I originally got the simplex, in fact, 2 for less than I would have spent for the nox I wanted. Both my wife and I now have machines that work perfectly fine for tot lots and relic. We took them to the beach and did just fine. Hope you continue to learn it. See you next video.
Killin it! The simplex is great in parks. Especially the grass. I love those tungsten rings, but yea they’re always coming in like a penny 😂. In fact a lot of good stuff sounds like a penny on the ‘ol plexer 🤷♂️😆
The simplex is a simple to use but killer machine, especially for the money. It won't let you down and is a coin magnet. But don't expect it to be as quiet as your equinox in the wet sand because it's single frequency, but in the dry sand it's awesome. The sp24 coil on there is an ideal combination and one of my favorites. It's the perfect Christine machine! Great hunt!
Nice one Bill. I like my simplex pared with the sp24 and it has been solid. Pulled my first half dollar 2005 in park yesterday that rang up quarter. I like running field mode full sensitivity and like hearing the tones with the different metals, and it’s deep. Found gold on penny tones so I have to remind myself not to skip the pennys. Found lots of gold and silver in the beach sand too. My first beach peso was ringing tent stake so I like hearing iron. Thanks Bill for another great hunt 👍🏻
Thanks... I was really enjoying myself on these grass hunts. I am getting better with the Simplex....turning out to be a better detector than I expected.
@@DigginSoCal The Simplex is probably one of the best at recovery Speed and Separation hands Down. (my opinion) And I do also know it is a silver magnet. When you swing over silver you know You have silver. Best of Luck On your Next Adventure..
Great hunt, Bill, I love that machine. It is awesome, but it is not a salt water machine. It is single frequency, so it will always be chatty. The best advice I could give you is to take your ground balance to zero, and it will be quieter. I had that machine for a year and then I got the equinox so that I could hunt near the salt water. Hope you have an awesome day!
Thanks Kevin. I really am starting to like this detector. Went back over some gold items again just to refresh my memory. Gonna get some gold with it eventually...
Great video Bill. Looks like you cleaned up on change and pull tabs. You know what they say, "You've got to dig them all. For every 100 pulltabs, you get a gold ring (or a tent stake) ." You're due. Glad you like the SP24. It's a great little coil.
I wish that Symplex had a 1.5 volume! The Nokta pin pointer I think is about the only one that doesn’t interfere tremendously with that machine, I did the same thing with the mute button constantly with the Garrett carrot Ahhhhh! Nice hunt Bill
I am glad you mentioned the volume...the first bar is to soft and the second bar is too loud. Grrrrr... But I forgot to unmute it less and less as I got more use.... funny and frustrating at the same time.
I have had great success with my Simplex (it's now my backup to my Nox 800) in fields and parks. It also does decent in dry sand away from the water. Where I've never had success with it is in wet and near the water. Which is unfortunate because it's really a great machine at an even better price point. Glad to see you're enjoying it!
Bill I just got back from using my Simplex. I love it. Just a suggestion though I have a generic pin pointer. If you change your frequency It stops the static that the machine gives off. I do have trouble at the beach in beach mode with my head phones I just turn down them. Ground balancing the machine again in wet sand helps also. Thank you for sticking with it. I work in Sacramento area on weekends would love to get together at some tot lots.
Awesome hunt Bill 👍🤓. I love the small coil on mine, if you drop sensitivity to one bar it's great for getting between the playground toys n poles. Great hunt👍🤓👍
Great info...thank you and I really had a nice time. Ended up being stopped by several people and chatted a lot which is part of the fun of being out there.
Good hunt bill, I loved the tungsten ring you found. This is the only style ring I wear. I have many colors and many color combinations. Looking forward to the next one. That machine worked really well. Take care.
Have some patients with the plex, it’s a great machine! Most all the silver rings I’ve dug have been 59-69. And gold rings 19-29. So yeah dig all the trash pennies and nickels. It will surprise you more often than not…. Great video! Keep it up!
Great Hunt. The Simplex was my first machine and I loved it. It's powerful single frequency just lights up everything in parks, tot lots, and dry sand. Honestly, I wouldn't bother trying it in the wet set. It just doesn't have the ability to tune out all the chatter you get from the salt water without muting all the treasure. You need a Nox, Legend, or Deus to deal with salt water and black sand.
Thanks and I totally agree. I have better detectors for the surf so it does not make sense to try. I have a Legend (used) on the way. Looking forward to trying that one too.

I guess I am gonna have to practice. I am no Christine but I will do my best next time...lol. Thanks for giving me another chance.
@@DigginSoCal I don't know either of you, but it seems clear there's only one Christine. Still, your efforts might be hilarious and I wonder if Abraham Lincoln ever used the be-do sound effect? Seems like a good question for historians.
What is the relationship between these two? Anybody? I like their videos and watch them a lot but that's a nagging question I always have.

@@DigginSoCal 🤔 If That's the case.....Ask Christine if she'll Marry Me!!! 😍🤗😘!!!!!
Stop buying this brand .I’m not sure the quality is not good or I’m just bad luck . Mine stop working after digging for 4 times . The worst thing is the poor after service. There is only one guy who’s in charge in the service. How and How long it’s going to be fixed all depending on his mood.Mine detector started not working in June . Until now July 28 it’s still not fixed.
Bill you have someone sending people requests to talk on Telegram
Yeah... I just reported and deleted them all....grrrrr
@@DigginSoCal I don’t like it when bad people do this to nice people like you guys
I also have a Simplex. Wouldn't consider any other machine.
