The one time you don't mind missing the elevator when seeing an obvious group of trained men and one guy using a costume in the center looking alarmed.

I like how Cap is analyzing everything from the very minute people enter. From the guy slightly holding his stun baton to the guy sweating. And when he finally realizes what’s going the music picks up perfectly.
I've always loved Grimlo aka Crossbones. 99% of the time in a movie fight, the final character fighting the hero runs away or just gives up. Even though he and Cap are in an elevator and EVERYONE else is down, he still thinks he has a chance.

Cap pulls it off. Other people have tried it as an intimidation tactic and it's pathetic. In one way, it's good that he's out of time. If he'd seen enough Pop Culture, he'd have seen how cringeworthy that ssentiment usually is.

And is then immediately pinned to the wall within the 1st second of the fight lol
At first I assumed he was trying to position himself between the tactical team and the "civilians" to protect them until he realizes they might be in on it too. Now I think he may have just wanted a better view of them so he could size them up. Some of the civilians leave and more guards come in before he calls everyone out.
1:38 🖤
He's always so polite!! 🛐
If I were one of those guys, I would've taken the offer.
The one time you don't mind missing the elevator when seeing an obvious group of trained men and one guy using a costume in the center looking alarmed.
Alarmed? I think you meant to type "amused"
They were probably thinking the music was playing for them
"Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?"
*Oh shit, he's hearing it, too*
UNDERRATED COMMENT
All the other guys:
Why do I hear boss music?
😂😂😂😂😂
It's just like this one anime where the MC has their background music playing whenever they're about to do something on screen. Even the bad guys are like "There's that music again before I got defeated."
The part where he spoke was just absolutely perfect
Well it's good but I wouldn't say perfect
Cap: "Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?"
--- silence in the elevator
--- Everyone except Rumlow/Crossbones gets out at the next floor
Rumlow turns around with a worried smile : "Now that I think about it, why are we figh..."
--- Get's violently thrown against the ceiling mid speech
Without a doubt, the best "when the doom music kicks in" edit out there. Very well done!
You need to see the Punisher one, then
I love how calm Cap was when he knew something was going on and even gave his attackers a chance to just walk away.
This is the most appropriate use of doom music outside of the actual game I have ever heard
🍷👍 I know right!
Close second to Kingsmen's church massacre, but yeah, fits damn good.
I like how Cap is analyzing everything from the very minute people enter. From the guy slightly holding his stun baton to the guy sweating. And when he finally realizes what’s going the music picks up perfectly.
Pre-MCU, I never really had an appreciation for Captain America. But you gotta appreciate the guy's tactical prowess.
This is one of the coolest moments in any action movie IMO.
This just satisfying. I'll never get tired of rewatching this everytime I see this.
"Before we get started...". Such a great line.
this is the perfect reprensation for what doom music is all about. the calm before the rush into bloody violence.
I won tickets to the premiere in Germany 2 weeks before the official start. So freakin awesome. Something I'll never forget.
"Before we get started, does anyone want to call their family?" -Deadpool
& say goodbye.
or should I say, 1 last time.
@@peterkerr4019 Yes, it's implied...
Not going to lie, halfway through the fight, I forgot there was a new soundtrack because it flowed so well. Nice editing.
I've always loved Grimlo aka Crossbones. 99% of the time in a movie fight, the final character fighting the hero runs away or just gives up. Even though he and Cap are in an elevator and EVERYONE else is down, he still thinks he has a chance.
It’s Rumlow
@@charlie_conn235 Thanks for the correction.
Frank grillo is jacked as fuck I hate that he was wasted crossbones I can’t think of anyone of the top of my head who he could play but I got serious wolverine vibes when I saw him shirtless in “boss level”
That's just arrogance taken to levels of stupidity; nothing to admire.
steve has confidence
rumlow has arrogance
It was really respectful of Mick Gordon pausing the song to let Cap finish his speech.
This is one of the best action scenes ever put to film. I had _way more_ respect for the MCU after watching this movie. 💯
Agreed. This is my favorite fight in the entire MCU.
@@embrown1442000 Possibly still their best film. Very tight with very little fat.
Nah its not
@@Ragnar-gl6lyhell it is. By a mile.
@@LucanoGaming then u have not seen many movies
This scene is simply put, a cinematic Mona Lisa. These movies have gone above and beyond what takes place in the fantastic imagination of a child, to deliver some of the most epic visual effects and action sequences of our lifetime.
An absolute masterpiece, everytime I see this clip pop up on my feed I gotta watch it again.
Gotta love it when the intended target gives you the chance to leave.
Cap pulls it off. Other people have tried it as an intimidation tactic and it's pathetic.
In one way, it's good that he's out of time. If he'd seen enough Pop Culture, he'd have seen how cringeworthy that ssentiment usually is.
1:38 that moment of mercy. A gentleman soldier
Cap isn't just fighting them he's also fighting himself in the sense that he's having to pull a lot of his movements and punches. What do think would happen to a normal person who got hit by someone who could lift 900lbs-1200 or so with out breaking a sweat.....Love this scene!
I live for that little pause you put in between the buildup and the actual. Actual peak editing.
I love that steve uses the magnet cuff to pick up the shield, and then they incorporate that into his suit in Age of Ultron.
