Purgatory Canyon 1866: Skirmish and Patrol

This American Civil War campaigner reenacting event for civilians, infantry, and cavalry will immerse you in what life was like in 1866 Colorado Territory.
Infantry marched 12 miles with full kit - this includes musket and knapsacks. 22 men started the march and only 9 made it to the end.

we had a few men suffer from the heat and took the "wagon" ride to camp. It was not and a dry heat ... we drank as much as possible. hope you like our adventure pard and thanks for the comment. --LT

Yes Sir! this is one of 2 fundraisers the Battery attends each year - similar format for both - lots of fun and also enables the group to properly maintain gear. thanks for watching.
