In like later books we get to know that a god cannot directly interfere in quests so Hermes knew Annabeth was stealing (god of thieves cmon) and he wanted to help but cudn't directly interfere. So he just let her steal it... So i do think he's a good person in this. Btw in the real book we dont even meet hermes.

I really love this episode. They managed to not waste the short runtime and added lore that will be relevant in the future seasons. This is one example of telling a story in long form. Considering that the chapters for the lotus hotel was boring and short in the books, they did a really great job making it meaningful in the show. It's also a good setup for the last two episodes. Can't wait for the finale, I'm sure it'll be very hyped!
19:17 That's kind of the point because the lotus casino hotel traps mortals, demigos, etc. inside. So a lot of them have been there since the 90s.
22:49 Oh there definitely is a reason. They have been planting a ton of seeds that will be relevant for the future seasons.

This episode did a really great job of bridging the early episodes to the finale without losing too much momentum. I am really excited to explore more of the lore of this universe and I think they introduced a lot in this episode to be excited about. Bring on Ares and the Search for Sally!

Nice reaction! From a book reader's perspective, I think they are setting up the five book (five season 🤞) arc really, really well. I love that you, as show-only watchers, are left wanting to learn more about Luke and Hermes, the search for Pan, etc.

Thank you! I think this show does a really great job of getting us to care about the characters before dangling mysteries in front of us so I find myself wanting to know more. I think Luke is an interesting character and I want to learn about his relationship with Hermes because I am invested in the character.

EEEEEEEEEEEE loved this reaction yall make me appreciate this show even more each time. im often blinded by my experiences with the books and unconsciously compare the two but i can also clearly see the reasoning behind the changes and how they strengthen character progression, greek mythology lore implementation, and cool set design. awesome stuff all around though i do wish they showed grover playing an FPS where youre a deer and you hunt human traffickers LMAOOOOOOO it really showed his anger for humans and is just a hilarious image. actually that may not be kid friendly so i get it hehe

awesome vlog review of this episode 💯‼️🧡🩵💙so if you rewatch the episode pay attention when Annabeth is telling Percy about Luke and Hermes behind Annabeth 2 kids in purple shirts run behind Annabeth that’s an easter egg to the camp Jupiter which is in the heroes of Olympus series. Also when in 12:30 when Grover is with the other satyr Augustus behind them the kids playing the vr game there is a girl playing like an archery game you can hear a little boy calling Bianca Bianca which is an audio easter egg for later on.
I enjoyed the epside and while some changes had me a little shocked...im on board becasue they made alterations that develop characters, set up for futrue elisodes and increase momentum which is necessary when going from book to screen.
I didn’t like the previous episodes but this one was amazing. The first episode except the second one i enjoyed, it didn’t feel bland like the other ones. At least that’s my opinion
