Thanks for the video! I actually decided to switch from my iPhone 12 Pro Max (gave it to my mom) and so far it's been quite enjoyable. There are some odd screen glitches and lag I've noticed at times; but having the headphone jack, microSD card, and the removable battery is far worth it IMO. Lastly, I do wish that this phone was rootable in order to be able to degoogle it to an extent (ie: grapheneOS with pixels phones).
funny you mention that, I run an iPhone 12 Mini and the older XCover Pro, and find myself using the XCover 90% of the time. looking to upgrade to the 6 Pro soon though

I think Xcover 6 pro is more attractive hardware-wise; it has removable battery, 3.5mm headphones jack, led indicator, and programmable physical buttons. The lcd display is not as good as the AMOLED display on 13 pro max and the mono speaker system is awful for listening to music. But, overall, I would say it's pretty attractive phone.
Well, you did show that you can put the XCover Pro battery into an XCover6 Pro phone and make it power up, but does that really prove compatibility? Batteries placed into a device for which they were not designed can develop subtle problems that evolve over time, potentially affecting performance and safety. LiPo batteries are especially sensitive to such factors, and their malfunctions can be especially consequential. It's intriguing, given the difficulty in obtaining the XCover6 Pro batteries, but have you considered these possible dangers?

Help! I just ordered a Xcover 5 as my new phone, mainly for the interchangeable battery, but now I can't order a separate battery anywhere! Every web shop I visit says 'out of stock', it's horrible! Is there an alternative, or should I return my yet to be received phone back to the seller? (and yes, the specs of the 5 a sufficient for me, the newer xcover model is just way too expensive, big and heavy..)

Hi. No, I've only tested Samsung OEM batteries only.
Aftermarket batteries don't have the NFC antenna on them.
