    The best intro to tag fishing I have seen. I appreciated how you covered it all. From tackle to bait. Your explaination and demo of tieing was excellant. As a newbe to this I really learned a lot. I will be fishing mostly ocean. The biggest question is how much weight you use & of course that is a constant change. Please keep up the great video's your producing. You do an excellant job. Thank you.

    My first thought was that I didn't want to watch a 14 minute clip, but I'm glad I did. This was very informative, easy listening and everything this guy says and shows makes sense. I haven't bottom fished for many years, I'm semi retired and want to fish and run my boat every chance I get. I'll have a second rod & reel rigged for blacks in a couple days and can't wait to get out from Halloween YC Stamford, hoping to catch dinner.

    Great video. Very slow and nicely explained. I recently moved to VA and started fishing the Chesapeake bay and watched a very good taug season this year but never knew how to fish for them. Now that you explained it so well, I just need to find the spots.

    • @SouthernReelsFishing
      @SouthernReelsFishing  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! The Tog bite is still really good. As far as the spots just drive along close to the bridge and use your sonar, when you see any structure stop and fish it. It doesn't take much to hold them.

    Do you ever use breakaway line for the sinker which gets caught up the most it seems from my own experiences. I use 10 lb test on 30 lbs test leader for sinker only and rarely loose my hooks on a snag

    I love that you're making your own sweeper jigs I was thinking about doing something similar have you worked out what the price comes to per jig head? Is it really worth it just wondering because here in the Tidewater area as you know there are a lot of snags and sometimes I can end up spending a large amount of money to just lose a lot of Jigs and catch no a fish

    • @SouthernReelsFishing
