The movie Hulk is probably Marvel’s worst … Norton’s Hulk was the best of the three. Ruffalo’s Hulk is not just the worst, it’s bad. Even Bana’s Hulk was decent. At least they did the characters powers justice in that first movie!

I think it would be nice to see a MultiVerse series of movies where some of these ideas are fleshed out. Let Edward Norton run with a Dark Hulk storyline leading to World Breaker Hulk in a parallel timeline. I would see every movie in the theater!

And endgame shouldve been the whole next phase but not the end. Handle the same way twisting familiar elements but adding more mystery and deepen the layers by incorporating the characters they previously didn't have access too. It all could still work how they want to. Kang could come in trying to warn the avengers and prove he's a better hero. Because he's aware of the change due to his own mechanisms of time manipulation becoming a direct threat to thanos (believing he was the only to remember) and in turn becoming a target by "higher powers" like memphisto. The endgame being all that they're what they're trying adapt with secret wars. But Franklin and the beyonder or someone greater going at it for control over the next phase.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I think I'm too high.
Sony canceled Spider-man 4. They kept on interfering with Sam Rami’s vision. Anne Hathaway was cast as Black Cat but Sony wanted to make her Vulture’s daughter.

I was deeply disappointed by the FF/Silver Surfer only by the unbelievable finale which basically shrunk Galactus into being a cosmic cloud. That cast was totally proper in their appearance and chemistry and looked just right.

TBH: Ghost Rider 2 and Punisher 2 flunked because of one reason: Marvel Knights. When they moved production to Marvel Knights and altered the script, story line, and went cheap on the entertainment like the weaker flaming skull and ditching the transforming skull chopper, the profits to them sunk enough to hide Ghost Rider until the TV Series Agents of Shield.

It definitely could’ve had potential…had Kevin Feige not put his foot down and purposefully let it die with a limited budget and little to no effort involved under Jeph Loeb’s (Marvel Television) eye. In recent years, after the MCU completed shat the bed with the (No Way Home and Werewolf By Night being exceptions) entirety of Phase 4 + Phase 5 so far (GotG Vol. 3, not so much), with just how much praise Feige as the Producer in charge of “making the MCU great”…perhaps it’s time to re-assess that exact notion. After all, Feige wouldn’t have gotten that position if not for the guy they recently fired: Ike Perlmutter. Seeing how Ike pretty much was the architect of the initial first three phases and Feige being in charge of how they’ll all fit/synergize together in time, after seeing how Feige continuously tries to make new characters by tearing down all the older ones in Phase 4 (and currently in 5), you can now see how little Feige knows about what he’s doing in the aftermath of Perlmutter’s demotion down the ladder into being let go by Bob Iger to save on costs. I bring up Ike Perlmutter because the Inhumans film was HIS IDEA; since they couldn’t use the X-Men at the time due to 21st Century Fox being separate from them at the time, Ike felt that putting the Inhumans out there in the MCU while giving them the prestige treatment that the MCU would give to build up formerly niche franchises/characters into Worldwide Sensations, they could not only have something that could sell toys/merchandise (since Ike’s genius was in being a Toy Business Magnate)…but eventually be the MCU’s very own surrogate for the X-Man. That idea SOUNDS INSANE, but at the same time…think about it: you ease into the bigger franchise that they can’t use just yet by BUILDING UP A MISUSED & DORMANT ONE as a major part of the MCU going forward and presto…you’ve not only made the MCU feel bigger and more dynamic/layered, but then you’ve also carried on legacies of Stan & Jack by bringing them into the 21st Century while making their initial promise/concepts forward and tapped into their fullest potential! But nah…Kevin Feige had Bog Iger demote Perlmutter to give us something he thought was “better”: Captain Marvel 😂😂😂 Feige never deserved any praise of any sort. He’s too drunk on the hype that Perlmutter and Victoria Alonso (who also go fired for ruining the MCU) were responsible for generating.
I wasn’t much of a comic fan as a kid…the one exception being Ghost Rider. The dark art and storylines, the nuanced characters…blew my mind. Morbius, GR, Blade, Spider-Man, etc…all in a same story arc?! Was insanity at a young age. I think the 2nd movie nailed the look, just barely had a script or dialogue holding it together. If they can recreate the look with an interesting story in the MCU, would be amazing! Shang Chi was one of the better movies MCU has put out recently. It’s a waste they didn’t do a 2nd one, the 1st was amazing! Excited to see what they do with MoonKnight next. Like a Ghost Rider, a tricky character to not make goofy…but that team did a killer job!
Tom Jane's portrayal of the Punisher was my favorite even though that movie sucked. The Punisher is such an iconic character, but it seems like no one can write a decent story for him.
Ghost Rider for me, but it won't happen, he's an MCU breaker, there's no character currently in the mcu that can step to Ghost Rider except maybe Galactus, if that's even who's coming up. But then again Ghost Rider took out the Annihilation Wave single handed so I mean... Dude took out Thanos on his own too I believe.
Silver Surfer would of been great as a surprise appearance in Avengers end game. ( He would come to Earth for Galectus but end up fighting with the Avengers) then ( the real Galactus ) not a ( cloud ) show up and decides not to take on the Infinity stones.
I really wish we would have gotten the Gambit Origins movie, it had a lot of potential to open up to other movies. We could have gotten a Rogue origins movie, we could have gotten a movie with Storm and Gambit since she is the one who vouched for him to join the X-Men. We could have had Mr. Sinister, Sabertooth and the massacre of the Morlocks along with Gambits Redemption in that arc.
Totally agree .. Gambit was my fav X-men, therefore casting the right actor is critical .. not a big fan of Tatum .. nothing against him but him playing Gambit would’ve been terrible to the character.. that’s my opinion. Honestly the voice of gambit in X-men cartoons is legendary so anyone who got casted would have to nail that New Orleans accent to even come close to the gambit I’ve been a fan of!
I've always wanted to see more of Jim Starlin's Captain Marvel. He was an interesting character when he first came out and Starlin brought the character and title to new heights. And that's my two cents.

