Even though I live much closer to Drievliet and Efteling, my parents always took me to Bobbejaanland as a kid. Dreamcatcher, back when it was air race, was my first credit ever. I don't think the ride would crack my top 15 tbh, I had some really rough rides on it. Glad to see you enjoy El Paso Special as much as I do! This is the first dark ride I've ever done, and it set the bar quite high for me. 18 years later, and I take my nephews to the park for them to get their first credits. This park will always be special to me, I've got so many fond memories of my visits. Hopefully the retheme of Indiana River will be even better!
Really surprised to see El Paso Special so high up. It's so underrated. The ride didn't age that well, but I still find it to be an enjoyable experience. I really like the quirkiness off it. Probably one of my favourites along with Revolution and Fury.
Quite a unique collection, 2 big thrill rides with Typhoon (which looks very underated imo) and a forward/backwards voting Gerstlauer for the thrill seekers. A Vekoma Swing suspended thing that actually looks pretty fun. And some other family attractions. But by far the weirdest thing here is the name of the park.
1. Fury. (Most powerful coaster i have been on. You can choose to go forward or backwards, Waiting in this queue line is pain though) 2. Revolution (Music, lights, theme, awesome) 3. Bob express (not intense but a fun coaster with 2 laps.) 4. Sledgehammer (most intense flatride i have been in) 5. Speedy Bob 6. Dreamcatcher (never had comfort issues on this ride, some nice swings over the water, not intense) 7. Naga bay (Smooth as butter) 8. Indiana River (nice theme, i usually don't get wet. You need some luck) 9. Wildwaterbaan (Its okay, nothing special.) 10. Thyphoon (very rough, bumpy ride IMO. I miss the old 'looping' on the same place. I love old coasters more with the long trains.) 11. Okidoki. (Its quite old i think, and a little bumpy. Its fun and not really intense) 12. El paso (i don't like this kind of ride. It seems to be something that didn't age very well. It did not change much compared to 20 years ago. Its nice for little kids i think. In 30 years i never crossed my mind about it to be stereotypical but hey, its only a few years were they invented woke massahysteria. allegedly the founder of the park loved the USA, country music and created a USA themed park at 'home'. So he made Bobbejaanland, it envolved into a theme park we know today. So Its no suprise some western themes are still in the park included cowboys, indians, etc...)

Park has something for everyone! I still love Pirates, so I have an affinity for things not ALWAYS PC. I love the quirky eclectic selections of attractions.
Off topic but I FINALLY figured out why our experiences on Zamperla Star Shapes are so different. In 2019, Zamperla recalled the ride and added magnetic brakes to the carriages greatly reducing spinning. They also calmed the program and disallowed manual operation. It's a shame, especially considering the Top Scans in the US run awful programs and there isn't one touring the UK. On topic gotta love that Schwartzhoff style loop, I'm actually really surprised Knobles didn't ask for classic styling like that on Impulse.
This looks like a very fun place! My guess is the word "Bob" means train? That Pleasure Garden Ride sounds like a hoot. If I visited this place and saw these stereotypes,, I'd definitely have a low score with the shooting, due to all of the laughing I would do when I saw these gags. There was this one part of Pleasure Garden where there was a cowboy chasing around a "Lady of the Night" around a brothel; it reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean as they have the same gag too. Love it. Great countdown
@@CanobieCoaster That was my second guess. My first guess was train lol, because the 2 rides in the video with the name bob was the coaster that looked like a train and also the mine train ride. 🤣 Fun coincidence though.
Indiana River will not be removed. It will be rethemed instead as far as i know.
Indeed the theme will be changed to a vulcano
Glad the ride system is being saved! I had heard the ride hardware was going too.
Great Video 👍 Speedy Bob was the first Coaster I‘ve ever ridden.
Nice!

I wish I rode it when it was Air Race.
fury is a very nice coaster and typhoon is a strange but wonderful coaster
Yes

At Bobbejaanland, what would you rate Dream Catcher? What would you rate Revolution?
They're not my favorite coasters, but they're ok.

Fury definitely is the star. I agree El Paso definitely has not aged well and I would not be surprised if it gets modified.
Forget about Indiana River. El Paso Special is the ride that has to be rethemed.
Wouldn't be surprised if it is one day.
Interesting how almost all the rides where better in the past
I haven't ridden Indiana River since the retheme so I can't judge that one.
I feel like cedar point could/would totally do a fury type coaster now that ttd & tc are going/gone
Capacity would be an issue at a big park like that.
@@CanobieCoaster true :( sad
Why Is Indiana River Being Removed? It Still Looks Like It Could Go On For A Few More Years :(
R.I.P
It's getting a massive overhaul and retheme. ;)
I was mistaken as others have said. It's just being rethemed, not removed.
It’s no surprise that fury is number one it’s the best ride
I agree.
Indiana river closed yesterday 🥺🥺
I'm excited to see what happens to it.
30 Cars long! that's crazy!
Sure is.
Great list as per usual, your lucky to go to all of these parks! 👍
I worked hard through school to get a good job that can support travel.
@@CanobieCoaster I bet ya!
Correction: Indiana river isn't getting removed next year, its only getting a re-theme
Great to hear! I had heard it was being removed entirely.
@@CanobieCoaster should have a volcano theme next season
It’s great to work there ☺️
The staff is great!
A real nice park with some great rides
Sure is.

My rides on Star Shapes were in 2017 and 2022. I preferred my 2022 rides.
@@CanobieCoaster Was the experience very different in 2017? I'm wondering if the recall was earlier there isn't a lot of info on it.
2 is quite an experience that would never be built here
Without a doubt.

No, Bob comes from the founder of the park Bobbejaan Schoepen
@@0z3r0 That was my second guess 😎
Nope, the park is named after the original owner.

I can’t help but call it “bobby-jean land”
Lol
is the muppet show any good
I like the movies.
I think Forbidden Caves looks like a fun dark ride. What do you think?
It's not good.
