We haven't had a decent amount of snow in many years here in central Oklahoma, but we are supposed to have a chance for some next week! My girls are so excited! My youngest is almost 10 & she doesn't remember our last time to have a decent amount of snow! The girls are planning to go sledding & make snow angels!
To be honest I love that your vlogs are still your day to day life and not these extravagant trips and over the top stuff that are completely unrealistic. I hope that you will keep this style as there are other vloggers that I don’t even watch anymore for that reason. I appreciate that u share ur life with us... good and ‘not so good’. Oh my goodness Ellie - you had me teary eyed at the end. It's crazy how fast time flies. Exciting to see them grow but also sad to let go of them being babies.
My TH-cam preferences have changed over the last year, but one thing that hasn't changed is watching E&J daily. There's something about your family that I just love, and even the days that you don't do much but play with a train set on the floor I still watch through the entire video.
Tommy has the sweetest smile! Oh my goodness, those cheeks! And that laminating idea is genius. We have a laminator and I cannot believe I’ve never thought of that before!
Ellie I just want to say you are literally killing it!!! I watch daily and even with all your hormone/health stuff going on you are just so inspiring! I am struggling SO hard with my 9 month old who does NOT sleep and here you are killing it with THREE kids. I would love to see a day/night/whatever routine of how you do it all!!
Not to discount Calvin, and Tommy in anyway, but I have to say Jackson has more empathy, and maturity than many adults, It is amazing to watch him, he is so loving , joyful, and grateful for his life, and his family, and his brothers. I have seen amazing growth in Calvin, both because of who you are, but Jackson again is so responsible, and has led his brother's growth as well, Tommy is just adorable, to see Calvin's love for Tommy, it's incredible. Your boys are going to be wonderful men someday, I remember when Jackson wished he could be a part of his family forever, that was so sweet and went so far beyond his years, Jackson also has manners, and respect, and I loved when he asked your neighbor if Bob Ross was her husband. Ellie and Jared, you are stand up, hands on parents, In this day and age, and having been a kindergarten teacher in the 70's whomever gets Jackson in school next year will be one blessed teacher, because so many parents have "Quality Time" with their kids, and so many don't have the ability to stay home with there kids. Piaget, and Erik Erikson constantly spoke of the time between birth and six as being the most important time in a child's development, and if the parent isn't there the child's development suffers. Your children are receiving stellar care.

Adapting your bedtime routine and boundaries to our family’s schedule has been the ultimate game changer! I finally feel productive in the evening, and even have some time to just relax and soak my pregnant hips with a bath bomb, and spend with my hubby. My 2 year old will now walk to his room and go to bed without a fuss EVERY NIGHT thanks to your advice!
1. I totally agree with set bedtimes! I’m trying so hard to create good habits with our 11 month old twins so it’ll be maybe a slight bit easier when they’re toddlers! 2. We’re less than a month away from our babies turning 1 and I feel you on wanting to weep with this milestone 😭
Yup couldn't agree more! I try if baby is willing to set really good sleep habits. That's why I don't really hold them while they sleep. I want them to sleep so well. Kids will be easier to tolerate if they aren't overtired.

I started watching you guys roundabouts when you found out you were expecting Jackson. It’s really weird because my miracle baby number 2 (I conceived him on my final double dose of Clomid) was coming up 5 and I can remember looking at him thinking what a big boy he was. He’s now coming up 10 and I can’t believe it!
I loved your vlog the other day about being honest, I can only imagine how you felt switching the camera on, bare faced and with acne and I just wanted to say that I think you are a beautiful person and it shines through your heart. I hope that the nasty trolls that were unkind to your family member (I have a feeling it would be on of the gorgeous 8 passengers) get their comeuppance in one way or another.