First off, both Tobey Macguire and Tom Holland have done absolutely stellar jobs in portraying Peter Parker and/or Spider-Man, so being "the worst" of that trio isn't necessarily any indication for a bad performance. Garfield was too confident, attractive and popular to properly portray the nerdy, weak outsider side of pre-bite Peter Parker, but his character arc with Chris Zylka's Flash Thompson, his chemistry with Sally Field's Aunt May, and particularly Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, as well as the levity he brought to his Spider-Man persona were all pretty good. The main issue his movies faced were the scripts, and he proved in No Way Home that he was a great fit for the role. My main issue with you, however, isn't that you call him a bad Spider-Man. You could have called him the best, and it still would've been dumb, once you followed it up with "I didn't even watch his movies". You're in no position to properly judge the performance, outside of parroting your favorite TH-camrs who may or may not have made any legit points.
Bernthal was amazing as punisher especially in in daredevil. Netflix Daredevil is amazing to I think it's my favorite adaptation of any superhero ip. the tone and overall grittiness to it was captured so well. And the season with the punisher was so well written. I'm sad it didn't continue and I've just recently read they recast foggy and Karen for the future Disney+ show which was a terrible call those 3 had great chemistry but leave it Disney to ruin that. Can't say this for Netflix much recently but they hit it out of the park with Daredevil even though they did to it what they do to all good shows they create cancel it prematurely
I strongly doubt that Netflix would've cancelled it if given the choice. The issue was that Disney wanted it completely under their umbrella and on their platform.
I've been saying the build-up is going to be pulling the universe together as a whole after ripping it apart. They are going to ride that success wave of No Way Home. I, for one, could not be happier. I've been saying that since Ironman Studios should have been sharing the rights for fan service. We finally have it almost 20 years later!
these movie companies need to grow up and realize that different comic book characters have different storylines and themes and make these movie that are are darker than their main movies
Gambit is the only character that I would have liked seeing developed, but not with Channing Tatum, Taylor Kitsch is a better actor than Tatum. Not particularly disappointed in Garfield’s or McGuire’s cancellation, I actually really like Tom Hollands portrayal, and Tobey doesn’t deserve another chance at anything.
Can we reboot Ghost Rider? I would love to see either Norman Reedus or Keanu Reeves in the role. Taylor Kitsch as Gambit was the best part of Wolverine, but regardless of who was cast, i would've loved to see a Gambit movie.