Edit: He pick up the shield with the hand that doesn't have the magnet thing. My bad.
Double Edit: Don't heart me, i'm wrong!
Nah he didnt use the magnet to pick up the shield he push kicked it, the magnet was on his right hand he used his left to grab the shield
@@xaenocxortal3666 Also i think he breaks the magnet with the shield in the next scene
Didn't think vibranium was magnetic? At least, it's not magnetic in the comics.
@@xaenocxortal3666 You right. NVM.
@@westy1637 Its not, i think the hand grips inside are not made from vibranium, and thats where the centre of the shield is so it perfectly lines up with his hand when the wrist magnets pull it in.
"I want you to know Cap...this is not personal."
"I know...it is this damn Doom Music."
Great scene, and changed Steve's Rogers life forever, he stop being a institutionalized person... all with a simple brawl, no lasser or gun fight, nor explotions... pure ass kicking...just perfect dialogue filmed and edited with class.. 10 points....
Favorite superhero fight of all time. The first time I saw this, I was blown away by the choreography.
The best scene from any Marvel movie. Intense action, tension, and calm before the storm kind of vibe.
I have been binge watching DOOM music videos for weeks and this easily one of the best. The cut for dialogue is brilliant. Well done!
This is the best Doom Music clip I've seen. Perfect build up, perfect volume, perfect execution. Seriously all othe Doom vids the volume is too low or blaring to the point of distortion. 5* here
Damn, I thought this was the version where Cap says Hail Hydra...
Oh well...
Let's get started🙏🙌💪
My favorite scene from my favorite MCU film. This cemented Cap as one bad mother... Fury can finish that.
Thank you for putting one of the best action game soundtracks to one of the best scenes the MCU ever gave us, and with good editing too.
my personal favorite scene in the entire mcu...the whole movie was a pure pleasure too.
to this day, the movie still surpasses the likes of the big, glowy clunky Ragnarok, BP, Shang Chi, etc by simply being a grounded, straight forward action masterpiece.
Other thing is that no one really has super powers in this other than cap and Bucky
Easy now. Ragnarok was a beast of a movie. Lol
The Master Chief has gone Rampant, take him down boys
Same vibe, except that when cap and crossbones fight they don't look like drunken 50y old guys
I think the "Hail Hydra" scene top it off nicely👍
"The only thing they fear is you" goes SO beautifully with the scene of manly action. ✨
This just makes the Endgame version of events so much more jarring
This was the best scene in that movie.
That and Furys sassy car.
Hands down one of the best cqc scenes
The way that cap savagely throws rumlow in to the roof is simply amazing
throwing him against the ceiling at the end, is actually super soldier strength. they don't show that, very often.
It needed that soundtrack. I miss 90’s/2000’s action soundtracks that made your heart beat.
Cap: "I'm not trapped here with you. YOU ARE trapped here with me."
"What has two butts and kills people?"
"What?"
"An assassin."
Bleh! lol
Omg bahaaaahaaaas
My spouse just said that this sounds like a Hawkeye joke, and now I can't unhear it! *lol*
When they say "it ain't personal" that makes it so much worse. You pretty much betrayed him because you were told to
Trouble - added trouble - is such statements are usually flat-out lies.
“It’s always personal - *VERY* personal - whenever someone tries for you. *They targeted you.”*
One of the smoothest edits I've seen in a while. Cutting off the music right at the quote was brilliant.
By far my favorite "when the DOOM music kicks in" video so far!
I like how in this edit, Cap’s concerned face before the fight starts looks like he’s scared of the creeping music
Nah, not scared of it.
More like "is that the DOOM music...? Am I gonna have to kick someone's ass in a few seconds...?"
This is will forever be the ultimate "So You have chosen death" Anthem. Just build up from beginning to end is like sailing through a typhoon. Seeing the storm on the horizon, knowing you have no choice but to push through so you prepare yourself, when the storm hits you its roar of the synthwaves and guitar, through the storm you're fighting to stand and push as each wave smash into and your ship, then theres that calm "the eye of the storm" but you know nothing this serene last forever and it pisses you the fuck off, you're steadfast and focus you hear the thunder beat like drums as the final wall of hell consumes you and then you hear it voices of brave souls who crossed these but were seen again they give you their hail to victory...
rip and tear!
Rip and Tear!
RIP AND TEAR!
RIP AND TEAR!
RIP AND TEAR!
R I P A N D T E A R!
RIP AND TEAR
If the song doesn't start with a ticking clock or a ringing bell, it's not worthy of being called the ultimate anthem...
Cap: before we start, does anyone want to get out?
Me in the elevator: might as well
This will be on my favorites list.
I love the ending when he says "it kinda feels personal" lol
Best example of the "when the Doom music kicks in" meme yet.
Now imagine if those poor bastards tried to take on the slayer himself in an elevator... Wouldn't be a PG-13 movie anymore.
This. For all his strength, Rogers never fought lethally after WWII ended. He only incapacitated.
@@charlesschneider7798 He definitely fought lethally after WWII. Watch the opening to Age of Ultron where he throws his bike into a truck completely destroying it or the start of Winter Soldier and the Helicarrier scenes. He just doesn't go out of his way to be lethal.
@@LoneMclovin i think he means lethal as in, cap easily has the strength to literally punch through someones chest and rip their heart out, but he doesn't
I would have got out so fast 😂... better yet I wouldn't have went in lol
Well to be frank no1 knows when shit like that’s gonna go down so your better off with the first option
"Before we start, does anyone to get out?"
All 3 Captain America movie were good but this scene is hands down the best.
