Built my first ever computer last week using this GPU and the Ryzen 5 7600x. Pretty happy that I had no issues and everything is working fine, also runs every game I want at 1440p, most of them with nearly max/max settings and pretty well too. Temps are also pretty good. Might sound stupid, but truly the happiest I've been especially upgrading from 7yo laptop with an intel i5 and gtx 1060.
Yep, I went for AMD GPU this time round too as I have zero interest in RT (while performance hit is still too high imo) and price to performance on AMD for raster is way better. Enjoy your new GPU dude.
AMD is slowly removing the reasons to go Nvidia. They improved encoding this gen, improved RT, improved AI performance, and now FSR 3 is starting to look comparable to DLSS. They also just improved their fram gen drivers. Those are all significant improvements over the 6000 series.
I upgraded from a gtx 980 to a rx 7900 xtx. the drivers were a little buggy at first, but now im so stable, great temps and I cN max everything at 1440p.
Thank you mate. I'm currently using the 1070TI and can just about play 1440p 144HZ games. I just bought this same GPU off scan for £499. It is on offer today. Appreciate it!
Going AMD AM5 on my ITX build . Just to see how it compares to my AM4 build with an rtx 4070ti . Cannot recall the last time I bought an AMD GPU in all the 35 years , I have been building

I have exactly the same card and it excels in almost every game in 4k and even 5k in some good old titles as Assassin's creed rogue and Syndicate at 60 FPS raw. To those titles that end up with less than 50 fps in 4k, AFMF could come into play boosting twice the fps without any loss in visual quality. Consequently, I prefer AFMF more than FSR. I was to go with rtx 4070 and 4070 super and then I heard about this card being an excellent value.
Looking to upgrade my 2060 super to this card. Never used an amd gpu in my life lol. How has it been for you till this day? Would you recommend it over the 4070?

I have changed from a GTX1080 to the Asrock RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming Wanted the steel legend but the Phantom was a better price. Love the card cool and quiet. Even tho I have a G-Sync monitor still went AMD and I probably will in the future. I've had the 4070 i found the performance mediocre with ray tracing it's nothing spectacular, even though one tech news site gave it GPU of the year over the 7800xt. I just had a 4070ti develop a fault, so I'm currently using the hellhound spectral white 7800 xt so I've switched to AMD for now.

I'm simply sick of Nvidia prices. They don't make it possible for gamers to buy their products anymore. I mean, almost $2500 for a 4090. GTFOH! And the cards they do sell for less aren't nearly as good as the AMD line and still, they overcharge those too. I'm also gonna go with AMD. I'm done with Nivida. Just done.
Anyone have an issue with their AMD GPU where if your monitor goes to sleep while the PC is still on, it keeps waking the monitor(s) on with a "No Signal" every 30 seconds or so?
