it is my home park. In the past it was the best park in Belgium but now Walibi Belgium and plopsaland de panne are getting 2 new elite class coasters it wil not be anymore. But still glad you liked it. With the former owner the overal experience was way better!
We got the Speedy pass Silver to beat waiting lines. The best purchase of the day. This meant reserving a ride and then passing the queues at your reservation time. A blessing, time and time again
like Naga Bay, Typhoon also has a lot of brake runs. if you took Rip Ride Rocket at Universal Studios Florida and combined it with Raging Spirits at Toyko Disneysea and put it on Gerslauers Eurofighters and added 3 heartline rolls, it would be Typhoon
This is my homepark. I've been there a lot of the times (to a point where some things start to get boring). It is a good park to visit with the whole family. My favorite ride there is Sledgehammer but Fury and Indiana River are also good. Except for Dreamcatcher, I don't think this park has any bad rollercoasters it's just not a top tier park. I hope that one day they get a family gravity group wooden rollercoaster but I don't think that will ever happen.
I work at bobbejaanland and i would love if we got a gravity group or a gci but we cant because off noise complaints and the up keep to keep it good woud just be to expensive for the park
Could be the best park in Belgium right now, but next year definitely not. I mean someone could plop down that Walibi Belgium mega in some open field with no other rides or facilities and it would still make that field the best park in Belgium lol
Dreamcatcher (back when it was Air Race) is my first ever credit, and so I'll always have a soft spot for it. And my goodness I was so proud of myself when I worked up the courage to ride Revolution, I still love the ride.
Idc about likes, subscribers, popularity or whatever, you still are the best coaster youtuber in my opinion ❤👍👍I respect your opinion more than those with 100,000+ subs, plus your vids are better, thank you and im glad your channel is growing at a greater rate😁👍👍
Every time I hear about VR on a roller coaster and the subsequent terrible operations, I am relieved that Kennywood never installed theirs onto Sky Rocket (which has the worst capacity in the park).
Probably the best operations this year, at least from my observation, were on the Jack Rabbit. The crew even had a sense of humor, stating that if we went over to tell the crew on Thunderbolt that Jack Rabbit was better, we would receive a free ride.
Bobbejaanland is a solid amusement park. I wouldn't say the best amusement park in Belgium. But it does have many unique rides. Like Dreamcatcher the oldest working suspended vekoma coaster. (not the best coaster) Indiana River is the only log flume that is completely indoor. (very nice ride) Revolution has the longest rollercoaster train in the world. Of course everyone has their own opinion and that is what it makes so interesting and fun.
Have you been to this park since this review? Because I have some questions, such as if they have since removed the VR from their rides like most parks have since done as well as whether they've ever added that skip the line pass or not.
Looks like a charming and funky little park. Definitely hope to get out there someday. Fury looks epic. Also, can you review typhoon, fury, and mount Mara?

Nice review! I love Bobbejaanland and they have impoved quite a bit this summer. They themed the walkway next to Indiana river and with covid they have removed the VR of the coasters.
Ill be honest i think its one of the better parks in Europe, its sure not the best but it has a place up there. Maybe its just the nostalgia that it brings up, or i just think theming is better than walibi and plopsaland in belgium. I dont really know
I don't think it's the best park in Belgium. Walibi Belgium has better rollercoasters and dark rides. And Plopsaland De Panne is much better in both theming and rides/coasters. It's a good third place though.
I also visited this park on a weekday in the summer of 2019. And while I don’t regret putting this park on my itinerary, I did find the atmosphere to be somehow a bit dreary.
Canobie Coaster Yeah. And something to do with the way it was spread out. 🤷♂️ That said, when I went there were a lot of lines for most things, but I think it was a little better than your day. Then again, I got in right at opening, and made a clockwise circle hitting all the rides before it was crowded. By the time I got to Revolution, Fury, and Naga Bay, the lines were long (but not quite as bad as what you report).

