What do you think? I am planning 5700X with Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16. Do the Ram modules fit under the cooler or is ram clearance a problem so i do have to look for low profile rams?
I have low profile ram here it's what I used it will fit, but you would have to move the fan up
Thags why I went 1000w gold ready for my 1st build it may be over kill be it will never be lacking
That's the way
The MX-4 is a very old product and still sells for so much money, I purchased an unknown brand M12 at AliExpress and after doing tests with the MX-4, to my shock, Lower temperatures after using M12 than when using MX-4.
Problem with buying unknown brands you don't know if it's conductive or not
both are great but im a grizzly fan
I prefer the thermal grizzly also
I like the performance of aio but every time i turn on my computer it worries me when is this fuck going to leak and destroy my shi. So in my current build I'm sticking with my aircooler🤣
It won't leak as its a closed loop
Would you recommend these over the tl-c12s
Yes definitely
Am i right in thinking this is negative pressure though? Might better to just take off the back fan.
I always run a back fan because it does help
Hey so i got a pack of these to test it out, it seems like the inner and outer ring share the same signal, the 8 inner LEDs sharing the signal with 8 of the LEDs from the outer ring, did you experience this? I saw you talking about this in other comments but I wanted to confirm before I return this that its also the same deal for you where the inner fan LEDs just correspond to a small section of the outer ring. I have each fan going to a separate header so I can make effects move across them seamlessly. These look incredible but unfortunately wont work for that.
Yeah, these are budget RGB fans if you wanted separate LEDs then you would be paying much more for that feature
@@WELSHYTECH this feels more like a design oversight than a cost cutting measure (could tack those LEDs on in series rather than copying the signal in parallel) but the more expensive companies pay someone to think about these things.
@@joshw.2739 but the point is having this type of argb fan at a good price point
is there an optical output?
From what I remember yes
@@WELSHYTECH thanks 🙏
It's actually an okay GPU if you can get under 300$. Might not give you the highest FPS, but those VRAM will make sure your game textures doesn't look like PS1 game.
I agree it's an ok GPU. Yeah, the price should of been at launch £280 £300 and it would of made more sense
Are there any other small coolers you'd recommend ahead of this one? Around the same price point or maybe a bit higher. Just curious what would be most ideal for a smaller space
what CPU do you have that's the more important question then I can go from there
thanks for the tips man, really appreciate it!
You are most welcome
I think you should start weight all cooler - some products don't mention in specification their weights ...
you are the only person to ask and it's never someone who Asks I am starting to add more specs and information to my more recent videos but weight won't be something, people ask also if you look on the Arctic website it will tell you the weight
@@WELSHYTECH thanks, my concerns abou weight are caused by some friend experience when he mounted macho on board that "give up" after some months past installation. Also AMD don't officially publicly specific this parametr. In the end I imported BA120 (not new Evo). I plan using it on 7700 with PBO ensbled .
@adamb.834 the BA 120 is a great cooler and should be fine with that CPU
cheers this is a video I was looking foe straight to the point. Liked and subscribed based on that and i´ll come back for more reviews from you!
Thank you 😊 I do appreciate it
The real question is how did you screw it in?
8 screws one side and 8 on the other
hello i recently got this aio it works great. only issue i have is the Zeaginal Software doesnt allow me to change the wallpaper, everytime i tried changing it just gives me a can not connect to the monitor error, i tried contacting Yeston for any support , but they never got any response, any reccomendation?
You sure you got this model and not the GE version
I have this cooling a 7800x3d with a AM5 mounting plate, it idles in Windows around 50-55C. Cools everything well but I would have preferred something that could get me into the 40C range that isn't a huge cooler that blocks my ram. I think it would have been smart of them to include another fan. Hopefully someone will make something that fits this criteria in the near future.
You could just buy a 135mm fan and add it
also it's normal for AM5 CPUs to idle at high
I'll be waiting for the Chromax Black versions ... To replace my D15s ...
They will be coming soon
Great review , i love the scottish accent btw !
Thanks, and I'm not Scottish. I'm welsh
Nice review! I wonder how it compares to Thermalright's other "low height" cooler, the Silver Soul 135.
Aww, thank you I have the Silver Soul 135 mm here, but it's in permanent use
@@WELSHYTECH I used my SS 135 on an overclocked 4790K up until a few months ago.
Such a tidy little cooler 😍. Thermalright really have their fingers on the pulse of the consumers nowadays! Tidy review my man! 👍😉.
Thank you appreciate it
hey just wonder, are u ordering these from amazon to review and then return them? lol how you get so many coolers to reviews? btw i came from your Prism vs Notte video and i appreciate it man. its hard to find a good video to tell the difference between the two.
