    Yup. Lightsaber tips.
    Hey, Zach, maybe I want a juddering track because I'm trying to recreate the look of the ORIGINAL films (before all the lightsaber shots were redone for all the Special Editions, which are, most likely, the only versions you've seen.)! 👍😁😉😉😆
    Actually, I've never done a complete lightsaber shot. Think I did a couple of seconds of one to train someone else, but that was the old school method of hand roto on a plane... A method for which Axel did a tutorial long ago...

      The ORIGINAL original film, A new Hope in 1977 used Retro-reflective blades. Corridor Crew made a great video explaining about that.

    Is there also some kind of effect so you can overlay an Eskrima stick (pretty much a rattan stick) with those effects, so you can film some real fencing sequences and then overlay the entire thing accordingly to make it look like a lightsaber duel, or do you have to carry some some kind of shadowboxing kind of motions against each other, without no real impact to the weapons, whatsoever? I am asking for a friend...

      @@FXhome Hey, I've heard that the reason that motion tracking doesn't work with fast motion if because of blur, but my lightsaber videos are stop-motion animated, so there is no blur, and it still doesn't track it! is there something that I'm doing wrong, or can it just not track ANY fast motion, blurred or otherwise?

    • @AustinThomasFilms
      @AustinThomasFilms 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Samdeeshh The shutterspeed is your problem. Crank the shutterspeed up real high (towards 1000) and the motion blur will disappear, but you might have to adjust the other settings to compensate for how dark it will get.

    Does anyone here know about shutter speed of camera, how does it matter?

    • @organick6882
      @organick6882 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Increasing shutter speed will make the video darker but have less motion blur. Decreasing will make the video brighter but have more motion blur. I advise having your shutter speed but as close to double the frame rate your recording in as possible. For example, when I’m recording in 24 fps it looks best when my shutter speed is at 50. 48 shutter speed is what I want since it’s double of 24 but the closest I can get on my camera is 50.

    Can't do anything like this any more, as the last update you offered me keeps crashing my PC every time I try to open it. Would've thought that a long-standing customer (of well over a decade) wouldn't have to deal with such sh*tty things ... and don't ask me to submit a crash report, as I've sent four of those things over the last two months with absolutely no response from your company. May be time to vote with my feet, I think.

    This tipps are much helpul. But is it also possible to track the mask woith moka hitfilm? In the video was auch dark background mentioned and this remembers me on the video that Javert creats one year ago. In this he shows how to create a Magic Energy Ball VFX with the Particle Simulator (m.th-cam.com/video/_eAFpKtpmQE/w-d-xo.html). In this Video was a nice black background used that was created with unreal engine 4. When this lightsaber video addressed the dark background, I remembered it. However, there was never a video that showed how the background was made, although the background looks really great and is pretty basic so you can use it in many videos. That's why I wanted to ask if a tutorial for absolute beginners could be made about how the background was maded.