A hulk trilogy that included Grey Hulk and even Maestro would have been great, but I dont think Norton would have played nice with the rest of the Avengers actors. His name was larger than all of the rest combined at that point. A SOny universe Silver and Black movie could be good if you make it like Atomic Blonde. Mostly grounded, strong character , decent plot with solid action.

I hated the tasm 1 suit and peter was a bit of a smart azz and not as nerdy but I did like the story of tasm 1 now the second one love the look of the suit and most of the story and I get the whole peters dad made the spider formula with his own DNA and that's what made the green goblin go crazy but I just thought it was to much and they should have just had the Norman Osborn drank the formula and go crazy and just have peter get bite by a spider of that had unknown DNA or something like that

I liked war zone better then the first punisher movie although it's been a long time I don't really remember it. The only thing I remember is that they killed his entire family at a reunion instead of just his wife and kids. Samuel M. Rami was already well known because of Hercules TV movies, Hercules the Legendary Journey TV series, Xena Warrior Princess TV series, Young Hercules TV series, Jack of All Trades TV series.
An unusual way to complete many of these could have just been an X-Men anthology movie in which of the main characters told their own origin story and maybe 20 minute portions kind of like a campfire story

Pretty sure Scarlett Johansson was the only _current_ big name star at the start of phase one, in a superhero role at least. RDJ was an 80s and 90s bad boy who was a big risk for a starring role, while Chris Hemsworth was a virtual unknown, and Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo were B or C listers. Thr only other big names in phase one were Samuel L. Jackson (and he got the role largely because the black Nick Fury from the Ultimates universe was designed _based_ on him), Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins. Plus, it's a big financial risk putting fresh, unknown faces in starring roles in a big budget blockbuster.

Part of what shut down the first Spider man movies is Toby McGuire turned out to be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Telling a woman to bark like a dog for $10,000 and flipping out because she said no is more than just a little problematic. Also Power Pack could not be made in today's industry because of taking years to make a movie and when dealing with kids that doesn't give a whole lot of opportunity to make the most of the franchise.
The scripts woukd have to be ready in advance and the films shot back to back with adults cameoing there, not them someplace else. But nowadays, it would probably fail because people would want to see siblings and Marvel would deliver girl bosses in the making.
With the new tech available for CGI. Disney would need to develop a secondary Adult franchise with no limits featuring, A new Blade, Ghost Rider & get darker with Damian Hellstrom. That 2nd Doctor Strange would be a test, compared to the possibilities.
Wanted shot true to what the comic actually did ( I know how hard that would be in the current movie climate, probably wouldn’t be so well received ) was always my dream comic movie. I was so utterly destroyed by how they watered it down.😢

Infinity war should've ended with the snap restarting the mcu. And endgame shouldve been the whole next phase but not the end. Handle the same way twisting familiar elements but adding more mystery and deepen the layers by incorporating the characters they previously didn't have access too.
It all could still work how they want to. Kang could come in trying to warn the avengers and prove he's a better hero. Because he's aware of the change due to his own mechanisms of time manipulation becoming a direct threat to thanos (believing he was the only to remember) and in turn becoming a target by "higher powers" like memphisto.
The endgame being all that they're what they're trying adapt with secret wars.

I was deeply disappointed by the FF/Silver Surfer only by the unbelievable finale which basically shrunk Galactus into being a cosmic cloud. That cast was totally proper in their appearance and chemistry and looked just right.

TBH: Ghost Rider 2 and Punisher 2 flunked because of one reason: Marvel Knights. When they moved production to Marvel Knights and altered the script, story line, and went cheap on the entertainment like the weaker flaming skull and ditching the transforming skull chopper, the profits to them sunk enough to hide Ghost Rider until the TV Series Agents of Shield.

