Brilliant just getting into the hobby myself using a simlex. Can't wait to.go out and find
Hello John. 👋
Yeah the Simplex is a great machine. I’m sure it will serve you well. It’s certainly found me a lot of nice finds. 👍
It’s a fantastic hobby and great community.
The only advice I can give you is. Dig everything to start with. So you learn what the machine is saying.
Even though my videos show all these nice finds. It’s not as easy as it looks.
What I mean is. You have to dig a lot of rubbish to get to the nice finds.
So don’t be put off if you’re not finding straight away. It will happen.
And through time, you’ll learn the machine. And it will get easier.
If you have any questions. Just fire away. I’m more than happy to help you if I can.
All the best out there. Good luck & HH 👍😉
Can I use any wireless headphones for the simplex +
@@johnkushnirenko4337
Hello John 👋
1 ) Nokta Makro Wireless Headphones
The Nokta Makro Blue and Green Edition 2.4GHz Wireless Headphones are both compatible with the Simplex+ detector.
The Simplex+ WHP Metal Detector has a pair of Nokta Makro Green Edition Wireless Headphones already included as part of the package.
2) Nokta Makro EZ Wander Wireless Module
You can connect any wired headphones with a 6.3mm (1/4″) plug to any Nokta Makro metal detector including the Simplex+, via the Nokta Makro EZ Wander Wireless Module.
The EZ Wander Wireless Module forms a wireless bridge between your wired headphones and the Nokta Makro Metal Detector. Plug your wired headphones into the EZ Wander which you can clip on your belt. The EZ Wander is then connected wirelessly to the detector enabling wireless audio to your detector.
3) Other 2.4GHz Wireless Headphones
You can connect other compatible 2.4GHz Wireless Headphones to the Simplex+.
While Nokta Makro has not as yet published a list of compatible headphones, we know that there are users successfully using Garrett Z-Lynk Wireless Headphones. You will require the Garrett Z-Lynk Wireless Audio Kit.
We will attempt to keep an updated list of known compatible Wireless Headphones here.
Simplex+ Compatible Wireless Headphones
Nokta Makro Green Edition Wireless Headphones
Nokta Makro Blue Edition Wireless Headphones
Garrett Z-Lynk Wireless Headphones
Hope this helps you
@@NortheastSearcher hi mate do you know of anyone selling headphones for simplex +
@@johnkushnirenko4337
Hello John, I’m afraid I don’t. Sorry
I’ll keep an eye out for anyone selling some. I’ll let you know though 👍
Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year 🎄🥳👍
Great finds! glad I found your channel! I just got a Simplex and having fun figuring it out!
Hello Traveling Treasure Finder
Thank you for your kind comment, I’m glad your enjoying the videos.
If you check out the video description. It tells you my settings for the Simplex. Hope it helps.
One thing I noticed with the Simplex is. It’s a sound machine.
What I mean is!
Sometimes the numbers seem to be a bit jumpy and erratic. But the tone is there and it sounds good.
9 times out of 10, it’s a digger.
As long as it’s got a nice repeatable tone. It’s usually a good target to dig.
Until the next one, take care GL & HH 👍😎
@@NortheastSearcher Thank you! I have noticed it is a "chatter box"😜 I do really enjoy it so far! You take care as well!

Hello Steven,

You’ll not go wrong with the Simplex. It’s a fantastic machine. It’s very sensitive to the small stuff and goes very deep.

