If a man has true character, integrity, and goals 9 times out 10 he will care about those things already. You are so right! God doesn not want us to allow men or marriage to be a distraction. It’s a challenge b/c Lord knows our society views single women in a certain, less valuable way, but it really is an opportunity for us to focus on what God would have us to do in that season.

Yeah I was raised to not judge someone by the car they drive from when I was teenager. The car someone drives mean absolutely nothing and people prioritize different things! The older I get the more I appreciate my parents, my value systems are different for sure and I’m grateful everyday

This advice is mainly for younger women. Most Women 50 plus don’t want a man who works 3 jobs. I would be impressed only if we were much younger, because at this juncture in my life, I want to travel and really enjoy life. Besides, retirement is around the corner.

I honestly didn’t think men looked at anything other than the flesh because all men showed they wanted was prissy women, women that dressed a certain way wore a lot of make up and got plenty of attention. I personally wondered when or where were the men that look into the hearts of a woman to see the God in her however I’ve always been labeled, misunderstood, judged. Even with Material things i noticed men using it to pull women, I even had a child with that particular type.
