    I’d like to see a full video on your thoughts about the premiership and how a restructure could change England rugby. I’d also like to hear what you think about Scotland’s club rugby, or lack of it, and how having a better professional scene could effect us, seeing as though compared to football (Scotland are much better at rugby than football) in which Scotland has 3 leagues of teams and seemingly only 2 professional rugby teams. Basically just a video on home nations club rugby and how it effects the national teams.
    Your videos are great though, keep them coming.

      t1mothy_ If England gave dual contracts for English players it would literally solve all the problems in English club rugby

    • @MrHazzaman6
      @MrHazzaman6 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tom Harding I think so too, I’d like to hear someone else’s opinion on how rugby in Scotland could be improved. I’m from Aberdeen, Scotland, and it really does feel like the national team is a borders team. Clearly Scotland can play rugby, but how do we get better

    • @Tom_Harding
      @Tom_Harding 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      t1mothy_ I think Scotland would need more than two major teams as there’s plenty of highly populated cities like Aberdeen that don’t have major clubs. National dual contracts could work with Scotland but it wouldn’t give Scottish players lots of options to choose from so would be harder to tie them down. Scottish rugby is growing though and it’s only a matter of time till there are more teams.

    Even when England won 18 in a row, there were clear weaknesses - and Eddie Jones was open about some of them, and not so open about others, but still tried to address them. He tried to find a seven, but Harrison wasn't up to it and Clifford is always injured. Curry and Underhill have also been injured. Eddie Jones also constantly pointed out that England lacked leaders on the pitch and athleticism to turn defence into attack rugby. Hopefully sheer number of caps will solve the former and Mitchell/Wisemantle the latter.

      . 1106 the Ozzie's decided in the early naughties to reduce fundng at grass roots and concentrate on high performance coaching. This backfired and then the only province that invested at grass roots level The Western Force was chucked out of Super Rugby (their players making the usual wooden spooners, the Rebels a success so far this yr).

    • @prof_kaos9341
      @prof_kaos9341 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plus for the last 2-3 yrs of the Robbie Deans era there looked to be a player revolt with half the team barely trying (James O'Connor), since the ARU had poor depth and no obvious replacements, while a small number of players played themselves into the ground trying to do honour to being a Wallaby. Will Genia was the main player who ran himself ragged and eventually he left Oz for Europe to recuperate.

      SavageArfad haha true, 10 times the size of Dublin but Croke Park, or Landsdown, are both not really out in the suburbs. I'd call them the inner suburbs, would be equivalent to say having a stadium in London situated in Paddington or Islington. Which are the suburbs 200yrs ago, just like the areas the Croke Park and Landsdown are.