It definitely could’ve had potential…had Kevin Feige not put his foot down and purposefully let it die with a limited budget and little to no effort involved under Jeph Loeb’s (Marvel Television) eye.
In recent years, after the MCU completed shat the bed with the (No Way Home and Werewolf By Night being exceptions) entirety of Phase 4 + Phase 5 so far (GotG Vol. 3, not so much), with just how much praise Feige as the Producer in charge of “making the MCU great”…perhaps it’s time to re-assess that exact notion.
After all, Feige wouldn’t have gotten that position if not for the guy they recently fired: Ike Perlmutter. Seeing how Ike pretty much was the architect of the initial first three phases and Feige being in charge of how they’ll all fit/synergize together in time, after seeing how Feige continuously tries to make new characters by tearing down all the older ones in Phase 4 (and currently in 5), you can now see how little Feige knows about what he’s doing in the aftermath of Perlmutter’s demotion down the ladder into being let go by Bob Iger to save on costs.
I bring up Ike Perlmutter because the Inhumans film was HIS IDEA; since they couldn’t use the X-Men at the time due to 21st Century Fox being separate from them at the time, Ike felt that putting the Inhumans out there in the MCU while giving them the prestige treatment that the MCU would give to build up formerly niche franchises/characters into Worldwide Sensations, they could not only have something that could sell toys/merchandise (since Ike’s genius was in being a Toy Business Magnate)…but eventually be the MCU’s very own surrogate for the X-Man.
That idea SOUNDS INSANE, but at the same time…think about it: you ease into the bigger franchise that they can’t use just yet by BUILDING UP A MISUSED & DORMANT ONE as a major part of the MCU going forward and presto…you’ve not only made the MCU feel bigger and more dynamic/layered, but then you’ve also carried on legacies of Stan & Jack by bringing them into
the 21st Century while making their initial promise/concepts forward and tapped into their fullest potential!
But nah…Kevin Feige had Bog Iger demote Perlmutter to give us something he thought was “better”: Captain Marvel 😂😂😂
Feige never deserved any praise of any sort. He’s too drunk on the hype that Perlmutter and Victoria Alonso (who also go fired for ruining the MCU) were responsible for generating.

I wasn’t much of a comic fan as a kid…the one exception being Ghost Rider. The dark art and storylines, the nuanced characters…blew my mind. Morbius, GR, Blade, Spider-Man, etc…all in a same story arc?! Was insanity at a young age. I think the 2nd movie nailed the look, just barely had a script or dialogue holding it together. If they can recreate the look with an interesting story in the MCU, would be amazing!

I really wish we would have gotten the Gambit Origins movie, it had a lot of potential to open up to other movies. We could have gotten a Rogue origins movie, we could have gotten a movie with Storm and Gambit since she is the one who vouched for him to join the X-Men. We could have had Mr. Sinister, Sabertooth and the massacre of the Morlocks along with Gambits Redemption in that arc.

Gambit was my fav X-men, therefore casting the right actor is critical .. not a big fan of Tatum .. nothing against him but him playing Gambit would’ve been terrible to the character.. that’s my opinion. Honestly the voice of gambit in X-men cartoons is legendary so anyone who got casted would have to nail that New Orleans accent to even come close to the gambit I’ve been a fan of!

