I agree with you but Westlake are the defending Blues champions. While they might not be number 1 in the country, they’re contenders on the national stage. The Blues final will be on the Shore and will be a hell of a game this year. Westlake need to go into a stronger competition. It’s not helping anyone having them in the Harbour competition. They play that Super 8 style so I think they’d make the Auckland 1A a stronger competition having them in it. Hamilton are still number 1 in my eyes. They just have to play killers every week and Napier got them on the day.
Until I see Westlake beat a top 1a or Super 8 school then no they shouldn’t be ranked 1st🤷♂️
