USA Jazz vocalist Tierney Sutton arranges this Bill Evans masterwork with an introduction in the form of a three-part invention with vocal, piano & doublebass, before reaching the head, giving it a J.S. Bachian feel, evoking footsteps & following each other through to the afterlife as the title suggests "We Will Meet Again". Here Antoine Boyer honours Bill Evans' customary inner voice movement under the melody, also using some quartal harmony to evoke the confusion, sadness & mystery of bereavement. Breath-taking arrangement, improvisation & performance.

Absolutely, inner voicing movement is incredible in the "head". Great observation. Antoine Boyer's example here is an excellent study in how to arrange Bill Evans' pieces to acquire that inner voice movement that Bill Evans was so masterful in creating

Great Version, Thanks You. I saw Bill Evans and Eddie Gomez play this LIVE in Ronnie Scotts, London, circa 1969. This will become a reference version of this melancholic virtuoso piece.
This piece was composed by Bill Evans in 1977 I believe to commemorate his deceased brother.
