Wii Sports being a $20-25 dollar game just because of resellers bothers me. It was bundled with literally millions of Wii's, and pre-COVID you could find it for like 2 bucks at a thrift store.
I am baffled. It is like the old FIFA games. Anything older than 2-3 years sells for cents. Especially when they shut down the servers. Most retail stores not even buy this crap for instore credit as it is just a burden on inventory and makes so little profit. Or they sell in bulks in the sales bin. No worries, our hero is here to save the day again. One Amazon sale at a time.

Seeing that he has a copy of Blasphemous in his Switch collection makes it even more obvious that he doesn't play the games in his collection. While that's one of the best games on the Switch, it's also one of the most brutally hard so I don't imagine he would make it very far into the game. I don't mean this in a snobby gatekeeping kind of way, it's just not a game I would recommend to casual gamers because they probably wouldn't enjoy their experience with it. I also noticed he had the Limited Run release, which costs about $80 more than the Team 17 release, though both of those go for insane collector prices these days. That game is easily available at most retailers and you can get it for dirt cheap.

The friends I recommended it to who couldn't get past the tutorial boss in the first game weren't casual gamers either. They are all rather avid gamers who can handle some metroidvanias that people often consider to be tough like Hollow Knight, Ender Lilies, and Metroid Dread. It's just that the Blasphemous games and other metroidvanias that are fully souls-likes are just on another level of difficulty that is relentless and completely unforgiving.

We get more busy on digital and getting everything to our door-step the next day that the 'community' element dies because of people who resells this and see the dollar bill in every videogame. The same trend goes in boardgames nowadays. Digital games kill the actual games and less people buy the actual paperbox or pack of cards. I think Hearthstone itself was a huge kick for Magic the Gathering.
This behavior by resellers (Caleb is not alone) in recruiting people to scoop up retro games and send it to them for the sole purpose of then reselling it again on Amazon is so disgusting. I don’t say this lightly but I actually hate it. It sucks on so many levels. Who are these dolts that are becoming minions for Chase after the right price and Caleb? I have a feeling they are the lamest people in the country.

When you realize the type of business he is running and how income can wildly swing you don't go out buying cars. With all the driving he does a Prius is actually smart since you save on so much gas.
