I also have a feeling that movie will end up being another let down as Sony doesn't seem to grasp the approaches they're taking when it comes to adapting these characters and source material for most of their movies.

The Problem with The Marvels is that the Villain post no threat at all given how OP they made Cap Marvel and how unlikable she is as a character that embodies a mary sue archetype.
Enjoyed 2003 Hulk, Madam Web, and New Mutants. Saw Web, Morbius and New Mutants in the cinema. As a vet nurse, pretty sure I felt my spine creak with how hard I cringed at the bat blood stuff in Morbius. That's the only one I haven't enjoyed so far.

Downvote on behalf of Spidey stuff and the Venom films. Unexpected found husbands romcom, and a lot of fun! And Last Stand isn't bad, imo. It just broke me emotionally. And Spidey 3 wasn't bad, even if it wasn't brilliant. The was the Symbiote/Black Suit effected Peter was really well portrayed. The fight at the end against EddieVenom was awesome. And Peter and Harry coming back together to work as a team was A+. Not looking forward to Kraven, though.
The problem i see about Eternals movie is that they were trying to do too much (establish waaaay too many characters that the audience had confusion emphasizing wit whom, the plot itself and trying link to future mcu movies) and tell too much (the background of how they came to be etc) and they couldnt decide what kinda movie it was gonna be. If they had focused on just 1-3 characters, minimise other sub plots (love interest, a certain mental illness (trying not to spoil the plot) a certain character’s personal issue about age…). Had they focused on just 2-3 characters and left out unnessary actions (yes that dance clip was so disappointing and not at all close to what a proper one should look like). I feel like the pov should have been Sersi for optimistic pov, Druig for the cynical pov and Gilgamesh for heart and comedy. Sigh it had so much potential for action. I looove seeing Makkari’s speed in action. And the fighting sequence show cased their abilities and fighting style. Hoping for a redo but highly unlikely
Lots of single story marvel movies seem to be the bombs while the Avengers movies and X Men movies are carrying the company and its rep. Although there have been good single story marvel movies too

I liked Antman 3 and Thor Love and Thunder. Idk how they did bad the story seemed fine and so was the cast. To me I enjoyed it same with the 2000s Fantastic 4 movies. Howard the Duck. The one Lucas film Kathleen Kennedy didn't ruin. Morbius had the wrong writer and director. It should have been a horror movie. Not an anti-hero movie. Josh Trank was also a bad choice for the recent take on the Fantastic Four. That photo of Josh Trank looks more like Robert Rodriguez.
