I gotta make a correction on 4D coasters: Not all 4D coasters have uncontrolled spins. Rides like X2 and Eejanaika have a seperate track that controls the spin of the riders so you get the same ride every time. However, rollercoasters like Batman the ride at six flags fiesta texas or intamin zacspins do not have a controlled spin so it is a different ride everytime

I can see how VR coasters could be nothing more than an unnecessarily tacked on gimmick to roller coaster enthusiasts, but I'd say just because it's usually not implemented well doesn't mean it can't be done. Give it, say, ten more years for the tech to improve, and for a pioneer coaster to come along and show the others how to do it well. If the VR/AR tech gets good enough, there's basically no limit to the visuals and theming you can add to a coaster ride.

I actually saw monster at gröna lund up close recently and it's tight They even had to cut parts of the roofs of some buildings so that you don't hit it

I went to a very large amusement park with some friends and when we were walking over to their newest coaster, which had an inverted section, there were a bunch of park people and medical people blocking the way so we walked around the crowd, looked up, and saw that the coaster had stopped right where the car gets inverted, so about 30-40 people were trapped upside down for what must have been 80-90 minutes. I learned later that there may have been some pretty serious medical problems due to being upside down for so long, but idk what happened to those people, they were only just getting moving when we were leaving. Absolutely killed MY excitement, though, and really, that’s all that matters.
I really am fascinated but also incredibly scared of insane, high speed roller coasters. Two years ago, I went on the Incredicoaster at Disneyland for the first time and I was really proud. But then after some time as I wanted again, I couldn't do it anymore due to my fear. I really wish I could just go without being afraid.

fury at bobeejeland is the only roller coaster I know off the top of my head that actually varies based on the choice of the riders