I'm hoping I can get to Plopsaland and Walibi Belgium for their new additions next year!
This park kicked off my Europe trip last year, and I have to say it was a surprise!
The only downside was that Fury was not quite ready to open
That's a bummer you missed Fury, but it's a good reason to return!

Definitely helps with this ride!
Awesome review - this park looks good and I’d like to go there in the future!
It's probably not a top European park, but it's in that next tier.
Yes 👍

Typhoon's didn't bother me as much because it helped the hangtime on the barrel rolls.
Fury has an insane pop of ejector on the tophat ;)
When I rode it, I never got the insane airtime on the top hat. The laterals are what stuck with me more.
@@CanobieCoaster How many times did you ride?

I just want another big ride with good capacity to help on busy days.

Every time I hear about VR on a roller coaster and the subsequent terrible operations, I am relieved that Kennywood never installed theirs onto Sky Rocket (which has the worst capacity in the park).
Sky Rocket's line this year was awful with the one train ops and that obnoxiously slow brake run.
Probably the best operations this year, at least from my observation, were on the Jack Rabbit. The crew even had a sense of humor, stating that if we went over to tell the crew on Thunderbolt that Jack Rabbit was better, we would receive a free ride.
@@jonathansima7591 That crew was great. Same with Phantom's Revenge since they rarely stacked that even running 2 trains.

I liked how odd it felt, but the new Walibi Belgium mega coaster will probably change my mind.
@@CanobieCoaster I saw already the complete track of the new Walibi Belgium Mega Coaster. (2 months ago) This will change a lot of minds I think :-)
When you visited did revolution run with or without the sountrack?
I only rode it once so I don't remember.
Great review. You deserve a lot more subscribers 👍
Thanks!

Yes I have. I may update this one to reflect some recent changes. I think they still have VR on their rides at set points in the day.
Which coaster DOES have the longest train? Other people have said it's Revolution here
Chaos at Orpyland had an even longer one!
It seems like a decent park. I had never heard of this one before, but I haven't done a ton of research on Europe.
It has a strange lineup.
Looks like a charming and funky little park. Definitely hope to get out there someday. Fury looks epic. Also, can you review typhoon, fury, and mount Mara?
I already have a review for Fury (it's one of my older ones).

based off my weird taste in dark rides, i think El Paso Special would be my favorite lol
The only thing close to it in the US is the one at Family Kingdom.
@@CanobieCoaster cool

If covid had any benefits, getting VR off coasters is one!
Summer week days in belguim is asking for long waits
I was surprised at the crowds given the capacities of the main rides.

Also its kinda weird that you had to wait so long, i had to wait max 15 minutes on a summer weekend day.
I prefer Walibi, but it's still a good park.
@@CanobieCoaster its a fair choice, idk why i like the other better
i'd say Plopsaland and Walibi were always the better parks even when they didn"t have TRH and Kondaa
I still need to get to Walibi Belgium. I prefer Plopsaland now that they have Ride to Happiness.
Will you ever go to Bon Bon Land
Eventually I hope to make it there, but the coaster lineup placed it behind some of the other parks. The theming there is the main reason I'd visit.
Fwiw, BonBon-Land was a distant fifth out of the five Danish parks I visited.
Don’t need to go SO in depth man, I’m just kidding that’s a good thing!
Lol
Him: bobbejaanland is the best park in Belgium
Walibi Belgium: nah man it’s me
The new mega coaster looks like a game changer.

I haven't been to Walibi Belgium yet, but I agree Plopsaland is better.
honestly i think that is one of the worst Parque Reunidos park i've visited...i think that the only worse one (that i've visited) is Mirabilandia
I enjoy both parks.
I also visited this park on a weekday in the summer of 2019. And while I don’t regret putting this park on my itinerary, I did find the atmosphere to be somehow a bit dreary.
I can see that since the park didn't have a lot of kinetic energy on the midway with a lot of indoor rides, the lack of flat rides, and central lake.

I'd laugh my ass off if Trump bought the politically incorrect dark ride for one of his properties
Lol
How bizzare?
I probably said that a lot because this park is strange.
