This video reminds me of an automotive book I bought for a specific truck in the 80's that said, to change brakes ... remove wheel, remove old brakes, install new brakes, reinstall wheel.

Thank you for the "HOW TO" video. In my 50+ years of driving (including otr), I've never had to change a door handle. However, after watching THIS video, I went ahead and followed the steps 1,2,3. (Due to the size of my hands and SO LITTLE ROOM to work with, I was able to get it done in about 2 hours. Now if I had smaller hands, I could have done it in about 20 minutes.)
I try to show how it went together on the inside but it’s very dark and not very big for cameras. But The cool part is that the rods pretty much will only lineup and go in one spot. Not too difficult pretty much Self-explanatory when you get in there.
Yeah....not very clear how the linkage goes back though. Could have demonstrated the orientation using the busted part outside the door since most cameras are too big to fit unless you got a go pro. Who doesnt have a go pro of some kind these days anyways or a cellphone camera?
Hey, great video - my 2010 Ranger passenger handle broke as well. What model year is this Ranger? I looked up the 90021 Dorman part number, but it says it only supports up to, like 2003. Thanks for the video. Either way, this will definitely help me.
It looks similar on the doorhandles but I can’t say for sure I did some research last night and I can’t see that much of a difference but I don’t wanna lead you down the wrong path so proceed with caution I would say but definitely let me know how it turns out

@@Codyb82 I got the replacement today - Dorman 90692 - good news is, the only plastic part is the mounting plate against the door frame. Everything else, the pull, and the arms for the pull wire connection are all cast metal. This should do great for the later year Rangers. Thanks!
What I find interesting is I never watched a video or read directions. I did it all on my own with no help. And it didn’t take me very long to figure out I have to drill out the rivets and replace them with screws. if you can tell me how to mount a camera inside a adore to show you what you want I would gladly reshoot this video.

Good vid man. Driver side handle broke on mine followed by tail gate handle. Do you know if they are interchangeable or orient coordinated?
My understanding is they look very similar but they are definitely different

If you’re going to show someone how to do something, you have to actually include the footage on your video.