The irony surely eludes you, but that comment was easily among the dumbest I've read all year. First off, both Tobey Macguire and Tom Holland have done absolutely stellar jobs in portraying Peter Parker and/or Spider-Man, so being "the worst" of that trio isn't necessarily any indication for a bad performance. Garfield was too confident, attractive and popular to properly portray the nerdy, weak outsider side of pre-bite Peter Parker, but his character arc with Chris Zylka's Flash Thompson, his chemistry with Sally Field's Aunt May, and particularly Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, as well as the levity he brought to his Spider-Man persona were all pretty good. The main issue his movies faced were the scripts, and he proved in No Way Home that he was a great fit for the role.
My main issue with you, however, isn't that you call him a bad Spider-Man. You could have called him the best, and it still would've been dumb, once you followed it up with "I didn't even watch his movies". You're in no position to properly judge the performance, outside of parroting your favorite TH-camrs who may or may not have made any legit points.
Do not look for any stories that have a male lead in the near future for the MSheU. Not until the coffee girl turned executive, is gone.
Bernthal was amazing as punisher especially in in daredevil. Netflix Daredevil is amazing to I think it's my favorite adaptation of any superhero ip. the tone and overall grittiness to it was captured so well. And the season with the punisher was so well written. I'm sad it didn't continue and I've just recently read they recast foggy and Karen for the future Disney+ show which was a terrible call those 3 had great chemistry but leave it Disney to ruin that.
Can't say this for Netflix much recently but they hit it out of the park with Daredevil even though they did to it what they do to all good shows they create cancel it prematurely
I strongly doubt that Netflix would've cancelled it if given the choice. The issue was that Disney wanted it completely under their umbrella and on their platform.

Gambit is the only character that I would have liked seeing developed, but not with Channing Tatum, Taylor Kitsch is a better actor than Tatum. Not particularly disappointed in Garfield’s or McGuire’s cancellation, I actually really like Tom Hollands portrayal, and Tobey doesn’t deserve another chance at anything.

A hulk trilogy that included Grey Hulk and even Maestro would have been great, but I dont think Norton would have played nice with the rest of the Avengers actors. His name was larger than all of the rest combined at that point. A SOny universe Silver and Black movie could be good if you make it like Atomic Blonde. Mostly grounded, strong character , decent plot with solid action.
The reason why the original SPIDER-MAN trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN
It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth
She was the only one capable to tell AVI ARAD when to back off
Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1
Without her, there was no one to stop Arad from destroying the franchise

I hated the tasm 1 suit and peter was a bit of a smart azz and not as nerdy but I did like the story of tasm 1 now the second one love the look of the suit and most of the story and I get the whole peters dad made the spider formula with his own DNA and that's what made the green goblin go crazy but I just thought it was to much and they should have just had the Norman Osborn drank the formula and go crazy and just have peter get bite by a spider of that had unknown DNA or something like that

I liked war zone better then the first punisher movie although it's been a long time I don't really remember it. The only thing I remember is that they killed his entire family at a reunion instead of just his wife and kids. The popularity of the Silver Surfer among comic book fans is unrivaled. Marvel spreads way toooooooooo much time on the Avengers, Wolverine, the Avengers, and the X-Men. We want to Silver Surfer, the Inhumans, Dare Devil, the Illuminati, and more characters from the marvel universe.

It has been well noted that having an unrecognizable cast is a sure way to fail a big budget movie...the average movie goers (which is 95% of the box office) watch films because stars they like are in them
Also, the only Marvel movies that weren't successful were the ones that weren't Marvel Studios properties but the ones done by other studios...which many don't know is what the situation was...many Marvel movies were labeled as Marvel movies because of the characters not the studio
Pretty sure Scarlett Johansson was the only _current_ big name star at the start of phase one, in a superhero role at least.
RDJ was an 80s and 90s bad boy who was a big risk for a starring role, while Chris Hemsworth was a virtual unknown, and Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo were B or C listers.
Thr only other big names in phase one were Samuel L. Jackson (and he got the role largely because the black Nick Fury from the Ultimates universe was designed _based_ on him), Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins.
Plus, it's a big financial risk putting fresh, unknown faces in starring roles in a big budget blockbuster.

Part of what shut down the first Spider man movies is Toby McGuire turned out to be a lawsuit waiting to happen. Telling a woman to bark like a dog for $10,000 and flipping out because she said no is more than just a little problematic. Also Power Pack could not be made in today's industry because of taking years to make a movie and when dealing with kids that doesn't give a whole lot of opportunity to make the most of the franchise.
The scripts woukd have to be ready in advance and the films shot back to back with adults cameoing there, not them someplace else.
But nowadays, it would probably fail because people would want to see siblings and Marvel would deliver girl bosses in the making.

The only reason I'm happy Gambit fell through is because everyone was pushing for Channing Tatum to play him to hard. Channing is a good actor but he's not Gambit
