A few minor nitpicks of a glitch hunter here.
Second image shows 'M, which is not the same species as Missingno., but often called their "sister pokemon" due to similarities.
Fifth fact is also worded a bit strangely and can cause some confusion. Z is not a form of Missingno, in fact it is more related to the pokemon Persian than it is to Missingno itself. Second, the "certain form of Missingno" mentioned is not a form at all, in fact it is just the sprite that it has within Yellow version. It is no different from a Charizard having two different sprites in two different games, the reason for this sprite change is due to minor differences in game versions which the data is pulled from to create their iconic sprite to begin with.
(Lastly, calling every glitch pokemon a Missingno. is misleading, as they all have their own effects and data differences that put them apart. There are many other glitch pokemon which exist that are unique but get nearly no recognition due to the stereotype that they are all just called Missingno. This ranges from Gen 1 glitches such as 4 4, the unique Decamarks in Gen 3, and even the thousands of hidden glitch pokemon that exist in Gen 6-8's code.)
Besides that though, most of this is correct. Bulbapedia steals most of the glitch pokemon information from GCL's website anyways.

The missingno. From Pokémon yellow version isn’t it dangerous or at least more impactful than base red/blue missingno.
@@flare8708 Yellow Missingno has a large sprite that often overflows a certain section of data which confuses and crashes the game, but not always. It can still run with fixed values just fine. However unlike what media would like you to believe, this does not corrupt data in the least bit.
Backwards sprites caused by it and many other glitch pokemon also aren't harmful, and are fixed upon a soft reset or viewing a normal dex entry.
What you really need to worry about with glitch pokemon are glitch moves, especially "super glitch" which often appears as *-* or *(enemy pokemons name)* in battle. Those can kill a save file effortlessly, sometimes just by viewing the moves name even.

@@flare8708 No problem. I always like being able to clear this stuff up because unfortunately people give Missingno a really bad reputation when it's really one of the nicer stable glitches out there.

Missingno is the poster child for gen 1 gliches. I really loved his inclusion in Pokemon rocket edition. Overall I really like him

@@jacktheprince5524 i love finding glitches and getting out of bounds, and yeah... it can be hella scary when you are wandering around a completely abandoned area and you see the world falling apart... tbh missingno legit scares me for one reason...
the thought of living inside the game... with a creature no one else See's as it shreds and and distorts the reality you live in... you see your friends faces shredding and melting as you cant stop the monster from breaking existence entirely...

the town you thaught is your home due to the fact that its exactly the same as home... but something is... off.. nothing but you is there... some walls are just... gone... some parts of home... void... and without warning... you disappear too

Missingno is used to get the unlimited rare candy glitch!! (Or unlimited any item) in Pokémon Red and Blue!!
all it really does is add 128 to the item count
When I was a kid first playing blue I was at a summer camp thing and a older kid showed me the glitch. Oh boys did I never play the same after that on that game lmao 🤣

Missingno is my favorite pokemon. If they did it right, they could make it a real pokemon. Maybe a regional evolution for a Galarian porygon?

You forgot to mention one of the most interesting facts: two of missingno’s forms resemble skeleton versions of kabutops and aerodactyl, which means that they were possibly going to add skeletal forms of those two, which makes sense when you consider that they’re both fossil Pokémon
Uh actually those 2 are just using the museum sprite data for the exhibits
The same way one of the others uses the sprite data of the Lavander Ghosts

I would love for it to be a real thing after all these years. Like some bugged former experiment before Porygon was made. Make it appear visually as the blocky broken graphics moving about and occasionally it reforms into the fossils or ghost while idle or attacking.

Also in x and y there is a possible reference in luminous city where the light at the end of the tunnel has a MissingNo type shape.
I remember catching Missingno in Blue. I think I remember if you give it 1 rare candy it evolves into a kangaskhan. But it can also mess up your saved file.
It was up until gen 5 that we got a Pokemon that officially replaced Misingno's Pokédex number. And I am talking about Victini of course which is the only Pokemon with a Pokédex entry #000

For the people who dont know, if you get a missingno in pokemon shield/sword you can duplicate any pokemon you want. It is an exact copy and will also copy the item it is holding.

2 years late. There are 39 variations of Missingno, probably related to scrapped Pokémon in Red & Blue that were repurposed for Gold & Silver (Ho-Oh, Scizor, Shuckle etc.). Most of them are almost entirely identical: They have the same stats, initial movesets, learnable TMs. The Fossils and Ghost Missingnos use the sprites and as such have no back sprites. Basically, these three are just a coincidence. Still cool tho.

I have a theory on missing No. what if they had an idea for a god Pokémon but couldn’t put them in there so they added the glitch as a place holder and 4 gens later the problem was fixed.
Close enough, no god pokemon, missingno just takes the spaces of "deleted" (can't find the right word) pokemon

there are only 4 forms of missingno in the Japanese version. the ghost form shares its name with haunter instead
In Japanese Version
The Ghost form is the prototype of ghosts in Lavender Town's Tower.
But in the final version Ghosts is a regular pokemon but with Ghost sprite and Ghost name.
