Logan, I'm wearing the same shirt as you today...it's not a particularly warm shirt. I live in snow country too and I'm cold just watching you. lol Love those Schatt & Morgans.

That's a lovely S&M - the GEC#23's heritage is clear - perhaps a certain Bill Howard made your example!

I enjoy when you tell it how it is on something that has poor QC. To many TH-cam channels don't always call out the mistakes or QC errors.

Great looking Schatt & Morgan and nice score on an older knife!

I wish I could have gotten in on it. The jack knife model was catching my eye.

That's a great Schatt! While I've not had a Queen made one, jumbo trappers are a favorite pattern of mine. I have a couple 23L single blades, once you've handled a 23 it seems all other jumbos have light pulls 😉👍

What you might find if you study up on Queen and Schatt & Morgan knives is the quality is equal and often surpasses GEC. The choices and models have more models that appear and are just as quickly bought as GEC knives. The difference is; you to have hunt them like everyone else and not wait around for the next knife drop from GEC. Remember how long Queen and Schatt & Morgan have made knives before GEC was even in business. So; it easy to understand the difference; there many more multi-blade models to choose from. Most have a high polish finish and models are not bought and resold for inflated prices immediately. It is easy to see GEC models are often copies of Queen Models with a few changes. The Key Stone shield represents Pennsylvania the Key Stone state. One reason; I like them is because I lived in Pennsylvania all my life. Another is; you are collecting history not just another next new model. The founder of GEC didn’t wake up and understand how to make knives; he learned from someone else. You can’t build a company with one person. I might think some others had to help and had the skills and knowledge to make knives too. ✨🦉✨🙂

7:17 Friend, you can't buy things that are made in China. Taiwan is fine, but not from the Chicoms!
