Massive Tautog on extremely light fishing rod

I got the guys on some good fishing grounds this trip out. Cliff pulls up his PB on the lightest rod in his arsenal on the jig. It was definitely a battle that most fisherman dream of!

The Dark Matter Skinner Jig and bounce spinner MH 6' 3". I think he stopped makkng the MH though. I am hearing they are M and lighter now.

Hole Challenger Bank 7’ spinner paired with a Stradic 2500 or Vanford 3000

What pound braid and leader do you use for jigs? What pound do you use with traditional hooks and sinkers? Looking to pick up a dark matter rod.

20 lb for the jig, 30lb for the rig. 40 minimum flouro leader.
