The pain in Brett's eyes as he knows exactly how something sounds but can't translate into the strings because he doesn't have perfect pitch is something I feel on a molecular level
Hahaha we perfect pitch folk aren't better though. Maybe we can play pieces from memory like Eddy does, but I often find myself unable to enjoy music properly. I always think about the notes in the music instead of the music in the notes. You don't know how much that hurts.

Not gonna lie, the THX sound scared the shit out of me as a kid. It was on, like, every DVD and I vividly remember trying desperately to skip it when watching movies in the car. It's ingrained in my memory as much as that "coming soon" message on all the disney dvd's
It’s giving white walker scenes
I always thought it was just me! It gave me the heebie jeebies

Perfect pitch definitely helps in this game, but Brett is close enough when he knows the tune 👌
So true!😂
Wouldn't say so, it's just good memory or familiarity with those jingles, both of them have a good enough relative pitch to replicate it, remembering them isn't influenced by perfect pitch

Ugh, I know...I hated hearing that theme as a kid. Same with the creepy BBC Video and Aardman Animations logos that played in front of my 1996 Wallace and Gromit VHS tapes.
Try hearing that though subwoofers theres a reason why my friends dad is deaf in one ear
It still scares me half to DEATH when I see that logo. I almost jumped off the couch when it popped up on this vid, lol
Omg so true ho
Horrendously traumatizing
It started out as Brett and Eddy playing tunes on the violin, which quickly turned into them grunting and hooting the tunes.
Yes we watched the video
Can I just say that the amount of great content these two create with a genre, that most people today would say it's a thing of the past or something only certain people can enjoy, is insane. Especially for how long theyve had their channel, I can literally watch so many of their videos and not realize how much time has passed. Great on you two, well done!!! 👏 👏👏
fun fact, the THX tune is an organ starting up. You have to basically get the pipes flowing and if you hold down a chord while it's doing that, that's the sound it makes
That’s not how it was made, it was generated digitally.
I don't believe that.
To be fair, most of these jingles have older and newer versions that have changed key. Y'all nailed it

Haha yess😄
The three rising arpeggios at the end of the 20th Century Fox Fanfare was an alternative extended version created for their Cinemascope pictures, and was barely used until George Lucas decided to use it for “Star Wars” in 1977. It seems to go so well with the main theme from Star Wars that it almost feels like it’s a part of the SW score. But actually John Williams wrote the main title theme so that it would follow on seamlessly from the extended Fox Fanfare.
Thank you this was a lot of fun to watch! You both are great!

Jingles are the perfect thing to play this with because everyone knows them but they've been heard so many times that they just blend in with the background noise of life. So, super obvious once you hear them but frustrating to try and remember.
