racism towards black people. I remember Mohamed Ali went to jail for saying he wasn't going to go to "fight some viet, what did the viet do to me?" those were his exact words. They stripped him from his title and threw him in jail. Now those people's children worship whiteness. Unreal.

Well, that they prefer lighter skinned foreigners.
@8:50 he gives the definition of racism but claims not to be racist LOL.
      That is alarming...
That said, seem like the Vietnamese are running from their Black Hebrew ancestry.
I have been studying ancient history and found a lot of things out that are not in the history books like Black Buddha.
People that don't believe in God are spiritually bankrupt...

Vietnam was the best country that I ever went to. Vietnamese are easy to talk to, for outgoing personality people like American or Latin people. My least favorite country was Japan 😬. I didn't speak Vietnamese hardly at all, but people want to practice with me, or they help me in English too a lot. My friends from there still talk to me every week, on Zalo. Vietnamese food is very delicious to me because it has a lot of Asian flavors and aspects, but also has great influences from Latin part of Europe such as breads, cheese, and coffee.

It has nothing to do with racism, but more toward discrimination. Light skin complexion is consider to rich or affluent. Obviously, because they are rich therefore they are always in door.

Sure you can get $1.50 hot dogs at Costco, but rent will be $2k-$4k to live in a major city. Add in a car note, sky rocketing insurance, inflated food prices, a predatory healthcare system, crime, homelessness, racism, inequality, and suddenly this place isn’t so great.

Thanks for this interesting insights. I do agree about several topics. new to me is the difference between Viet kieu & overseas vietnamese, which I am. This show off game is like Don said annoying, there more it‘s so energy consumed to listen to all this. the worst is, those kind of Viet Kieu‘s do it everywhere, same here in Switzerland, they do show off for example to USA Viet Kieu and opposite too 😂😂😂 Skye I do feel the same, unfortunately. When I‘m in Vietnam I had bad experience too. Whatever I say(my vietnamese level is quiet good even I don’t get in touch with vietnamese everyday) or do for them it‘s „not good“ and they always have to make a comment. especially as a north vietnamese speaker, have to hear a lot of comments which is not relate to my person ar all. from my perspective I try to be comphrensive for many topics but often they push me to the limit. Just I wish they also put the glasses on to understand the other perspektive. I have seen psychology experiments where a person in distress laying down on the ground just wearing nice clothing is treated much better than someone who is not wearing nice clothing.
It probably has to do with the opportunistic nature of humans, though the strength of any "civilization" is reflected in how well the worst off are treated.

My heart goes out to Vietnamese, Filipino, and many other Asian men and women who are born in countries where their currency is at a monumental disadvantage to the American Dollar.
$1 US is 25,390 Vietnamese Dong
$1 US is 58 Philippine Peso
No matter how hard a Vietnamese or Filipino man works, they cannot overcome that stark disadvantage in the purchasing power of their respective currencies. Their productivity is literally being stolen from them from currency conversion alone.
In essence, these men cannot compete with men from Western countries simply because of the stark disadvantage in their respective currencies alone.
Western men are at a huge unfair economic advantage in the dating market in these Asian countries.
This causes the many of the most productive men and women to leave their home countries in Asia to move to western countries.
If they were on equal economic standing, their choices would not be so stark.

Honest is best.) 3) Don't throw trash and destroy the beauty of your own country- always amazes me because Vietnam is so beautiful 4) Think ahead, plan, make medium and long term plans. Living in the moment is great but will not get the respect of others including Japanese, Malaysians, Germans, Americans, etc. 5) Stop with the concept of 'Western' and "Asian''. There are hundreds of different 'Western' and 'Asian' cultures which are deeply different from each other. Japan and UK probably have more in common with each other than Vietnam and Malaysia do.