I loved the silver ring! And the brooches were so cool! You killed the silvers and I've never seen the cut coins. Wow!
Thank you Julie, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. It really means a lot to me.
Yes the silver hammered coins, cut half’s are tiny. They ring up around 26 VDI on the Simplex.
Take care GL & HH 👍
Cut silver coin nice,I never found any before.
Hello and thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 👍
The cut half’s are really tricky to find with any machine. With them being so thin and small.
I’ve only found a couple on pasture before.
But the best chance of finding them is on ploughed fields.
As it’s luck of the turn, if they get brought to the top layers. So we can detect them.
I’m sure it will happen some day, it’s usually when you least expect it.
Until the next one take care GL & HH 👍😉

Well done guys from Newcastle. Maybe bump into you one day.
Hello Richard, thank you for watching. I’m glad you liked the video 👍
Take care GL & HH my friend 👍
Why not carry other than the weight a water spray bottle to spray the stuff off with?
You were on the silver and jewelry 👍. I love the cut coins! That Simplex was treating you right😎
Hello Randolph. Thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
It certainly was treating me right. It’s a great little machine.
I just wish they could drop the iron tone break from 15 down to 10. I’ve had a Roman silver Denarius coin ringing in the mid 20s and some of the cut half’s also.
So if they were any deeper or if they were on end. I think it would have been an iron grunt.
Take care my friend GL & HH 👍
Just got myself a simplex and just getting used to it. Any tips on the numbers and what search modes you use and weather you notch out any number. Been using minelab exterra 305 for years so I'm really struggling with the nokta at the moment. Any tips would be appreciated.
Hello and thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video 👍
I’m on V2.77
• Park 1
• Full sensitivity or as high as you can get it.
• Iron volume 2-3 bars. I like to hear the iron. If you drop it down to one or off. It can alter the reactivity of the machine.
• I don’t notch anything out I run it wide open.
And I always do a manual ground balance.
Field mode is the deepest mode but the slowest. There’s not much between field mode and park 1 Depth wise. And park 1 I a fast program.
I was using the XP Deus for ploughed and the CTX 3030 for pasture. But I’m really liking the Simplex at the moment. It does really well.
Take care GL & HH 👍
Its a cut Spanish Reale.
Curious? I Also Have A Simplex Here In The USA. What Are You Using To Clean Those Coins So Well?
Hello Joseph,
I just use lemon juice. Just dip the brush in the juice and quickly brush the coin. Then rinse it off with water. Them leave them to dry out overnight. Then treat them with Renaissance wax. But the wax can be quite expensive.
So you can even use cheap hairspray to coat the coin and seal it up. Let them dry. Before storing. 👍
imagin it was the other half of the cut half
wow
Hello and thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
Take care GL & HH 👍
i thought silver coins were supposed to tarnish in the soil, never seen so many coins come up nice and clean, you must have fairy liquid in your soil, nice finds though
Hi. Some silver coins. Like pre 1921 are made of full silver. They mainly come up tarnished. But after 1921 up until 1947 they are made from 50% silver and come up pretty clean.
On some of my permissions I do have good soil. Even the copper coins come up in amazing condition.
@@NortheastSearcher ARE YOU A MEMBER OF A CLUB,I FIND IT HARD TO GET PERMISSION, UP HERE, MOST FARMERS AND LAND OWNERS DONT WANT TO KNOW, I LIVE IN GATESHEAD
@@grahamoutterside7163 Hi. No I’m in no club’s.
Yes you’re right, It is hard to get permissions up this way. But there’s always a farmer out there who will say yes.
I try to get friendly with them.
Because all the farmers keep in touch with each other. So I find if you get friendly with them they can open doors to other farmers. Who normally just say no, when walking up and knocking on the door. That’s helped me a lot in getting new permissions.
I don’t know what it’s like out of the area. But around these parts. We get a lot of night hawking and poaching, So I think the farmers are sick of it. So I try and build my trust up with them.
Hope it helps you out in some way. But that’s how I do it. 👍😉
@@NortheastSearcher Hey buddy the pre 1919-20 are 92.5% silver with copper to make them more resilient to wearing, loads of my silvers also come up gleaming, it’s down to the fact that silver is a noble metal. It also depends on the nitrates in the soil, modern fertilisers will kill coins.
@@welshgoldferret5107 Hi. Yes I’m pretty lucky to have decent soil in my area. Even the copper coins come out in great condition.
Thank you for the info though. It’s much appreciated 👍
Take care GL & HH
