Billy… “I luv ya! But you suck!!!! LMFFAO! Between the old TinBasher here and grandpa Harvey the horse! You are definitely totally spoiled by your saw selection when you’re going to cut some tree’s!!! Spoiled rotten in your old age! Ahahaaa! I guess getting to run and play around with these ported saw’s in our old age!!! has definitely made up for being one of the poorer kids around with the old beat up hand me down bike and wardrobe!!! 😂😂😂😂. The funny thing is when you’re a poor kid so are your 6 buddies so you don’t really realize that you are missing anything! And if I hadn’t had a old bike and a bunch of parts I’d have never built my own bike and eventually got into chainsaw building…. It’s really been great to have been able to watch these builders being brought forward and onto TH-cam so that they can share their knowledge and help the whole saw building community grow and get better and better… You I believe were pivotal in knocking down that secrecies in timing numbers and that stuff and get these couple of fellas really building great saw’s for you to run and having all the knowledge of these build’s being right here on TH-cam so that they can make reference and build their own great saw’s! That’s one of the reason’s that I absolutely love and respect TinBasher.. . He say’s I’ll share my knowledge with you and you can build your own saw… as opposed to pumping out a “ported saw” for $ type deal! Gotta just love a 7’ tall saw building singing giant in his bright yellow helmet…singing songs and filing up a chain!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍👍. It’s freaking awesome and beautiful!!!! A 32” lite bar and square and it’s gonna be a freaking super star!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥😯😯🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!!!! Wowed 🤩🤩🤩
I was a fire service mechanic for 31 years. We had old homies on the trucks and they never failed to start and I never did anything except sharpen them. Finally I pulled them from service because I didn't trust the younger firefighters without a chain brake. Today their not a shadow of what they used to be.
The old homers, gotta love them!! 925s and the C-72s , big, ugly and super heavy. But they sure would chew up the wood!! Awesome job on that saw tinman, wish I could do what you do
Just ordered an ignition module from Ryan at wolf creek, nice guy, thanks for the tip. I may never port a saw, I'm an old man and a stock saw will work me down to parade rest I can't catch up to it.
Nice I bought one back in the late 70s whilst living off grid North Coast BC. The saw was awesome in the day cut lots and lots of firewood for the cabin kept the family warm. As well we used them for landing saws for a logging company I worked for. Still have it a good friend indeed , next saw was a sachs dolmar 112 somewhat lighter lol. Good channel cheers.
👍👍👍big thanks for sharing all this with us, looks and sounds the business, love the ground pounder pipe!!. Brilliant build and thanks again for sharing with us
I really like the copper tubing for spacers, it has a little give and will probably be more resistant to vibration than steel, same with the brass wing nuts. And it looks sharp 👍👍👍
Serious job done here...it really has modren saw characteristics, strong idle , and top end with response.. do show how you get over clutch failure..💯👍
Amazing work tin man.. I hope I can build saws half as good as you one day. I have a collection of vintage saws I hope someday soon I'll have the money to send a few your way to be fixed up. Keep up the good work my friend!
That thing flat out rips! Makes me kinda want to do something with the 1050 I picked up 🤔 hopefully you can keep a clutch in it or find something that will work and hold up
I can't wait to get a tig setup for things like custom pipes. For now I make do with my cheap flux core machine. It does the trick but a tig would slick 😎
Love your builds learned so from ya buddy . Thank you so very much! That homelite is a true looking hot rod , red goes faster . She sounds awesome great job . Better the clutch dies than the crank . Love your it takes as long as it takes attitude to your builds . Quality in the making buddy. Have a great weekend I know you will .🪓🌲🇦🇺👍🏻
Hey Tinman. Very cool saw. It has its very own unique look, even the colour and the graphics seem right for the package and she rips! I am curious to see how you adapt the carb situation. Thanks for another great vid.
sounded great ,youll get er dialed, hay and your snow escaped canida and ileaglly crosed the border into nw pa im a need you come get her bring it back home ha ha , see you got it she's a beast
Bigger carb, more fuel needed, makes perfect sense, trenches case, ported to the short hairs, of course it's going to drink gas by the jug... you likely burnt $5.00 bucks worth in a couple of cuts. But as the saying goes... don't build a rocket if you can't afford the fuel and you sir have built a vintage rocket saw. Awesome Tinman, mahalo, weliwelli'oe, nui i ka chainsaw...🤙🤙🤙
HI TINMAN 😊😊 I could tell that U have 2 open the carb up some more sometimes U just have 2 use a oversize carb anyway when they pull more air they make more power thats what U want cutting wood 😊😊 OMG 6 22 2O24
Love it Tinman. thats a beaut 922 you built there. I need your help with a Sachs-Dolmar 120 super and your the only person I could think of or know who has one
Awesome saw! As usual! Can't wait to see more when she will be all dialed-in. I'm very curious what kind of carb you installed to improve fueling right there.

I just finished the first pipe I've made with my new tig welder last night. for my husky 61 with a 66 jug and piston.
I can't wait to get a tig setup for things like custom pipes. For now I make do with my cheap flux core machine. It does the trick but a tig would slick 😎

Lovin!! The builds lately but when you gonna build a 026 pro/ms260
Nice, would be good to see it in a good chunk of hard wood.
That is a beauty saw Tinman! Why do you pull the pull cord out when turning off a saw? Love the channel!!
Brother in power saws! Hope your well and look forward to seeing you soon on your videos. How’s that homelite going ? Looks great…,
That thing is mint!
man that saw pulls some chain holy crap 👍
Love it Tinman. thats a beaut 922 you built there. I need your help with a Sachs-Dolmar 120 super and your the only person I could think of or know who has one
Yep I have a 120 super ported.
@@EricaMTB thank you. Ill look for it
I would raise the metering lever in that carb. It is running lean and have had successes doing it that way.
You better make that saw indestructible before you send it to Buckin. I bet he is laughing right now when you blew up the clutch.
Buckin is gonna love that thing lol
TinMannnnn She’s a beautiful MoSheen!
Hey tin man good job, sounds good. I like the pipe, but did you try to double up on the reeds, make them stiffer. Gets more torque. Great job.👍
Awesome saw! As usual! Can't wait to see more when she will be all dialed-in. I'm very curious what kind of carb you installed to improve fueling right there.
I installed a big carb from the carb bin lol
Yah I have the homelite super XL -925 I need bar & chain some little cleaning of the carbs
Homelites are my fav
Sound like it rips!
SWEET!!!...im going to have to try my hand at case trenching my 925 project...just out of curiosity...what carb did you end up swapping on?...
Sounds like my old 925 until you get it up on the pipe. Then it's pretty crazy.
Sweet video, how bout a modded Remington super 754 in a upcoming video???
That think looks killer!
Thanks I love the looks of this one to.
great job!
Watching a dirtbike video guy had a Stihl shirt on TH-cam brought me here.. I love two strokes but you can’t sit on these ones for long!
