the only thing about staff stand still is you have to turn off energy or else they will just stand at the front of the break room after taking their break unless there is a way to make them go back to the spot I originally placed them instead of manually moving them back
Thanks for the idea about the picnic canopy. I've tried a few experiments and this will work really well for my 'underwater' ride. They also work really well around a walking path with tropical reef fish video screens all around. I wish this game had a 'spawn copy' button where you could preset the displacement in each dimension. Would be pretty easy to program and would make linear structures comprised of repeating elements so much quicker and more precise.

I love the spawn thing i found one on the workshop ages ago, and I do the same but always leave the guests to walk to the main turn styles with the entrance gate :)

The contention with glass pieces is they don't want to give us a full glass wall building kit. While the odd bit of glass here and there is o.k. if they gave us a full, snapped to grid, glass toolkit it would encourage players to build huge glass buildings. The fear is players with poorer graphics processors would quickly blow up their computers trying to build skyscrapers & such. The problem is light refraction & light reflection. These properties are very intensive to render. I have two arguments. Firstly, I don't think people really care for these properties & would happily settle for a basic translucent material, even if it doesn't look hyper-realistic. Secondly, I bet there's a way they could turn off these properties when the camera zooms out. Just as certain textures don't render beyond a certain distance, I can see no reason why reflection & refraction FX should either. ... Also, they might just be lying so they can sell it to us in the "Soaked" bundle, which is definitely going to get made because the world would stop turning if it doesn't.

I imagine that their Jurassic World game is essentially a prototype for the "Wild" expansion in many ways. They're clearly concentrating on developing animal AI & releasing what they can. Check out their other developments like Kinectimals & Zoo Tycoon. I believe their development of Jurassic World is just good business sense. They can sell it on brand recognition, even if they're not committed (long term) to that game. I could call it a "cash grab", but I totally get it. They have to keep themselves afloat financially and it wouldn't make sense to pack these experimental features into an expansion for Planet Coaster. Doing that would instantly limit their market reach. Planet Coaster & Elite Dangerous are their primary cash cows. Look at the peripheral projects of Frontier & you'll get a clear sense of where we're going in the future (I believe). It may be that Planet Coaster itself is a prototype for Planet Coaster 2. Never-the-less, I'm quite certain that all roads of Frontier developments lead to an all inclusive & exhaustive theme park simulator. We will get what we want some day, just as long as they're making money on the journey.
I've made some pretty huge windows out of the KITT car skyroofs. A proper building set would just mean fewer pieces for the game to keep track of, which shouldn't hurt performance.

If you place a kerb a the beginning of the path leading to the exit of a ride, preventing guests to enter this path, does it mean they can't cross it to leave the ride? In other words, does it apply in both directions?
Hi does anybody know if a i7700 - GTX 1060 can run planet coaster from your knowledge? If so how easy could it play the game with the amount of guest and scenery items...?
They really messed up with the Kerbs. They do not stop visitor walking over them, only "encourages" them. And i cant belive the new picnic benches doesn't stop guest from walking straight through them :/ Flower pots still the "best" blocker.
They wrote in the release notes that the barriers are a complete block and the kerbs are more of an encouragement. It's definitely the truth if you've looked at different videos coming out of the 1.4 update.
The problem with using Cascade as a boat ride is you'll need a LONG station because the only way to do block brakes is to lift the boat out of the flume
So i recently bought planet coaster off of steam...... can anyone plz tell me how can i get the golden king coaster mascot.....cz i really want tht in my park.....is that discontinued now?????

Y'know, that spawn-point-as-hotel tip might allow one to do TWO different-themed parks in ONE "park" such as MK/EPCOT kind of thing, too.

The flexibility in this game is impressive. Even if something is not meant to be, you can still make it

I really hope to see some larger DLC in the future. Think back to RCT3: Soaked and Wild. I would love to see something like that in the near future.
