I have recently come across your channel and really enjoy your amazing reviews with the fuji film recipes you like, Goughie. Thank you so much for the detail you provide, I have already learnt a lot from you and absolutely LOVE your personal 'versatile' film recipe you shared with us. I have been loving using that, so thank you again! Your hard work is appreciated.

Agree. I only recently discovered Mike’s recipe and it’s great. Unlike most recipes, it does not feel gimicky, but it’s really useable in everyday life.
how different would be a recipe based on classic chrome (that also have the x100f) with the results on the x100v?, i have a x100f and i want to try them!
Great video, I agree, for my eyes "MIKE CHUDLEY - PERFECT V2" looks the best, I loaded that baby up on my X-H2s, can't wait to try it out this weekend!
i was wondering why the kojakgold wasnt looking right, i had it set to +1 1/3 EV instead of +1/3 🤦♂. do you know if there is a plug in or something to input fuji recipe settings straight into lightroom? would make the workflow must easier.
I always seen your videos here and there but finally subscribed after seeing how good your taste was for Fuji recipes. I really like the one you shared using astia.
Really enjoyed this video. Loved the comparisons and the editorial comments about usability. I watch a lot vids and tend to lurk and not comment… this video deserves a comment to acknowledge how good it is. Keep it up.
Excellent video on one of my favorite topics. I particularly enjoy the inclusion of your photos to illustrate the recipes. Would you mind telling me how you make the white border/frame? All the photos displayed are very uniform in size, etc. Please keep the videos coming...
The white board isn’t actually a part of the photo at all! it’s done at the video editing stage. It’s literally a white box the same shape as the image increased in scale a little For socials I used the app unfold to add borders Thank you for watching!
Great video, thanks for sharing your favorites! But Roman's recipe is MINUS 4 though😅 funny because you say how you like the plus four colour setting, but on his website it certainly says minus, if I'm correct.
LOVE these videos of you showing selected recipes. Keep it up :) Would love an ep. with the most film-like recipes. Also love the comparison in the end, keep it up!
Sporting of you to recognize your peers, Goughie. Comparisons a plus. How often do you color calibrate your monitors? Do you use reference photos from recipe authors? Cheers!
One question. Mh when the camara is set in a different language Nc is the same as Classic Negative? Can I use these recipes in the Fuji Converter also on RAWs? Or is there a possibility to save those in Lightroom too? Thanks for helping… 😊
Goughie, you might like my Warm Stone recipe. I get the decision to go AWB, and I tend to do so. But when you're trying to impose limitations on yourself (for fun's sake!), it also makes sense to do a fixed WB, like analog film stock.
Epic video Goughie! The work in comparing all of these recipes and crediting the creators is fantastic. I am biased in picking Roman Fox's recipe this time cause I love his channel and learned so much from his work, but the Kojack also really got my eye. I love green tint :D Cheers mate!
I'm running a X-S20 and I never know whether to use the recipes (on Fuji-X Weekly) that are designed for the X-Trans 4 or 5.... Just because it has the older sensor, but the newer processor.... 🤷♂
There are subtle difference between the recent cameras, but recipes look similar I hear. The fun in is the testing and finding out which looks suit you, adjusting them if you feel the need
Bit of a noob to photography and color(recipes). Just for fun, I would like to take some pictures and give them a bit of "Barbie style". Any (easy) tips on how to do this?
This all seems good and well but whenever I use any sort of custom recipe the speed of my camera slows down immensely. I’m running on the x100v and I can’t shoot with out the “storing” message popping up. Anyone know why or how to fix?
The metering mode is entirely up to you and what you’re shooting, has little to do with the colours Most of the recipes have what exposure compensation to use in the description
@@noisiboi7308 literally just clarity! I mention in this video a couple times that I turn it off on most recipes! Having it process is soooo annoying! No worries! Thank you for watching!
Have to admit I bought the Xt5 due to the recipes but still prefer to edit my own in Lightroom. The recipes just aren’t that great. Everything I see just seems average.
I think my opinion is that I like the fact I have the JPEGS for a quick share to socials, I do however still edit most of my photos in lightroom! It’s not a replacement for editing more of an additional option

Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad you’ve found some some value in it all!
Very rarely do I hit subscribe but the way you gave everyone credit and just shared all the recourses. Excited to binge your videos
Really liked the last section that you put all 5 recipes together.

