for a positive kill then let one off the rail.
I wish i could had been better. I felt like i let down my team. My emotions were on overdrive during the entire event. Got too excited. Couldnt control it.
at 10:37 i really enjoyed that maneuver the F-16 pulled to get behind the MiG-9 almost like a cobra maneuver but with less cobra and more stall spin to lose speed quick enough to throw off the shot of the MiG-9 then a quick recovery and followed with an aggressive pull on the trigger a couple times getting that kill i love to see stuff like this almost as cool as the Top Gun movies
@@benpurcell4935 Just my opinion...GR are great at the fleet vs fleet vids but GS is much, much better at fighter vs fighter combat. I do watch both GR channels though!
You said experienced, but he tried to rate fight above 1000 kph ias in the F-16. You want to be below 850 kph ias. Still an amazing fight and video though.
i feel like it would make it a better video if there were either no missiles or just limited to like 2 missiles so that instead of it being a missiles vs missiles, its actual plane and skill vs plane and skill. still liked that video tho 😀
I can see why people like jets, but this further shows that post ww2 war thunder is only about who has the longest range missiles and becomes boring… for me at least
As a Ukrainian (🇺🇦), I can say that the performance characteristics and quality of Soviet/Russian aircraft are overestimated on paper. In real life, the US Air Force will not even notice the Russian Air Force.
I love how players flare while using afterburners , and wonder why their countermeasures didn't work, and watching the.just yeet missiles at worst times just cringe
Nice fight but can u start from bvr (big map) n just tell them the rough co ordinates or just to use their radars. 3v3 from bvr in sim would also be nice but rb is ok as only a few play sim
Ultimately the f16 proved to be superior, but wow the mig is pretty good as well. Great flying from both sides, but I guess the hype around the f16 is true

Mig29 has better long range missiles, Mach 6, 30g overload. If this was done starting at 100km the mig29s would of all survived
