Dude, how do you summon a light saber to your hand and make it turn on?

@@DELOREAN_STUFF Film it backwards (Wave it around, 'turn it on' and throw it away) and reverse it.

Another way to do it.
Use a green stick with black parts in the beginning and the end of the laser.
Track the 2 points using rotation and movement tracking.
Create a solid and add the VC saber plugin in it.
Attach the start and end points to the tracking from earlier
Change a bit the settings depending on your side.
Finally add plugin shine to the lightsaber

This is great, i usually use Saber plug in myself, but when i use this technique with masks, i don't use mask feather, i use the glow effect x2, (1 tight, 1 wide) then use add mode instead. Some subtle shifts, but i like it. Nice work with the rapidly quick tutorial! Keep em coming!

I got this to work except that when the light saber is behind me, I need to create an additional seperate set of key frames, My end version has some of my light saber woking thats infront of me but when it cuts to sections behind me it wont work. Is there a way. Im soo noob at this, this is my very 1st ae project.