Indeed! Fujifilm is one of the best community ❤️
good selection, every time I see such a video from you I think that I should make a new recipe. :D
You really should! You’ve got high standards to uphold though!
Loaded kojak gold up, shooting in Bruges today with it! Great video
First like and view here, brother!
And comment! 💪🏻
@@Goughie You're a big inspiration.
Kojak Gold looks really good! I can’t wait to try it out on my XT5 🔥 Thanks for sharing.
My favorite would have to either be Perfect V2 as well or Kojak gold. Thanks for sharing these! Btw am also a big fan of your astia recipe.
Thank you! I still use my recipe a lot! 👌🏻 I use it for video too!
Thank you!
Question: These are available to use in bracketing? Follow up, ways to bind film simulation bracketing to custom profiles?
Great video, thanks for sharing your favorites! But Roman's recipe is MINUS 4 though😅 funny because you say how you like the plus four colour setting, but on his website it certainly says minus, if I'm correct.
I have a fuji x-m1 and I’m not really able to change anything…so do you know how to add these film recipes afterwards? 🥺🙏
Thx.

About to add Kojak Gold to my recipe list, I typically edit my raw images with those tones.
I cant pick between Mike and the Kojak. So good

Do these recipes work on the Fuji xt1? Thanks so much for this video :-)
You’ll only be able to input some of the settings, and I think you’ll have to remember the offsets or write them down

Hi! Thanks for this video 🤗 I always like to discover some recipes!
I have a question, how it works with older camera (I have an X-pro 2)? Thanks 🇫🇷
Key in as many settings as you can! A few will be missing so it won’t be exact but should be somewhat close
Cheers. I didn't see your recipes you mentioned in the end of the video. You pointed towards them but I didn't see them

Kojak Gold reminds me a Garrett King color style.
can i use this recepies in fujifilm xa5?
Can you please make those recipes for the Ricoh??? Please
I’m debating a video on Ricoh recipes to see if they are any good! The guy behind fujixweekly has shared some settings for Ricoh!
MIKE CHUDLEY White Balance: Auto, White Balance: Auto, +2 Red & -3 Blue . In your video RED +12 + ? ?
Typo! Oh maaaaan
@@Goughie Alrighty 😊🍭🍭
yeah, try it red like hell😂😂😂
Everyone finds out what Fuji weekly recipes are and everyone creates just about the same recipes as he does but just renaming them LOL
I mean, there are only so many toggles and variables you can adjust and the guy has like a whole gazillion of them on FujiX Weekly
Fuji xXx !!!! Weekly ;-)

Bit of a noob to photography and color(recipes). Just for fun, I would like to take some pictures and give them a bit of "Barbie style". Any (easy) tips on how to do this?
interesting thought, I think the hard part would be trying to define exact what Barbie style means
I love my x-pro 1 but I feel so limited in film recipes:(
perfect v2 RED is +12?
Is the Red adjustment in the white balance supposed to be +12? Or is that a typo?
Typo! +2!

I’ve googled and googled…. No luck. What is the recommended metering mode for these recipes and the +1/3 or +2/3 EC? Thanks!
The metering mode is entirely up to you and what you’re shooting, has little to do with the colours
Most of the recipes have what exposure compensation to use in the description
My X-T100 won't let me adjust my film simulation.
why i cant adjust the red on wb to +12 the max is +9 im using xs10 btw
It’s a typo, supposed to be +2
If only Fuji would address how much slower these recipes make the camera. The sight of 'processing' makes me just go back to shooting RAW.
Are you aware it’s only the clarity setting that causes it?
@@Goughie is it really? I thought it was just the level of changes involved in each recipe. Thanks for the tip mate, and keep up the content!