I'm getting these Coolers directly From Thermalright Bud have been since 2022 like any other product you see on the channel I get directly from brands I work with
@@WELSHYTECH thats great to hear man. i tried to use your link because i needed to buy a 2 fan version of the prism. but ur link only worked for uk cause it took me to the EU website of amazon. but thanks again for the videos man.! can't wait till u get a better production going cause the materials are solid!
@JamesColeman12 that's something I'm already working on but it's a slow process My spare room will be a shooting area
what gpu is that mabe???... see the dimensions maybe realy fix on z11 this mini
Rx 7600XT
Looks like an effective little cooler! (Nice to see the varied comparison charts appearing too 😁)
I did say I'd start to add more Coolers to my reviews
I own the 240 Notte Black ARGB and I love it! Never going to an air cooler again.
Glad your happy
Could you please tell me if its loud, I cant find anything in the internet for that
@@OG-ShortsYT 100% both are loud at 50% not so much
@@WELSHYTECH I can set them to 50% in the BIOS or
@@OG-ShortsYT yeah you can or download software called Fancontrol and do it within windows
I have this 240 v3 on my ryzen 5 5600x in games it mostly only reach to 65c but that also depends on the room temps aswell. As the room temps in summer rises the warmer the components will be so that also affect it. To take into account
I know
What cpu are you testing on ?
I do say and also I put the cpu at the beginning
Good for Cooling 5600x?
I have reviewed this on the channel check it out
I'm choosing between this monitor and the AOC 24G4X. Which one do you think is better?
I haven't tested the AOC 24G4X, but it is very close to the 27G4X so it's really upto you if you choose the msi monitor use my link in the description
have a problem with this kb .... The keys have been misconfigured, how can I reset them to the factory settings?
That I'm afraid I don't know
Which one do you prefer i m using r5 5600 sometimes my cpu can be 100°c
Either will do the job I prefer the Burst Assassin as it's built better
What a handsome young man u are, wow.
Um Thanks
What do you think. Should i get cheap fans and replace them if they break later or get expensive now?
That is completely up to you But from experience, I'd honestly spent more on good quality fans because the cheap ones won't last as long
The phantom barley fits in my build I can’t imagine the frost
The Frost is Bigger
Thermalright has been making great products for decades. Glad they're finally getting the traction they deserve.
Well id say about 5 years ago Thermalright wasn't well known But now they are and I believe I've helped them with that after reviewing so many of their products
bought 360 pro version because of this video, thank you for this review!
You are most welcome
i love this cooler but, thinq dont fix on mi Rog z11. Mabe You can tride
ROG Z11 is because 130 mm is the max height, and the Peerless Assassin MINI is 135 mm
@@WELSHYTECH Yea 😭 maybe soul 110 but is only 90mm
@plagdrian the Soul 110 should fine depends on the cpu you have bud
@@WELSHYTECH y have a 120 axp whit a ryzen 5600. but a see prove generate perfect air flow
I have this cooler and I plan on testing it with the round noctua fan
Oh nice Thermalright sent this for review
Can’t beat that! Did they say when this cooler launched? I feel like it’s relatively new
@@XHeavygunX yeah hasn't long come out
I'm still on a Ryzen 5600x. I'm thinking of squeezing some more life out of it by upgrading to a 5800x3d
It definitely would help
Great video, thnx!
No problem 😊
Can replace stocks fans with different ones
Yes
I'm saving up for a new pc next year when prices hopefully drop. In the mean time I chose to upgrade to this from my stock cooler because it fits my corsair carbide spec o4 tg case and prime a320mk motherboard! It's the only thing i could find that would fit the combination and because I've got a 3 3300x I needed to upgrade from stock. Loved the review.
Glad your happy and Thank you
Which one should I go with bro, lg ultra gear 27gp850 or this one
I haven't checked out the LG bud so I can't really say but you would be good with either
Thanks for the video! Can you elabora te more about the función of the "fan in" conector?
@@lotariuss do you mean the PWM Fan connector or the ARGB connector
@@WELSHYTECH I guess is the pwm because is labeled "fan in". Is not the one at the side of the two power conectores, is the other one.
@lotariuss the function of the PWM Fan header is to connect your case fans up to your GPU so when the GPU fans spin up so will the case fan's
@@WELSHYTECH thanks a lot for the information! Keep UP the good vids!
@@lotariuss Thank you and your welcome
Volume tests should be from a distance of 0.5m because no one has ears at the fan itself
Its a noise Test its only to let people know if its loud or not
The sound doesn't work 😭 big sad. Anyone know why this is?
Have you selected the AOC monitor in sound on windows
Can you daisy chain these?
Yes, but I'd only dasychain 3 fans anymore, which would cause unless connected to a hub
