Good video just sold my 800 just waiting on the 1550 but it’s so hard just settling around when they can’t give you an answer as to when it will be here
Why did you sell the rotadairon and how do you like the Harley rake

I feel you on that brosky, waiting is no fun especially with no real answer on timing. I liked the rotadairon but it will catch irrigation pipes if they are not at proper depth which I learned many yards we worked on were not LOL. The rotadairon also couldn't move dirt. With the harley rake you can push piles of dirt into places and get things relatively smooth before you begin hand raking. The rotadairon was really only a going in reverse type attachment. It was nice but for what I do for example with like sod installs I prefer to usually use a non selective herbicide on our new lawn renovations and kill the turf then cut it out with a sod cutter and just push it all to the street and into piles. That way the soil isn't all loosened up and nothing gets damaged.

Do you know what the weight capacity is using the forklift? I mainly need it for moving stones and pavers so the forklift attachments is what i need. buying the other attachment could come later though. yo can do a lot with one machine, thanks.

Hey man. Nice machines .. can u talk to us about twin stick steering vs single joystick . I'm on the fence which is better ? Thank you

Sorry for the slow reply budd, I would say twin stick is definitely the way to go. I wasn't a huge lover of the single for tight areas. It will be great especially when putting a track back on it will be much easier to move one side of the macine independently.

Is there a difference in aux hydraulic flow rates?

Hey budd, yes the sk1550 is at 16gpm and the sk800 is only 12 gpm. Both are great for normal use and you wouldn't notice a huge difference if you weren't trenching or grinding for long periods of time. The 1550 is definitely better flow but not 20,000.00 dollars better flow if you know what i'm saying. The sk1550 really shines when dumping high or lifting heavy.

    Would you buy a 3000?

Currently no, we do not do any projects that require moving anything more than the sk1550 will move. Also it is a much larger machine and would take alot of space on our trailer. Another thing to think about is it would require an entirely new set of attachments being that it runs the full size skid steer attachments. For residential installs the sk1550 is the best machine in my opinion but for large commercial jobs the sk3000 may be what you need. If you're moving full pallets of sod around or block alot then the sk3000 may be better however it is best for large jobsites with much more space in my opinion. I focus on residential removal and install so for me the sk800 and sk1550 are absolutely perfect for 99% of the things we do and the 1% we do not do I wouldn't want those jobs anyway to be honest if you know what I mean.
