The first shot with the exploding car is fascinating. I love how the car and the carpaint is reflecting the explosion and how it casts realistic light on the car and the environment. Thx for video!! I'm using LUMA for the same process and it also works wonders. But ill give it a go with new RUNWAY as I didn't like much gen2 but defo there are many improvements 🫡
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg Yeah, and you have to also use tons of unrelated slowmotion and add the blue line across the whole screen in post-production, because anamorphic lens-flare is even more cinematic than your cinematic_black_bars.png overlay :D
Such a great video with all of the examples - You've got a really amazing channel! Now comes the serious question: What the heck is that device on the left side of your vehicle's hood?!
How in the hell did you get the camera to stay perfectly still? I took a screenshot of your exact image of the bird on the book, entered the exact same prompt and it didn't work. I tried a million different variations and every single time the camera moved. I also tried making the first and last frames the same.
I like Runway Gen-3 but the results are all over the board. I would love to see how much was spent trying to get these results. For people who have never used Runway it costs money every time you prompt it and get a new video, they can range dramatically, even using their suggested prompt guide. And the best part is, if you don't like the video that was rendered...tough luck.
I get some wild creations that could never be used for anything but yet it costs me credits to see. Like throwing at a dartboard blindfolded. If I reject the video then I should get the credits back. I feel like we are paying to train their machines and we get nothing from it.
This is crazy. It is interesting in the first shot the explosion started near the gas tank. It would be interesting if it would add just a little car shake also. Then I would pretty convinced this is real
Nice video. In this casa 4:17 I think it would turn out a better video, if you recorded a vase without the plant. As you can see, Runway does not morphs the plant, it simply grows another one.
This is amazing thank you! I'm still wondering if there's an "inverted mask" or something? Meaning. Let's say you have someone talking to the screen and you record that. And then you want animations around the guy talking based on let's say, the main topics he's talking about. How could you have animations sorta like around the person that's being recorded? like moving, not still. thanks!!
With the potted plant example, could you have used a pot with no plant, just dirt, and had Runway Gen-3 grow a plant, or did it need the plant to know where to put the growth? Do you know if it's possible to use 3D models created with Blender, or will it only accept photos?
Firstly. Great video, keep it up. How good is runway when you want multiple animations at once? E.g. twilight at the sea. Clouds drift through the air and day turns to night. The starry sky appears with a shooting star. Is this even possible?
long as continuity (filmic and physical) can not be guaranteed, and this could be an actual long term problem for how these images are generated, I see little widspread apllicability in the VFX space. AI could do small, tedious jobs, like short cutaways, but investigating generated scenes for continuity errors in, say, a 30 second action scene with like 15 to 20 shots, seems to be a nightmare.
Very good viedo thanks for this ! I would like to know how many generations did you make to obtain those results? No way it can be on the first try, Gen3 likes to let us burn credits without doing anything we prompted, too frustraiting ! I actually use it and also Klingg, and I'm so happy with the Kling results, it is way more comprehensive about what we prompt and I don't feel as frustrated as with Gen3. They really need to tune their AI because it can do great things, but you have to try 15 times to have something okay-ish. Kling is definitely better than Gen3 if you can afford the subscription (cheaper than Gen3) to unlock professional mode. But they don't communicate as well as Runway so very few people heard about them. Thanks anyway, great video !
Thanks for the comment. It can take a few tries to get a good result, it may be best to get the unlimited subscription just for one month and try get all the shots you need for your project. They have just released turbo mode as well, which are quicker and at half the credit cost.
I noticed kling results are subpar compared to Gen3 or Luma but maybe thats because i only tried their free version? Does the pro version increases quality by a lot?
@@AtomicGains-ql8hg i'm testing Rynway intensively and yes the turbo mode is quite good but you have a noticeable trade off in quality when you use it. Gen3 is good but you should try Kling too. Try one month as you said and you'll see the difference. But yeah, exciting times for us creative people.
