    Thanks for the Demo Chad. Very interesting. I have turned over 1000 pens and now starting to branch out to bowls etc. Seems there are many recipe's for a myriad of available polishes. TGhanks again for your time. Cheers, Dave, Beachmere, Queensland, Australia

      That's awesome Dave! I bet you have a lot of good tips and tricks as well having turned that many :-) Over the years I have changed up my favorite finishes and products, but overall I have the same way that works for me and is efficient and repeatable well. Thanks so much for watching! and for your feedback!

    How many RPMs are you running while applying your finish? Purchased all three products and look forward to trying it out!

      One other question….just one application of the friction polish is enough?
      I’ve been using Doctors Woodshop and typically use three coats.

      Awesome! We hope you love em! We do 700-900 RPM and yep just a few drops does the trick for us. With the friction polish especially we have found that less is more- but if you want to do more coats you can- just make sure that you wait some time in between :-)

    Can we use bee wax +linseed oil as final finish instead of the friction finish ?

      The instructions for Yorkshire recommend sanding sealer and friction polish, but I don't see why you couldn't use alternatives :-)

    Can you use a buffer

    • @TurnersTv
      @TurnersTv  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      yes, just be careful and light as it would be easy to buff through the finish :-)

    Just wondering how durable this is for a pen that gets used regularly. I also don't like CA, so I have been using Melamine Lacquer

      We have been using it on most all of our wood display pens in the store (that get handled regularly) and it has held up really well for us :-)

      Its the no-scratch one? He didn't buy it a friend gave it to him, which makes me unsure for sure what one to tell you, but you can also use a paper towel, shop towel, shop rag, microfiber etc. I think the owner of Easy Wood Tools uses the blue paper shop towels. Hope that helps!
