On reconnais plusieurs lieux: La place d'Youville près du Capitole, les fortifications de Québec, la Porte St-Jean, le magasin Simons, la Basilique Notre-Dame de Québec, l'Église St-Andrew's, etc...J'habites Québec et il est toujours plaisant de marcher là où Hithchock a décidé d'y tourner ce film!
What do you expect - emotions morality sentiments internal struggles are no longer part of this world - people want to be entertained in a childish ways and are fed with trash - can't confront the realities of life they can't cope, immaturity will destroy them better laugh watching animated cartoons
I agree, it has not been given the credit it deserves, I believe it is one of Hitchcock's best. Montgomery Clift played the part of Fr. Logan so believably and was so good at visually expressing the turmoil he felt inside.
When films had a moral story behind a script - - great expressive acting lost for ever - - the film industry is now producing action movies, frantic car chases, shootings, computer images, etc. - -

@@opaulamorgan4265 Lifeboat is also one of my favourite Hitchcock movies that's not widely talked about
